Ah yes good warriors. Who routinely abandon their own, or execute their own, or even run over their own in a panic when retreating. Plenty of those clips on this sub.
That’s like saying “the SS were great warriors, politics aside.” It doesn’t really work like that.
They are there to invade and conquer. They are disrupting the lives and destroying the homes and livelihoods of countless innocent civilians who didn’t deserve it. They are killing, torturing and destroying their neighbours and their land.
The true warriors are those who took up arms to defend their families, homeland and people of Ukraine.
I’d tend to agree with this theory, when you hear that non-stop regular pattern of gunfire it’s generally for this reason (or an ambush), whereas when you’re shooting specifically at something you tend to stop when it’s either dead or disappears. It would be more sporadic I rekn
I’ve heard some pretty poo ambushes too though lol. But yeah I wasn’t trying to say this video was an ambush just saying they sound different to a normal firefight.
That's the part I don't get. There was plenty of cover between the two positions, and I seem to recall that the idea drilled in basic training was that it only takes about 3 seconds to sight, acquire and fire on a target, so you are supposed to make 2-second, short dashes.
Perhaps that's only under direct fire and they knew they weren't under direct fire until they got closer?
Psychedelic Trance, it is a sub-genre of Trance, which is a type of electronic music.

It will be downvoted, but its important for geolocation and once again confirms the fact the Russians at the aggregate plant is encircled if Ukraine is this far north. Source is a random vk channel
Channel I've been watching has been saying Ukraine has been holding the apartment complex this whole time given its central location and oversight of the town. The Russians tried flanking the complex to the west to capture the plant and encircle the apartments. Ukraine still holds the town east. If the geolocation is accurate, I believe this is an assault given the heavy gunfire. It's amazing that those buildings are still standing.
Yes & no I'd imagine, some of these clips are definitely being uploaded by the person/people who recovered it off of a body, additionally small numbers of Russian forces are probably succeeding into breaking out & moving back to friendly lines.
The third potential source is that some POW's gave up their footage for one reason or another & it gets uploaded, those are the 3 main reasons I can think of.
500 russians have been cut off for a while now. They have been desperately trying to link up and rescue them. Now Ukrainian counterattack is threatening to encircle even more. And the ruskies are getting completely slaughtered trying to maintain control
This has been ongoing for a couple weeks so far, and as with any ongoing battle solid intel is hard to come by. [Here](https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2024/06/16/trying-and-failing-to-cross-a-river-in-vovchansk-400-russian-troops-got-cut-off-now-theyre-surrendering/) Forbes reports on surrenders that occurred a couple weeks ago. These [surrenders](https://x.com/visegrad24/status/1802335832503681144) happened a few hundred meters past what Russian sources claimed to be under their control at the time.
[https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2024/06/27/the-russians-may-have-lost-an-entire-airborne-brigade-in-vovchansk/](https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2024/06/27/the-russians-may-have-lost-an-entire-airborne-brigade-in-vovchansk/) This is the most recent article I could find (2 days old).
You can see it on the Deep State map, there's a pocket of Russian control on the northern edge of the river, which is the factory complex the Russians are stranded in. Ukraine has them encircled, but as you can see from the geolocation, this video takes place only a couple of blocks from the plant.
https://x.com/Gerashchenko_en/status/1800832716062986645
They've been sending suicide motorcycles and drones to try and resupply, without mich luck. They likely will need to surrender soon. Unlike some of the places that held out for a long time, these units don't have food and ammo stockpiled, it was an offensive that overreached...
Ukrainians have been hammering them with glide bombs too, bad times for those trapped
Being out of supplies doesn't mean they can't hold out for a few days or even weeks. Even with no supplies, the human body can endure for weeks, but without water at most only three days. If I remember right at the start of the war it took about three months for the Ukrainians who were cutoff in Mariupol to surrender. From what I read, the Ukrainians are push back the Russians.
My guess is the Russians won't last much longer without an amble resupply, especially water and ammunition. Drone deliveries isn't enough for hundreds of men for a long siege. I think the Russians were hoping to resupply their trapped forces through drones as stop gap while a quick counter-attack was organized that would relieve the encircle forces. However, that seemed to have failed.
I hope the Russians get royally fucked there. Although it won't change the fact they destroyed one city more. Let them starve to death in the ruins they created.
They’re Russians so they will fight like cornered rats instead of doing the sensible thing and surrendering. I bet by this point they’re all sleeping with one eye open so they don’t find themselves on the dinner menu the next day.
This has been the state of affairs since 6/12/2024. [https://deepstatemap.live/en#15/50.2923/36.9411](https://deepstatemap.live/en#15/50.2923/36.9411)
Russians overstretched themselves by trying to take over that complex to the south of your google maps link.
The front "line" in the city is highly contested. This video shows the Russians still on the offensive towards the Ukrainian-controlled complex, even though recent reporting stated that the Ukrainians were taking offensive actions north and west from it.
Ish? Like, Russia is literally turning over their troops almost immediately. I think we're on the brink of showing a lot of responsive weakness from Russia
I’m thinking most of the fire is covering fire from their mates while they run from building to building. It’s slacks off after they get undercover and then intensifies when they move again.
just because we only see this group, doesn't mean all that fire is aimed at them.
it might be suppressing fire from their buddies, and Ukrainian fire retuned at other groups or strongholds.
And what's the ratio of bullets fired per hit again? something crazy like 40k shots per hit?
The Ukrainian are suppressed, it's not a game and you know. When rpgs and bullets are flying your ways and you've lost fire superiority you aren't poking your head. Might just be bursting against the other building, didn't see the guys running.
Where to run? You do recon, take the time to look. Actions aren't taken in seconds like a game, as your life is at stake you tend to be more careful.
Nods (Official Music Vid by Print Shoot Repeat): https://youtu.be/7TdcSox1JQA?si=N4UPZPv6KlsytF7_
I also recommend “The Glong Song” and “The HK Slap” lmao
They aren't really under fire ... you're hearing the outgoing friendly shots zipping over. If all of that was directed to them then they would have been shot to pieces trying to jog across 100+m of open ground.
Any idea on what unit or who these guys are? I see actual kits and suppressors on all their rifles so they clearly aren't the typical potato farmers conscripted from Bumfuck Egypt
Videos with recognizable buildings or locations should be accompanied by pre-war pictures showing families being proud and happy at home in Vovchansk. Or Bakhmut or Avdiivka.

