I just talking out my ass  but I think we just passed through something.

sanskritsquirel

I DCA'ed at $59,750 yesterday. I feel great!!!

tesseramous

Do bears ever get rich and buy lambos from their short trades?

shantzy2

Bears are commonly found throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. They have nonretractable claws, short tails, and excellent sense of smell. They're typically solitary, except for mothers with cubs.

Just1_More

I've seen videos of bears driving in cars. I think the bears are in Russia, and the cars kinda look shit.

HurricaneHarvey7

On the bright side now we get to look at some green candles for a bit

Salt-Bread-3708

hello guys , ive been withdrawing my satoshis from mainly binance every other day, and each time I withdraw i generate a different address ....... i was wondering if i will ever "run out" of addresses ? or if i should be concentrating this withdraws into one single address ? thank you in advance

iM0bius

I could be wrong, I don't use a wallet, but I'm pretty sure if you don't consolidate your BTC into a single address, after time goes by and the fees constantly increase. It could end up costing you a ton of money to use or sale your BTC.  Hopefully someone with more knowledge of the subject will chime in, if I'm wrong

sashimiNegitoro

this is misleading. the number of UTXOs is most important. you could have 100 UTXOs in a single address, the fee to move all 100 would be quite high

sashimiNegitoro

if you're using an HD wallet (basically any modern wallet), then no, you don't have to worry. there technically is a limit but it's very large (billions) you should learn about UTXOs and why you shouldn't be withdrawing from an exchange that often

Salt-Bread-3708

thanks! just did my research on UTXOs , just to make sure , is the reason to why shouldn't be withdrawing often from an exchange because of transaction fees ? or is it something else?

sashimiNegitoro

yeah, withdrawing from the exchange every 2-4 weeks is practical for most people, assuming you're using a reputable exchange. when fees are low, consolidate your UTXOs

ddbbccoopper

It's transaction fees. Nothing more. The total number of possible Bitcoin addresses is 2\^160, so you're likely not going to run out soon.

Salt-Bread-3708

right. thank you! is there any right way to consolidate utxos ?

Technical-Land3714

Keep them preferably at least 0,01 BTC, a decent bitcoin wallet has the function coin control, (coin is UTXO) so you can select which UTXO to spend/consolidate. If not, you can send preferable amounts to new address. Do this when fees are low, put mempool.space on your homescreen to check.

eyedude2898

Bitcoin in 2024 is the best asset of all time, in terms of risk profile and upside. In the past, there was still regulatory uncertainty and questions about mainstream acceptance. This made it a much riskier investment. Now, Bitcoin is established and embedded into the mainstream financial system. Its value is recognized at an institutional level. This takes away the biggest risk (going to zero) as it has both quantity in numbers of people who are interested, and quality in terms of rich, smart, powerful people who are involved. We're getting in on an asset before price discovery. It's like buying land in the US when it was cheap, plentiful, and no one quite understood the value yet. Upside is tremendous.

FrivolerFridolin

Got downvoted yesterday because I [said ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1dn6kkq/comment/la1wdqc/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)we've reached the bottom.

theduke9

Bro you are literally guessing.

Wrest_Assured

Everyone has predictions. You successfully predicted a local bottom (so far)... Congrats! did you put your money where your mouth was?

FrivolerFridolin

I am 100 % into Bitcoin for more than 4 years now

Wrest_Assured

Then, again i say, congrats!

FrivolerFridolin

:)

NectarineDirect936

Like we never see some bouncr after dropping that much.. might still go lower, nobody knows.

FrivolerFridolin

The RSI(14D) is the lowest since August 17, 2023 and a [Hash-Ribbon](https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/hash-ribbons/) signal is forming. Of course it is possible but I think it is more likely that we are seeing the reversal right now.

Throwwaway4970

You can't never claim something for sure I'm crypto. There are many signs of a bottom being formed but we are not truly out of the woods yet.

crispykfc

i perspire to be like satoshi

user_name_checks_out

I stink you can do it

Ok-Abbreviations6442

It looks like our support level is going to be $60k for now, maybe?

bigbrobalenciaga

Y'all done freaking out yet?

Strict_Teaching_4614

fear and greed being at 30 is crazy, it was in the 70's last week

iM0bius

You say crazy, I'm getting a chubby. If it hits extreme fear, you start getting the best buying opportunities.

Strict_Teaching_4614

it just jumped 1k after u said that, always inverse u/iM0bius thinking

iM0bius

I bought .05 BTC at in the 59k range. Still waiting though for a large BTC purchase. I've been waiting for awhile to see what Mt Gox clients do

CaptainDr

Ive got a good feeling about today

URNape2

It's always a good day for corn

user_name_checks_out

Well, we bounced back above 60K, so far so good

jerkity_jerk

Ignorant guy here, what does he have to do with BTC?

