Anything you saw that stand out? i'm from model kits/miniatures so usually glue is involved! but very curious about the possibilities of articulated stuff : D

Might be the way that the pattern is running different directions in different places, whereas on clownfish it runs all in one direction.

But the colors are spot on Clownfish. That's what I saw. I didn't pay that much attention to which direction they were going.

Any advice for people trying to start to do this sort of stuff? Any resources that help? This is so impressive.

My best advice would be : don't give up :D i'm getting i past my 30ties not long ago, i'm starting to total quite a hundreds/thousands hours by now so don't be frustrated by not being where you would like to be ! Work hard on what you want to perfect, don't be afraid of failure and shit like that! I must confess that when I look at my work, i tend to \*hate\* it, not giving up is a perpetual battle, and as long as you put in the work, there will be progress ! Be harsh with the work but not with yourself! Don't give up, find a way to enjoy your work and practice hours, there will be many ! : ) ​ On the ressources, Andrew loomis on basically.. everything anatomy and drawing Gurney for color theory ! blenderguru for starting blender (donutt!!), and check the zbrush summits, tons of super cool artist show how they work, that's for me the best way, look how pros do : ) Worst part is they are such at ease when working in front of thousands, they are amazing! all of them ! and you too ! : )

Cheers :D I think something is wrong with my camera phone *(but def not with me)* like auto hdr or something, pixels are.. blurry? blended? both new phone and bad photographer(me) makes a bad mix! Ideally i'd need a real camera, but i feel it's wasted as long as i don't learn a bit more about acutal photography, i feel like a monke playing with a violin :p

I see what you're saying, but honestly I love the images. There is a quality I can't name that just makes it look intriguing and fantastical. Regardless, the quality is apparent in both the print itself and the paint job. You've got a skill set I am impressed by.

Zbrush ! I'm used to it because i learned sculpting with it, mostly at work (s) Blender is still super amazing, every sculpt goes through it for cleanup/inspection and rendering ! (still do not have marmoset toolbag) I could sculpt on blender, i but i'm soo used to zbrush

Soo before my first project, i got zbrush.. I had (a fews) prior experience with it from work thought ! Blender is an amazing program! i Do my cleanup, checks, render(none displayed here) in zbrush is really a beast for sculpting, i know you can export directly from it, but blender is my go-to 3D program. except for sculpting! But only because i'm so used to Zbrush, honestly, i'm sure i *could* do the same on blender! I'm just so used to Zbrush that i knew i needed this program, i used it a lot for drawing too : / ( i suck balls at perspective and gauging materials/light and for 2D it was perfect to get a base to draw on! ) ​ I also really want to try VR drawing/sculpting! but i have no headset :D

If you have a PSP, try MH Freedom Unite. Was the first Monster Hunter Game I played and honestly still the best for me! I think in MH World the Tigrex is only available through a DLC

Not a filter, i have a new phone, and i thiiink it's something with auto HDR i'm not sure, it's as is i did not slap any filter or anything on photoshop, it's just me trying to use my phone "as" a camera, but since i do not want to admit that I am faulty here.. so i'm blaming the phone ! (seriously i forgot to turn off this auto HDR and did not notice on my phone screen until it was too late - on my computer, then confusion, and lazyness )

Don't think it's HDR, looks like a watercolour filter. Then there is some kind of white frame added to it.

Ohhh ! the white frame is mine, i made this for consistency on my pictures (because they were displayed on KS which has a white background - so it blends with the page a bit better! ) But again, no filters like watercolors from PS : )

Really nice! We don't have enough multicoloured dragons, they're always one solid colour with maybe a metallic tint to them. We need more of snake-like colour patterns and other natures patterns.

I'm not sponsored so i'll dont name the brand : P But it's the basic, red plastic cover one. I wanted the most generic printer to be in-line with what other will have ! Annd it was my frist one so price was a plus :P

I'm currently looking at getting into it and am looking for a first one! Friend suggested one with a cover, as it'll be in my at home office

I'm in the same situation ! it's in my office so i got the combo, industrial shelf growtent and air extractor to the window! In the end the printer was not even half of price the setup : P
