This is pure facts. It is even accepted by science and taught in my university in many subjects. You see, when you have extreme opinion like "hating all albanians/serbs/croats" it is hard to find anybody in your surroundings to share these feelings. Also, on internet you are anonimous so you can write whatever you want and connect with people on other side of planet with the same extreme opinions.
Most of people really, honestly don't care. This is not necesserally even good, we should care. We should do everything to build more trust beetwen each other.
We have Albanians, in my city. There are some running bakeries and some types of trading businesses, but their numbers are miniscule.
The overwhelming attitude among our population here (Serbs, Hungarians and Croats) is deep seeded distrust and xenophobia towards Albanians.
Albanians are seen as a scheming bunch. They're also seen as not the most law abiding people. Always were. The events from the 90s only amplified that.
One thing is sure, the law and Albanians don't go well together. We have allergies from the law, even for small things breaking the law gives us a special kind of satisfaction. Thankfully most people in Albania at least have changed, but this can't be applied for some cunts that never change. But not for all the stuff, or when it directly involves other people. There are boundaries.

I'm not saying criminality, and of course there will be a contradiction I can't generalize a nation divided into 5 or 6 other nations. You break the law every day when you drive and ain't no Albanian that has the guts to deny that because I'm Albanian and I see that everyday. The thing is that many of us like the idea of doing something wrong, maybe it's the same all over but I don't know that. I know plenty of people that go in Europe to deal or grow weed and cocaine, some love it and some do it because they don't have many other options. We treat each other like shit everyday and that's why we say all sorts of crap about our country, still I can't generalize, like I said people have changed.
Because we had issues with Yugoslavia and Greece, the bulk of what makes up this sub. Unlike other countries, which have to deal with only one or two enemy countries. No one outside of the Balkans gives a shit, and living in the West I haven’t had a difficult time or bad experiences, to the contrary just mild curiosity.
This sub deteriorates my mental health to a great extent as a result, being an Albanian user. This topic/bait will definitely be no different as it will be used as an outlet for racism and rabid nationalism. Personally, I try to minimise time here and remind myself the last sentence of the first paragraph or else I might go insane.

Here in Switzerland I can say yes. They don‘t really like us and think that we are all lazy and criminal. The biggest political party had a campaign where they said that all Albanians from Kosovo stab Swiss people in the streets.
They still where really helpful during the war and let many Albanian refugees inside the country.
I have a neutral opinion of Albanians but from personal experience a lot of Albanians I met online are hyper-nationalists filled with hate, and that tends to color people's image of Albanians in general.

With Greeks there is a special kind of relationship. They hate us sometimes with a good reason and sometimes because some of them are shit, but they need us. We love them but we don't say it, it's like a couple that love each other and only fight but don't break up. At least we from Albania find a good place into Greek society because of many similarities, we are social people that can't live alone we need social interaction. I can't blame Albanians after communism at all, it's expected that if you raise someone in the jungle it will behave like that. But people change fast, at least their lifestyle and their way of perceiving life and people around. Greeks are arrogant people but they are warm and kind too, they did a lot of Albanians weather we accept it or not.

I have nothin against them but I can tell you some reasons I have seen talked about.
First there is the criminal aspect of it - everyone has criminals but Albanian organized crime is considered bigger and stronger than anything we have. Even bigger than Serbian. Some people see an Albanian and think must be up to something shady or illegal.
Then there is the fact that they speak a different language. So you have a group of people who you see as shady speaking a language you can’t understand. It’s kinda like the same thing with gypsies.
Last thing I’ll mention is the nationalism. It’s annoying when any group does it. Skenderbeg, Illyrians, blah blah no one gives a shit

With Greeks there is a special kind of relationship. They hate us sometimes with a good reason and sometimes because some of them are shit, but they need us. We love them but we don't say it, it's like a couple that love each other and only fight but don't break up. At least we from Albania find a good place into Greek society because of many similarities, we are social people that can't live alone we need social interaction. I can't blame Albanians after communism at all, it's expected that if you raise someone in the jungle it will behave like that. But people change fast, at least their lifestyle and their way of perceiving life and people around. Greeks are arrogant people but they are warm and kind too, they did a lot of Albanians weather we accept it or not.

I have nothin against them but I can tell you some reasons I have seen talked about. First there is the criminal aspect of it - everyone has criminals but Albanian organized crime is considered bigger and stronger than anything we have. Even bigger than Serbian. Some people see an Albanian and think must be up to something shady or illegal. Then there is the fact that they speak a different language. So you have a group of people who you see as shady speaking a language you can’t understand. It’s kinda like the same thing with gypsies. Last thing I’ll mention is the nationalism. It’s annoying when any group does it. Skenderbeg, Illyrians, blah blah no one gives a shit

Most albanians don’t hate turks, in fact they are seen positively IRL by most normal people. Only extreme nationalists hate them who are a minority. Our dislike for the ottomans/ Erdogan does not and should not translate to hating modern day turks or turkey.

I don't like them nor respect or disrespect them. The Turks are as far to me as the Chinese. I think the most likeable of the Balkans to us are the Croats and that's it. The same goes for the Bosnians for example, I don't have opinions on them cause never had encounters with them.
