Happy to see I'm not the only one who think that the earth is not flat, but plate. And that we are just like a petri box for giant extra terrestrial, waiting for us to reproduce until they can finally eat us!
Why did I say it? Because it's a very low quality 'map' that doesn't deserve to be submitted to a subreddit about high quality or beautiful maps.
This is literally trash, and I have the right to say I think it's low quality. This person submitted the image for feedback and should expect that not all feedback will be positive.
Not sure where they went looking for feedback (if you can even call it that it was more an insult that you would only call someone from behind a screen acting like you have big bollocks) seems to me like they posted something because they were 'proud' of it and logically went to a map subreddit. it says high quality images of maps yes but quality is a broad phrase - definition: 'the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind'. Quite clearly this map is better quality than most other people's plate maps if they attempted it.
At the end of the day if you think that was an appropriate thing to say then so be it but you are a right prick for saying it and maybe you should think about the effect it may have on others. If your intention was to give feedback perhaps you could have said it in a less bullish way e.g. 'this map could be improved by adding \_\_\_\_' rather than calling it in effect shit.
Also remember it is a plate. Its not meant to be complicated - most plates have no design or a printed one for a reason.
That and they have mentioned that their brush isn't fine enough for the other details which hopefully you are smart enough to realise that its because its a plate not an A1 canvas
