It doesn’t matter if that’s in the movie or not, that’s not the point. It’s how Corenswet looks in every picture so far and the Energie he gives off. Why can’t I and other enjoy this and be excited for what’s coming?

this is kind of ridiculous over-hyping is basically the same experience as when Man of Steel was filming and I don't think any of us want to foster that kind of interest around Superman again.
God forbid there‘s some positivity and optimism surrounding a new Superman. It’s a DC movie, people have and will shit on it all the time.
So I’d like to share my enthusiasm for the things I personally like. And it happens that so far I think Corenswet looks great in the suit and gives off a vibe I’d like for Superman.
Positivity and optimism are fine, I'm not expecting anyone on a DCULeaks sub to deride the movies, I would certainly hope people are more open minded than that. But that's not what I was calling out, it's not that you can't be excited, I am very very excited for this movie. But it's best to hold back expectations until we see some actually officially released stuff.
Brightburn is a terrible movie and Gunn's hands were all over it, he is not infallible and similarly proven directors have been historically met with skepticism when it comes to DC stuff. In many ways this has been the strength of being into the DC movies, the members of the mother sub weren't sycophants who drool at everything they see. When that does become the case, such as SnyderBros, they were often derided and mocked.
I think it would just be best if we left the crying and screaming and drooling for when they show us a trailer, or some character posters, stuff that actually indicates what they movie will at least end up looking like.
I like how much of the cape we’re seeing. Not once have we seen a shot where there are two motion tracking dots on his shoulders where his cape would be.

Yeah, I've seen the guy in other things. I think he's closer to Brandon Routh in terms of presence than Reeve, Reeves, or Cavill. But if everything around him is right and the movie is good, it'll elevate him.
The color is fine. I got no problem with the color. It's the fact it looks like he's wearing a padded motorcycle racing suit a size or two too big that bothers me.
