Before the dark times. Before the New 52.
It really was. There was no good reason to end it either. I’ve heard every complaint about this look for Tim as well as the Red Robin name, and frankly I’m not convinced by any of them.
It was the last time he had any direction as a character beyond his love life and dating the most boring man in any super hero universe.
This Tim Drake needs to come back.
Red Robin was Tim at his best as a fighter and as a tactician. New 52 ruined this or it likely would've kept going another few years. Shame.
Red Robin discs > Batrangs
Not as cool as R shurikens or birdarangs.
They need to bring this suit back
It's copyrighted. By a man.
If only so Steph can diss him about dressing like Dr. Mid-Nite again.

DC fumbled on everything after post crisis he was such a peak character. Rebirth was cool a bit, but nothing has been the same.
And the ultimate compliment: Ra's addresses Tim as "Detective" at the end of this exchange.
This is where Tim becomes the 2ND person Ra's refers to as "detective".

I love how Rā’s is on first name basis with them and also for those who don’t know: Tim is the only other person Rā’s calls Detective.
Both Dick and Jason have been called Detective by Ra’s. Dick was even called Detective before Tim was.
