hello guys , ive been withdrawing my satoshis from mainly binance every other day, and each time I withdraw i generate a different address ....... i was wondering if i will ever "run out" of addresses ? or if i should be concentrating this withdraws into one single address ?
thank you in advance
I could be wrong, I don't use a wallet, but I'm pretty sure if you don't consolidate your BTC into a single address, after time goes by and the fees constantly increase. It could end up costing you a ton of money to use or sale your BTC.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge of the subject will chime in, if I'm wrong
if you're using an HD wallet (basically any modern wallet), then no, you don't have to worry. there technically is a limit but it's very large (billions)
you should learn about UTXOs and why you shouldn't be withdrawing from an exchange that often
thanks! just did my research on UTXOs , just to make sure , is the reason to why shouldn't be withdrawing often from an exchange because of transaction fees ? or is it something else?
yeah, withdrawing from the exchange every 2-4 weeks is practical for most people, assuming you're using a reputable exchange. when fees are low, consolidate your UTXOs
Keep them preferably at least 0,01 BTC, a decent bitcoin wallet has the function coin control, (coin is UTXO) so you can select which UTXO to spend/consolidate. If not, you can send preferable amounts to new address. Do this when fees are low, put mempool.space on your homescreen to check.
Bitcoin in 2024 is the best asset of all time, in terms of risk profile and upside.
In the past, there was still regulatory uncertainty and questions about mainstream acceptance. This made it a much riskier investment.
Now, Bitcoin is established and embedded into the mainstream financial system. Its value is recognized at an institutional level. This takes away the biggest risk (going to zero) as it has both quantity in numbers of people who are interested, and quality in terms of rich, smart, powerful people who are involved.
We're getting in on an asset before price discovery. It's like buying land in the US when it was cheap, plentiful, and no one quite understood the value yet. Upside is tremendous.
Got downvoted yesterday because I [said ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1dn6kkq/comment/la1wdqc/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)we've reached the bottom.
The RSI(14D) is the lowest since August 17, 2023 and a [Hash-Ribbon](https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/hash-ribbons/) signal is forming. Of course it is possible but I think it is more likely that we are seeing the reversal right now.
There's a interwoven history of Bitcoin and wikileaks
Satoshi credited wikileaks with kicking the "hornets nest" for accepting donations in Bitcoin when they were cut off from banking.
Soon after Satoshi disappeared. Some suspect the wikileaks-bitcoin exposure combined with other factors was what caused Satoshi to disappear from the Bitcoin development scene for good.

The moron tag is a standard setting on the sub. You can easily remove it. First thing I did; not that I post much there. They're a bunch of salty, smug, fart-sniffing pseudo-intellectuals.
Rule #7 of the Buttcoin sub is "Don't hide flair".
The moderators manually set those "warning, I am a moron" and "Pоnzi Schemer" flairs. And if any of the mods catch you removing your flair, they will permanently ban you from their sub for violating rule #7.
If you keep commenting in Buttcoin without sounding like a complete idiot, then they will permanently ban you from their sub.
The only bitcoin supporters they don't permanently ban from their sub are the ones that post idiotic comments and they just keep those ones around so they can publicly make fun of them.
They seem to take these flairs quite seriously. Maybe it's odd, but I was always a bit fascinated by this thing they do with these flairs. Got one myself there as well, and then inevitably ended up being banned 🤷♀️.

Giving off major misogynist vibes there dude.
Forgot to take profits once more lol Ooh well, see you at the next halving. At least get some more time to accumulate more. Never been in it for the short term.
There are theories that say 73k was the peak. Not saying I'm adamant that's the case, but you can't deny that it's not a far fetched theory.
This time it really is different: we hit an ATH before the halving. We're in uncharted territory.
I agree with you.
I don't really place much importance on predictions, I am permanently all in on bitcoin, whatever comes. But I have had the same thought as you - we already broke the pattern by hitting an ATH before the halving, and that could be it for this cycle. That does not strike me as the most likely outcome. If I had to bet money, I would bet that bitcoin will hit a new ATH next year. But like you say, it's not outside the realm of possibility that we are done for this cycle.

I've seen videos of bears driving in cars. I think the bears are in Russia, and the cars kinda look shit.

this is misleading. the number of UTXOs is most important. you could have 100 UTXOs in a single address, the fee to move all 100 would be quite high
if you're using an HD wallet (basically any modern wallet), then no, you don't have to worry. there technically is a limit but it's very large (billions) you should learn about UTXOs and why you shouldn't be withdrawing from an exchange that often

yeah, withdrawing from the exchange every 2-4 weeks is practical for most people, assuming you're using a reputable exchange. when fees are low, consolidate your UTXOs
It's transaction fees. Nothing more. The total number of possible Bitcoin addresses is 2\^160, so you're likely not going to run out soon.
right. thank you! is there any right way to consolidate utxos ?
Keep them preferably at least 0,01 BTC, a decent bitcoin wallet has the function coin control, (coin is UTXO) so you can select which UTXO to spend/consolidate. If not, you can send preferable amounts to new address. Do this when fees are low, put mempool.space on your homescreen to check.

Bro you are literally guessing.
Everyone has predictions. You successfully predicted a local bottom (so far)... Congrats! did you put your money where your mouth was?
I am 100 % into Bitcoin for more than 4 years now
Then, again i say, congrats!

You can't never claim something for sure I'm crypto. There are many signs of a bottom being formed but we are not truly out of the woods yet.

It looks like our support level is going to be $60k for now, maybe?
Y'all done freaking out yet?
fear and greed being at 30 is crazy, it was in the 70's last week
You say crazy, I'm getting a chubby. If it hits extreme fear, you start getting the best buying opportunities.
