I would suggest legion for superior build quality, cooling and community support.
battery life will depend on your usage.
Legion also has battery related features like smart charging and stuff .
I would go for the Legion for the slightly longer battery life, higher refresh rate, and way better aftersales and support. Cant really go wrong with either I suppose, although if battery life is really a concern I wouldn't even begin to consider a 'gaming' laptop.
Legion is the clear winner here, there's no reason you should be getting the victus over it. Way better screen, better cooling, better build quality, better tdp for the GPU and legion laptops are more durable compared to the victus.
With appropriate measures(changing refresh rate, using hybrid mode, reducing screen brightness slightly and killing unnecessary background tasks) you'll get decent battery backup on normal usage with the legion (3-5 hrs depending on your usage)
Beem using legion 5 for two years now without issues. Got one service with repasting done recently as it was starting to heat up( as laptops usually do after sometime)
Go with any laptop u like but don't ever go with HP Victus...I am using it and it has given me lots n lots of issue since 2 years, and the issue is not related to software, its all about build issue which is very cheap
Thanks for the tip man. I was thinking about getting a victus at first, but some reviews left a bad taste in my mouth. Bought a legion 5 couple of months ago and I've gotta say it's a beast. Easily runs all games at high fps
In legion you can get 7% student discount, 10,000 credit card cashback and 4800 Cashkaro cashback so it only costs 85k after that
Oh wow thanks the info. How can I avail the student discount
