Are they just basing it on goals and assists? He's part of a defence that's conceded 55 goals this season. It should've been Pack or NML, Burrows shouldn't be in the conversation, only won it because he scored 2 goals from keeper howlers in the Pizza/BDSM cup final
3/6 goals have been penalties. His assists sure is a good tally, but the amount of goals conceded and the fact he's a defender should mean he probably shouldn't win POTS.
I mean tbf I agree, shouldn't have been POTS because of the goals conceded just saying I think that's why he was there, obviously all what ifs but should have so many more with chances missed as well
How do Peterborough have the POTY and YPOTY (both of which are very good talents btw) and yet are fourth? Surely Marlon Pack or Mendez Laing should’ve won it- and if Collins won it last year, Alfie May in a similarly shit team should’ve won it this year
May I was shocked wasn't shortlisted. Spent a good 3 months of the season under Appleton playing RW too and still scores 27 goals. We'd be comfortably relegated without him.
May almost single handedly kept two shit Cheltenham teams up and has done a massive job for yous this year. Hope to watch him in a promotion contender next year
I hope we're a promotion contender. If we can sort out our chronic inability to keep clean sheets then I think Jones will put something together.
We're just a charity this season to players that haven't scored for ages.
4th can still have good players? It’s a team game.
Youngest squad in the top four leagues have outperformed what was expected to be a mid table season.
Tbh Harrison shouldn’t have won POTS but Ronnie Eds was most deserving of YPOTS. Definitely plays above League One level.

Agree he shouldn't have won it but the amount he's provided from Left Back in G/A is still very impressive, that's what's got him the nomination.

Don't forget his 2 he scored in the semi-final of the pizza cup aswell! GO ON LAD WHAT A SEASON
It was based on just goals and assists last season, so would assume so. Nobody is watching most of the 40+ games each player plays in league one

Peterborough winning all the awards directly after being lumped 5-0 by Oxford is pretty funny
Don’t underestimate the DMAC and DF pr machine!
He’ll talk about it in his podcast in between being weirdly right wing and wanting government money for his private enterprise.
They even put a picture of Edwards playing against Oxford in his winners' photo. They did Ronnie dirty.
lmao not even our top 3 players
just out of interest who would you pick above those 2,(dont say randall dont say randall) edwards for sure probably collins
edwards, collins, emc/hector then burrow’s probably too defensively weak still
forgot about hector haha
Alfie may not even being nominated is absolutely mystifying
You’d think it’d be more impressive to be the leagues top scorer when you’re part of a bottom half team.
cashin/NML robbed
I’m biased ofc but should’ve been Pack
Who?
Harrison Burrows... I mean it's right there in the title son.