To me it sounds more like most of the gunfire you hear is outgoing, suppressive fire, you can even see the hits on the buildings, most likely to keep any heads down so the dudes can make the crossing.
I would be worried that tall concrete building they burrow underneath into is ready to collapse. Just look at the way the support structures into the foundations have been eroded...
Judging by the presence of more apartment buildings to the left but no more on the right in the first few seconds after he lowers his rifle could they be assaulting the north-eastern part of the citadel of high rises and enter the apartment building at 50.29806866229114, 36.93943881003017 from across the street just east of it?
That reminds me of *One Soldier's War.* Written by a Russian veteran of the war in Chechnya, he mentioned how Russians frequently sold ammo, engine parts, even RPGs to Chechen fighters. Sometimes they got away with it, sometimes the commanders caught them but joined in, and sometimes they got caught. There's a scene in the book where two young men that get caught are strung up in a stress position and beaten till they're barely conscious. The author at one point works with another soldier to find enough ammo and other things to sell to the Chechens so he can get enough money (I can't remember exactly why, but I think it was to pay off his officer so he would stop beating him).
Had I read these things while the war in Chechnya was going on, I would have dismissed it as propaganda due to how insane it is... Russian soldiers selling ammo to their extremely brutal enemy, just so they could pay their commander to stop abusing them? It's so grim that it's funny.