Fiach_Dubh

There's a interwoven history of Bitcoin and wikileaks Satoshi credited wikileaks with kicking the "hornets nest" for accepting donations in Bitcoin when they were cut off from banking. Soon after Satoshi disappeared. Some suspect the wikileaks-bitcoin exposure combined with other factors was what caused Satoshi to disappear from the Bitcoin development scene for good.

jerkity_jerk

Ohhh. I understand now, thank you

Romsel87

Personally banned from Buttcoin. Yet, i recieve a DM from some butter trying to make fun of me. What a pathetic sub.

iM0bius

I have the "I'm a moron" tag over there, one post from being banned from what I've heard.

escodelrio

The moron tag is a standard setting on the sub. You can easily remove it. First thing I did; not that I post much there. They're a bunch of salty, smug, fart-sniffing pseudo-intellectuals.

slutfarming

Rule #7 of the Buttcoin sub is "Don't hide flair". The moderators manually set those "warning, I am a moron" and "Pоnzi Schemer" flairs. And if any of the mods catch you removing your flair, they will permanently ban you from their sub for violating rule #7. If you keep commenting in Buttcoin without sounding like a complete idiot, then they will permanently ban you from their sub. The only bitcoin supporters they don't permanently ban from their sub are the ones that post idiotic comments and they just keep those ones around so they can publicly make fun of them.

CrypticCodedMind

They seem to take these flairs quite seriously. Maybe it's odd, but I was always a bit fascinated by this thing they do with these flairs. Got one myself there as well, and then inevitably ended up being banned 🤷‍♀️.

Romsel87

Good, fuck them.

jeff_varszegi

It's a cult, led by an obsessed charismatic leader. I was quickly banned and don't think I was even slightly unreasonable, just asking basic questions.

escodelrio

Report the account for harassment.

viewmodeonly

Are we in a better mood today?

Anzu_Yamasaki

still butter mood

GoElastic

How many personalities do you have?

theshapester1980

Just a reminder to everyone that your supposed to Buy low and sell high, and stop losing your shit. Thanks

CoffeeAlternative647

generic_username_333

TLDR bought more 🫡

Just1_More

Either you know, and 40k to 100k measured in cuck bucks is a rounding error. Or... You don't, and Plebs that understand the above will gladly buy your cheap Sats. Printer_is_coming.jpeg

jeriho

Buy the dip guys - I mean it BUY THE FRICKIN DIP AND STOP THE BLEEDING - I invested all my girlfriends savings because YOU GUYS TOLD ME I WILL GET RICH. When my girlfriend finds out that her money is missing I am a dead man. ;_;

uncapchad

Money is not missing, it's just waiting to grow, because the logical thing was of course to ask a bunch of random strangers for investment advice. Next time ask people on a bus/train. Whatever you do, please don't research the answers. Consistency is key.

RedditTooAddictive

All I hear is your gf is single soon, noice

jeriho

Well, she is not that great, a bit fat and in general 4/10...

CaptainDr

please tell me youre joking man this is completely degenerate and essentially stealing

jeriho

It is not stealing!!! - I borrowed it without her knowing. i wanted to give it back to her.

theshapester1980

all good man, your GF gonna be in the green big by end of year, and then she owes you, do what you will with that

jeriho

Red-pilled my friend ;)

user_name_checks_out

> all good man, your GF gonna be in the green big by end of year, and then she owes you, do what you will with that Giving off major misogynist vibes there dude.

theshapester1980

Lighten up friend, it was clearly a joke

BigFatCat9712

Ripbozo

NectarineDirect936

Forgot to take profits once more lol Ooh well, see you at the next halving. At least get some more time to accumulate more. Never been in it for the short term.

RedditTooAddictive

?? You think we won't go up before next halving? You new?

OldPyjama

There are theories that say 73k was the peak. Not saying I'm adamant that's the case, but you can't deny that it's not a far fetched theory. This time it really is different: we hit an ATH before the halving. We're in uncharted territory.

user_name_checks_out

I agree with you. I don't really place much importance on predictions, I am permanently all in on bitcoin, whatever comes. But I have had the same thought as you - we already broke the pattern by hitting an ATH before the halving, and that could be it for this cycle. That does not strike me as the most likely outcome. If I had to bet money, I would bet that bitcoin will hit a new ATH next year. But like you say, it's not outside the realm of possibility that we are done for this cycle.

viewmodeonly

Yes it is a far fetched theory

Silver-Rub-5059

If the fiat bros always sell at a miserable couple of grand over ATH this thing is fucked. Gotta hodl to wadl.

damchi

Bitcoin tourists and speculators, be careful! This is a bull trap - better sell any remaining BTC you might have.

Oheson

Bitcoin is going up forever, Sport.

Any-Coconut1991

Hahaha, enjoy your trailor park.
