I used a dpm recoil spring with a Harrington comp. The recoil spring got stuck in the comp and I had to cut my grip module and recoil spring to remove the slide. The recoil spring worked great before adding the comp.
Sprinco recoil system - springs are non-captured so you can swap them easily for what you’re shooting. Smooths out the cycling and makes the dot easier to track. Obviously grip and all that is primary but the cycling change/feel is a huge improvement to my 17.4
I used an agency arms gen 4 comp on my Shadow Systems with the stock spring. One of the main selling points of the comp was no spring change needed. Plus it is about as flush to the slide as I can get compensator wise outside of a Shadow Systems comp.
You’d probably end up liking a 13lb or a 15lb spring, but there are too many variables to spoon feed what you need. Ammo choice, compensator efficiency, slide weight, rail friction being that it’s a P80 build,…etc.

So do you think it would kick less with just a comp or the spring?
Why change a spring before you’ve added the comp and tested the ammo you use regularly in it??
Cause I want an option with less recoil
I think a comp works a little better than the spring but with a comp your adding length and weight.
Btw beautiful piece!
I added the comp with the dpm just because I liked the way it looked lol

Is that a dragonfly slide?
Zaffiri precision
Oh nvrmnd.... Mines a zev dragonfly..... I've never seen another one
One Off Coasting Chub comp with stock oem spring. Zero reliability issues and at least 15-20% flatter shooting