BF1 atmosphere.. eat your heart out
except you don’t get to respawn
Escape from Tarkov
They’re on the Russian side so they’re bound to be pushed back.
Wishful thinking. Russians seem to be overwhelming Ukraine.
Those are good Warriors , politics aside
Ah yes good warriors. Who routinely abandon their own, or execute their own, or even run over their own in a panic when retreating. Plenty of those clips on this sub.
So running in a straight line makes one a "good warrior"? Or how do experts like you decide such things?
That’s like saying “the SS were great warriors, politics aside.” It doesn’t really work like that. They are there to invade and conquer. They are disrupting the lives and destroying the homes and livelihoods of countless innocent civilians who didn’t deserve it. Are they having fun dnd adrenaline doing this ?
BF7 better have this atmosphere.
I'm not confident dice/ea will ever put out another good battlefield game. All of the people that made the good ones are long gone
I got distinct Fallout 4 vibes
That's definitely covering fire and not directed at them.
Even so I’m still like this 💢⭕️💢⭕️💢⭕️💢⭕️
What a beautiful picture you’ve painted
I'm literally like this on the toilet watching this vid. Chicken takeaway last night 😬
However explosions are behind them and at the end of video one of them screams "there is a gunfire on us"
I’m pretty sure they say “cease fire, we’re inside” in the end of the video.
I’d tend to agree with this theory, when you hear that non-stop regular pattern of gunfire it’s generally for this reason (or an ambush), whereas when you’re shooting specifically at something you tend to stop when it’s either dead or disappears. It would be more sporadic I rekn
For ambushes you’re supposed to go cyclic for a full minute, this is simply suppressive fire and talking guns
I’ve heard some pretty poo ambushes too though lol. But yeah I wasn’t trying to say this video was an ambush just saying they sound different to a normal firefight.
After watching it, I thought the same thing. Sounded like covering fire for the next shift. But idk.
This looks just like the later Vietnam scenes in Full Metal Jacket. This is insane.
My thoughts too, in Hué City.
Hardcore man, fucking hardcore.
Pretty cool video.. sounds like a pretty wide contact zone. Gotta pucker up your butt hole when making a long dash put in the open.
That’s called IMT and is a general guideline. You’re obviously not gonna be doing up down drills in an urban environment like that lmao
Literal sounding hell. Jeeez. And here I am on my pijamas drinking hot chocolate listening to some psy trance while looking at moon outside.
So real, I’m over here eating steak and enjoying my comfy air conditioned house and cat
Im in my bed chilling in my yellow man thongs
I'm in my neon green Borat banana hammock...and.. chilling in a hammock. Hammock-ception if you will
Wild to think they're looking at the same moon 😕
Here I am getting huffy about having to take my family to Disney on ice in an hour
Psy trance works darn well with footage from this war!
Honestly it works good with everything
more like darkpsy, am i right?
And these Russians will pass away in Ukraine as invaders
What is Psy trance?
Psychedelic Trance, it is a sub-genre of Trance, which is a type of electronic music. Astrix and Shpongle are two artists who make psy trance music that I know of. Edit: Also Infected Mushroom and Astral Projection
Any recommendations?
Astrix, Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection
Astral projection is also an very interesting thing to experience.
Shpongle is a good intro
Not really trance though. Simon Posford/Hallucinogen and Raja Ram separately though do trance
Blastoyz and Vini Vici are great - look up Ozora Festival and Boom Festival
Imagine doing this only for some tails about great leader putin and aggressive west they told you on tv
I’ve gotten far better information from Reddit than anywhere else
Yeah man, comments are the real champs!
Yeah. X/Twitter is full of misinformation. Uninformed People got easily deceived there rather than here.

Are these Russians just uploading these gopro videos while encircled?
The quest for clout knows no bounds
life is temporary, but reddit karma is eternal.
You know it could be that they're paid by people to upload these. Sort of like Onlyfans, but for invaders.
You’re right, units more active on social media get more donations which means better arms and equipment
OnlyGuns?
Got to use that starlink
The Ukrainians did the same at Mauriopal,
It's the ones trying to gain positions to reach the encircled.
Remember Azov were doing it regularly while they were encircled in Azovstal for weeks.

