I was more shocked about the heavy makeup. Injecting the needles through that dirty skin without sanitizing it first could cause germs to enter and lead to infection.
I think that Botox is intended to be administered to a patient who is seated/upright so that it doesn’t migrate to adjacent areas. I know that it is recommended that patients don’t bend/recline/lie down for some time after injections to prevent this. Not 100% sure that I am expressing this properly, though…
