Could try tape. Try different taping techniques to pull that front skin down. Or gentle traction on the nail to encourage it to get pushed out.

Did you ever get this resolved? Half of my toe is red and swollen from this and I’m wondering if there’s any hope besides removing the entire nail at this point.
