I was in that mob on the pitch after the game and I'm still not sure. Maybe in june when the Championship fixture list comes out with us in it I'll start to believe.
Mostly joking tbf but it's still doesn't quite feel real yet lol
As I said on r/championship the other day , congrats on escaping the absolute drudge of League 1 and all those times you think you're going to get out only for it to pull you back in. Although it looks like Corey Blackett-Taylor will be following you with Derby to decide to be prime Ronaldo for 2 games a season.
As a Sussex based Charlton fan I'm going to miss the trips to FP (unless it's the Carabao or a friendly)
Buzzing for them. Remember when we played them last season and you could tell they were starting to build something under Mousinho. Can see them taking to the championship well.
Well done lads
This season felt very un Portsmouth. What a team, just never know when they're beat.
Good luck to everyone else on getting out of this league. Hopefully see you up there (and that it's at least another decade before I post in this sub)
Thrilled for them, nice to see Lang make such a good contribution to the title push as well. Will be interesting to see if he steps up at Championship level this time.
Honestly, I think championship is exactly where we belong. A trip to the prem every decade or so would be lovely but we're a mid level 2nd tier team and that's ok.
This team has been something else all season, just no quit in them! All of those long term injuries, Poole, Robertson, Lowery, Morrell etc. Mousinho and the rest of the management team have done an incredible job.
Watch this - Pompey boy and captain puts in the corner for Shaughnessy to score a last minute winner for the title. SCENES: https://x.com/andywarner88/status/1780343316506173884?s=46
First of all I wanna thank the lord and saviour John mousinho
Secondly I wanna say good luck to everyone left in this fucking shit league it will suck the life out of you and grip you harder than the girl who gave you her first hand job.
Goodbye forever (maybe a year) I love you all but I hate this fucking tough as a council estate slapper league
They deserve to be.
Latics did something similar after winning league one a few years back. Fielded the youth team the following game and got turned over.
Back where we rightfully belong. Bottom 6 of the second division.
Cannot wait to get dry humped every week and celebrate a final day 0-0 draw with Huddersfield like we’ve won the champions league.
I'm sure Portsmouth fans still aren't sure if they'll go up or not
Not over until the season finishes 🤣
Too true. But fuck me, it’s good to have it certain
I won't be sure until I see us playing in the championship next season.

Just found myself triple checking the maths!
Idk man, if we lose our last games, Derby get another 9 points and Bolton get 12 points from their last 2 games we’re done for.
Its far from guaranteed ^(we get 100 points)
Just gotta not pay players or play an ineligible player. Go into admin
Yeah thoroughly deserved. Easily the most well rounded team in the league. 4 defeats in 44 is insane.
Let’s be honest, 6 defeats in 46 would be insane. What a season.
Tears in my eyes. HMS Piss the League has docked. What a season. What a club.

A Charlton fan missing the trips and not the guaranteed points?
The guaranteed points are merely a bonus. Not losing to us this season must have been a sign you were finally going to do it ;)

*hoooopefulllly* we get to see a Saints-Pompey derby next season. Hopefully.
*Scum
Get thee to the beach, you’ve earned it.
👀
Congrats Pompey. Fingers crossed we see you next year.
Fair play lads 👏

Honestly he’s been one of my favourites. Has proper got into it since being whre
Congratulations, Portsmouth!
And we almost beat them both times. Funny game this football lark. Congrats to getting closer to where you belong Pompey

I was at both of those games and we were shocking both times. You fully deserved the points you took off us.

Congratulations! Can’t begrudge them winning at all, fully deserved
Congrats lads, what a fantastic season and worthy champions. Fingers crossed for another trip to Fratton Park next season 🤞🏼
Of course we would win the league the only way Pompey would, from behind twice haha
Congrats Mous! In my FM21 save, he ended up leading Wolves to 2 PL titles, so watch this space lol.
Congrats, deserved after a great season.

Congratulations to Portsmouth, well deserved and best team in the league.
Congrats Portsmouth!
Let us know how many goals do you need on the last game of the season and we’ll see what we can do.
🤝
Congrats and all that please don't come back we don't want more 3-0 losses
Best day ever!!!!! it's been a long ride.
Wounded with the 89th minute goal but congrats Pompey been on top form this season
It's finally happened! FINALLY!!!

Well done Pompey, well deserved.
Nice one lads. That's an away trip I shant be missing next season. Proper oldschool ground and proper atmosphere.
Congrats!!! 🥳
Well done! What a team they are, would love to see them do an Ipswich!
Beautiful, and way they let us on pitch is one on reasons we such a special club
The best day of my fucking life. Ever.
Well done lads, absolutely smashed it :)
HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK
Well deserved. I'm so happy for mous
Well done lads, hopefully see you again next season!
Genuinely never thought this day would come
Congratulations, Pompey! You should celebrate and take the rest of the season off! Probably field your reserves on Saturday.
Judging by the celebrations last night, I think whoever we field will still be hungover on Saturday.

Well done Pompey, if not on the pitch on the day, their fans were fantastic at the Valley
