I've had it happen with smaller items. They legally can't make you return the item that was misdelivered but that's a whole other can of worms. But generally it's up to the company behind the claim if they want to resend. Usually they just cut the loss and remove you from the program.
I got the wrong style once. It was the same thing but not the pattern I ordered. I was told to review it but not to mention that it wasn’t what I ordered in my review. I ended up giving it a mediocre review because I didn’t like it, but would probably have loved the one I picked. It was an AirPod chain and I ordered a cute dainty one from Anne Klein, and ended up with a fat gold tone chain from Steve Madden.
This was through TryIt so idk what Influenster would do in that situation. But I was sent the wrong rug once. Contacted them explained the situation said I was fine with just reviewing the own I was sent. But they wanted to fix it; except they sent the same wrong rug again lol. Contacted them again being like "well you won't believe this, it's seriously fine ect ect." But third time's the charm and I got the correct rug.
Not the wrong item, but I just received a duplicate light fixture today to the one I received yesterday. They both had my address but the one today has someone else’s name. Reached out to Influenster to let them know.
Wait for Influenster to give you instructions on the next plan of action. My husband and I have both received wrong items before, sometimes, they just ask you to review what you got instead and they will update the review to reflect what you actually received. Sometimes they will redeliver the correct item and they don’t ask you to return the wrong one.
My fridge died last night at 9pm. and i honestly believe it heard me talking about how nice the side by side fridge is with pull out drawer at bottom around 8:30pm. although i know that is impossible. i have hopes to get that mistaken fridge delivery too
