The power went out all over Anaheim. We were in line for smugglers run and everything went dark. Mother was at the hotel across the street from Disneyland and power went out. It came on withing a couple minutes but a handful of rides were still down. Star wars rides, pirates, Indiana, etc. Everything is back up and running now. Nothing Disneyland could do about it.

Then why did the power go out at the Tropicana inn (which is directly across the street from the front entrance) at the exact same time for the exact same length of time as it did in Disneyland? You are 150% wrong.
The power can still have an outage but they will shut down rides to prevent them. Doesn’t mean unexpected outages don’t still happen. I’ve worked on a ride that’s had that call and had to clear the ride.

No I live in Phoenix. Been here 10 years and the power has never gone out on me or anyone in my neighborhood

We were eating at Cafe Orleans and the power went off for a quick second. Most rides went down on that side of the park.