Yeah... It's fucking everywhere it you're following the conflict.
I’ve been hearing that since Wednesday, that 500 Russians have been encircled
If they have been truly cut off for weeks how are they still holding out? They'd be out of supplies.
There's videos the russians posted themselves complaining of no food or water for the last 3 days
Links?

Good question, ignore that other childish commenter aha, I read reports that they have been using drones for some supplies
Wut? Yes they are encircled. Yes, they are getting supplied by drones. Both things can be true
I didn't imply they weren't surrounded, I was just informing how those who are surrounded were being supplied
> They'd be out of supplies. I read somewhere they are supplied with drones. Might be true, might be fiction, but I remember reading it.
They getting resupplied by drones and sometimes small groups get trough, like in the video

They literally ruined this place
Shit is so pointless man smh

Doesn't sound like the shooting was at them, possibly suppression involving others
Yeah it sounded like a lot of it was suppressing fire from their side
Imagine what it was like during D-Day, with full frontal assault against 6 miles of MG42 and artillery from both sides..
Hope they all get 200'd soon
Have they understood the message that they are not welcome there?
More problems for them if their not nvg equipped!

Full metal jacket vibe
That was what kinda came to my mind too
Wtf are Russians still doing in Ukraine.
Dying, unfortunately just not fast enough.
Videos with recognizable buildings or locations should be accompanied by pre-war pictures showing families being proud and happy at home in Vovchansk. Or Bakhmut or Avdiivka.
All for nothing …
I don’t think they want you there. Sorry to tell you.
Not heavy enough I guess
This isn't COD my dude ... Not to mention you are getting the perspective from one guy
To his point it doesn't really sound like they're under fire so much as they are near it.
if the Russian dude survived the "heavy" fire and was able to get back to base and upload the video, I stand by my comment that the fire wasn't heavy enough.
This was outgoing fire. Suppressive fire.
I mean it's unfortunate that he or any others wasn't hit. But the reality is that tens of thousands of small arms rounds are expended for each soldier killed generally.
i see videos like these with the low light and it make me think how crazy the world wars
It’s enlightening to see actual combat footage from Ukraine/russia instead of same ole same ole drone stuff
This is amazing footage
That’s probably gonna be us all one day.
Ugh, they all survived.
Under heavy fire isnt the word I'd use for this lol

What a stride. That was no walk in the park I bet that felt like eternity
Snipers dream
It’s like that scene from Children of Men.

5 Am it's 5 Am
To me it sounds more like most of the gunfire you hear is outgoing, suppressive fire, you can even see the hits on the buildings, most likely to keep any heads down so the dudes can make the crossing.
That sounds like cover fire ....
From dusk till dawn. Zombies are running.
How on earth they differentiate between enemy or not? It’s fucking dark, this applies for both side & blue band or red band doesn’t really noticeable
I would be worried that tall concrete building they burrow underneath into is ready to collapse. Just look at the way the support structures into the foundations have been eroded...
I don't think they were targeted or fired at all in that video
are they under heavy fire? I didn't see any nearby impacts.
It’s the cover. Once reached the building they started screaming “cease fire, we’re inside”.
They are meat waves!
Imagine how Stalingrad was!
Wish something would land close to these bozos.
No thanks
Judging by the presence of more apartment buildings to the left but no more on the right in the first few seconds after he lowers his rifle could they be assaulting the north-eastern part of the citadel of high rises and enter the apartment building at 50.29806866229114, 36.93943881003017 from across the street just east of it?
Need to donate more for FPV drones… to make more good ruskies

That reminds me of *One Soldier's War.* Written by a Russian veteran of the war in Chechnya, he mentioned how Russians frequently sold ammo, engine parts, even RPGs to Chechen fighters.
