Shit man.. that is a tough one. I’ve never taken one of those apart. But I guess try to put it back where you think it went. Or don’t put it in at all if everything is accounted for. If it’s important. That pump will be pissing fluid and you will know you need to find a spot for that oring. Lol.
Speaking of o ring. Is that not the oring that is on the high pressure line? Maybe that’s a possibility
Power steering. Sorry forgot to include in title. Just found an o ring pinched between the shaft and bearing seal. Wasn’t sure where it came from. According to diagram all my o rings are accounted for. Not sure if this pulley’s shaft is suppose to have an o ring. Every video I’ve watch I can’t tell if there is…
*UPDATE* looking through Haynes manual, I’m certain this was just an o ring that I either misplaced or forgot to dispose… I’ll put my pump back together and cross my toes. Thank you all for your responses.
I’ve watch this video, https://youtu.be/ik_QhSsDENs?si=q0q8WaFcytHptMds,1000 times and can’t tell where this o ring is from. I got it out cause I saw it pinched between the shaft and bearing seal when I was putting the power steering back together
Did you disassemble a power steering pump?
Yes, sorry. I’m resealing it
Holy shit bro. You got balls. 12,15 or 13 Nobody on YouTube has took one apart?
Haha it’s a project car so.. can’t hurt to try. I watche a video but I couldn’t see where this o ring was.. 12,13,15 all accounted for

Yea I already checked that… I counted all the new ones rings I swapped out so I’m confused where this came from
Shit. Mount that thing up and see 🫣
😂 I’m scared now
It’s because it’s easy as shit
What are we looking at? Parts wise.

I think it’s a ls power steering pump disassembled
Exactly what it is

Maybe where the high pressure line attaches?
That one’s accounted for
It was me. I put that extra o ring on your bench to mess with you
Lmfao. I wish it was. Just not sure if the shaft has any o rings. Can’t find any pics of the shaft by it self
Sometimes rebuild kits come with extras
I used all of the ones the rebuild kit came with. I wonder if there is an o ring on the shaft. Can’t find any diagram or blueprint of the shaft.
My guess is something like that
Weird I can’t find it on the Haynes manual…
If your return line nozzle only has one bolt then it uses an O-ring if it has two bolts, it does not use an O-ring
And next time, take pictures as you disassemble
👍
Just disconnect your power steering. There, problem solved.
😂
It goes on the nozzle for the return line
