After I put on lip balm I use a lip primer from Anastasia Beverly Hills or Mac and the primar definitely helps the liner and lipstick go on smoother and stay on longer
You might love a good liquid lipstick. I've found quite a few that stay on a long time (longer than the lipstick in a tube), don't transfer to clothes, and don't get on my partner when we kiss. Here are some of my favorites: stila stay all day fiery, Maybelline super stay vinyl in lippy, Natasha denona matte liquid lipstick in Eva, Dior rouge forever liquid 720.
I use a little gloss after lunch to perk them back up or I reapply a little in the center of my lips. Quick and easy. I fully remove them at night with some Vaseline.
Edit: I also try to do thin lip liner if I wear it. I've noticed they tend to smudge and have a hard time finding ones that are kiss proof
Thanks for sharing your recommendations! Maybelline super stay matte has been by far the best and long-lasting liquid lipstick I have come across. It’s even better than my high-end liquid lipsticks.
I’ll try to not do as much lip liner the next time I do my lipstick and see if it makes a difference. I’m also thinking that sticking strictly to matte lipliner might help, too.
