if reincarnation is real (which I think it is and I know I canāt choose), but I want to be one of those dogs that knows how to dance and stare in my humanās eyes like they were the most important soul on this planet.
Calliope or Cali for short (kuh-lie-o-pee)
Wiki : "theĀ MuseĀ who presides overĀ eloquenceĀ andĀ epic poetry; so called from theĀ ecstaticĀ harmonyĀ of her voice.Ā HesiodĀ andĀ OvidĀ called her the "Chief of all Muses".[1"
Had a dog that looked very much like this. He did not like the names I picked, so I said the street name on the way from the pound. He responded as Forrest for 14 years.
Keeva or spell it Kiva. Pronounced Key-va
It's an Irish name that means Beautiful and kind.
She is beautiful.
Whatever name you chose, for training purposes you want the name to be no more than 2 syllables.
Have fun with her and reward her with a small treat if she's food motivated, or let her have a toy you are holding. Praise her when she comes when you call her name. Positive reinforcement is the key to training a dog. Huskies are very smart and have a mind of their own. They can take a bit more patience when training them. Persistent and consistent training is a must. Establish yourself as Alpha. Sorry...all you asked for was a name and I kind of went off onto another whole topic. I've just seen an increase in the number of huskies and huskyX ending up in the shelter. Often because the owner had no idea how to train their dog who then develops some bad or destructive behaviors.
Ask her. Keep trying different names until she responds to it. That's what we've done with all our foster dogs if they don't respond to the name we were told it was.
When I adopted my kelpie, rip, the shelter named him Fabian. I didnāt like it and he didnāt answer to it, so I asked if he had a prior name. He did, but they couldnāt call him that as there was already another Fletcher at the shelter, so I gave him his name back! Maybe ask the shelter if she had a non shelter name?
I think you should ask her what name she likes best. See how she reacts..

Whatever her name, she's beautiful. I've got a rescue with the watcher eye š (that one blue). Congratulations on your new addition š¾ ā¤ļø
Wow, she looks like a less fluffy version of my dog lol. Like other people said, I would try different names and see if she responds or pick a name and keep using it, and eventually, it will stick.
We had the same problem with our rescue. No response AT ALL to the name given to him by animal control. I got really tired of him ignoring me, so one night I sat on the kitchen floor with him , and staring with the letter "A" I went through every name I could think of. Then "B" names, "C" names etc. Including all typical dog names, of course!
When I got to "G" I cycled through Gary, Etc. When I got to the name "Guy" he literally leapt up and barked with seeming joy.
No problems since. Time consuming but worth it!
