I think just microbladed? I’ve been getting mine microbladed for the last 7 years. This looks about 3 weeks after when they start to flake. You have to keep moisturizing them too which leads to this v weird look.
I do brows and that’s fresh microblading and shading. A bad job of it. Pigment will be Dark, lighten up and go a little bit darker again. But that is Waaaaaay too dark. Especially for his skin tone and mature skin. Nano brows work best on more mature skin.

Some go back for a touch up session to make andjustments After 8 weeks as the trauma to the skin needs to be completely healed. The dye is to penetrate into the skin so that it will last longer. Thats why an artist needs to be upfront about the entire process And explain in detail what happens. It’s dark for the first 1-2 weeks and begins to lighten up while healing. But I am sure yours turn out beautifully because everything that you described is the process and supposed to happen 😂. Thats why the first thing I tell people, it’s going to be dark but do not worry as it will lighten up in a few weeks.
