I wish Yuzu had graphics packs like Cemu that could be updated with the click of a button. That way we wouldn't have to go searching for new mods every time the game gets updated. Maybe someday.
I totally don't understand the people that exploit glitches. I mean ... it's obviously a unintended mechanic, at this point it's on the same level as cheating. If that's the way you want to play, why not straight use cheats / save editors? Why bother exploiting a glitch?
Edit: ok, I apologize, I realized that a glitch is indeed useful
Many reasons. It can be fun finding and learning them, as many are hard to perform. It also can be interesting to a glimpse behind the curtain and see how things work.
Also glitches like these can be performed with an unmodified switch. No need for external tools to cheat. Especially in late game the economy of the game is just broken. If you want to upgrade every armor in the game, you need like 7000 items. Basically impossible without glitches or cheats. This is a single player game. If someone wants to cheat, it's their choice.
And last but not least, many people like speedrunning. And glitches are the bread and butter of most speedruns. Because of that many runs are performed on older versions where certain glitches haven't been patched yet.
It may be, but I believe that most people (gamers) today prefer to ignore the challenge of the game. As if he had no patience. Proof of this is having just started the game and already running to Youtube to see better builds, how to make a megazord, all the locations of secrets on the map, etc. However, I understand that fun comes in different ways for different people. I still cherish the challenge of trying to discover and understand things for myself, solving difficulties only with what the game proposes.
Many people are working 40h a week, have school, friends and maybe even kids. Who has the time to play all these games, yet all these gigantic open world games? If they save time on the grind and so have a chance to enjoy these games, then why not?
It's a single player game. Who gives a crap about how others play?
I understand that point, but it depends on each one. I'm 38 years old, I work and I've studied a lot. yet in the little time I had, I loved challenging myself in games like Metal Gear Solid playing without raising an alarm, or before that, looking for DKs in Donkey Kong 2 on the emulator. It really depends on each one. But I believe that most of those looking for facilities are not even people who work, they are young people who grew up with YouTube open in case of difficulties.
Grind is part of life. You grind every day without realizing it. (work is a grind, study is a grind)
Now, you can even argue that you already do it in real life and you don't want to do it in a game because it makes it massive. But for me this grind is very light (I've played Black Desert for years and that's a massive grind). At Tokt I'm doing the temple of the wind little by little. Did you run out of pepper to make food to warm up? No problem, I go to other places while waiting for the peppers to respawn in some places on the map that I already know where they are. It's not hard work for me.
Who cares?
Seriously, the hell does it matter? This game is not a competitive game, it's not multiplayer, it's single player. People have been cheating and exploiting in single player games since games have existed. This is not suddenly new behavior. They do it because they find it fun and they want to do it.
I LIKED YOU PIXELKIRI, I USE YOUR 60 fps 2 gb mod which i think everyone deleted after the 60fps cutscne kilobyte fix but this, this paragraph of yours, ARGHHHHH!!!!!!! TAKE IT BACK! cheating in a singleplayer game is fun and totally understandable since its a SINGLEPLAYER game where everyone can play at their own pace. You have to apologize NOW for thinking otherwise!
jeez. ok then, I'll reconsider :D
So, don't take me wrong. I'm not completely against cheats. I was debating that, since cheats are already available, exploiting glitches is somewhat tedious. What I was ignoring was the fact that people are also playing the game on stock Switch, where cheats aren't available
I totally agree with you. While I understand that everyone does what they want and plays how they want, FOR ME the fun is tied to the challenge. Glitches and hacks take that away (AGAIN, FOR ME). It's like saying, "You're not capable of playing the way the game was made."
I lose all my karma on these comments because people don't accept others' point of view, even though I say in capslock that it's just mine, that I'm not condemning anyone. Anyway, I don't care xD. Freedom of expression is worth lost karma.
I stand by my opinion. If I have to choose between exploiting a glitch, and applying a cheat, I would gladly use the cheat, because I'm playing on an emulator. I have nothing against using either one. Personally, I don't use cheats, unless the game is unfairly hard, or it just feels like bad design. I edited the post because I completely ignored some use cases (playing on unmodded Switch).
If it was just for the downvotes, I would have just removed it
Sure, I understand, I explained in my other response. I am not against cheats. I was debating cheats vs glitch exploits, and I was not taking all use cases into consideration
Just because it worked for you doesn't mean it does for everyone though. My machine is pretty high-end, yet I hang around 50 FPS on 60% usage (in both HWMonitor and task manager), not even close to having temperature issues. Turning up the graphics to match my native display resolution (should be 2X for 1440p displays) makes the game unplayable, so not useless at all, some of us depend on the mods to make the game playable whilst not looking like hot garbage :)
Yeah but that's my highs, average is around 38 , and even that wouldn't be a problem at all for me personally, if it didn't fluctuate so much so fast, because that's what makes the immersion awful, noticing the stutters
I had 5 people so fast on Reddit ask me how to get a game lol.
I mean I don't mind helping at all but yeah definitely a record for me for a single game.
This is bursting down the walls for emulation
Wrong. This patch fixes getting stuck in main story quests that prevents players from advancing. My girlfriend is stuck in her save because "Camera Work In The Depths" is bugged. This patch fixes it. I hope mods get updated to 1.1.2
Well if that's the case it's okay, we can dupe our weapons on save editor tool from GitHub anyways i don't see the point ppl ranting about it when everyone in this sub are emulating the game and they can easily do this stuff

Someone should at least make a mod manager
Nexus manager, all the mods just need to be out on there and you can auto update them
*bruh*
I'm a little lost here. What's wrong with nexus manager?
NMM is the worst, by a long shot, and it isn’t even *kind of* compatible with this game. The file type isn’t supported. Your suggestion makes no sense
Got it thanks
Someone just made a mod manager and posted it here I think today
I did a search around for it. If you know where can you link it please
Sure, In a few minutes I’ll try and find it for you :)
You're an angel, and a saint.
Lmk if that’s it

Saved, I'll look after my nap <33
I heard it fixes the easy dupe glitch. So pretty sure many people won't switch.

>unmodified switch oooh, good point. didn't take this into consideration

There is no challenge in a grind.

I just did it for max battery because it would be WAY too grindy to get it legit
Have some balls and stand by your opinion. Don't change it because you're getting downvoted
I stand by my opinion. If I have to choose between exploiting a glitch, and applying a cheat, I would gladly use the cheat, because I'm playing on an emulator. Ppl enjoy it and it doesn't affect others
Sure, I understand, I explained in my other response. I am not against cheats. I was debating cheats vs glitch exploits, and I was not taking all use cases into consideration
i finish my game with 1.1.0 no update totally useless when it works, we leave it like that ! ;)
Same here. All my mods and settings are working just fine. Not playing with that. XD
Just because it worked for you doesn't mean it does for everyone though. 50fps isnt bad tho
Yeah but that's my highs, average is around 38 , and even that wouldn't be a problem at all for me personally, if it didn't fluctuate so much so fast, because that's what makes the immersion awful, noticing the stutters
Modders* smh
Honest question, is this the first time modding a game for a lot of people here?
Tons of noobs emulating for the first time I'm noticing
is the first time emulating something for many people, had to teach 3 close friends
I had 5 people so fast on Reddit ask me how to get a game lol. I mean I don't mind helping at all but yeah definitely a record for me for a single game. This is bursting down the walls for emulation
I’ve tried before but people have always beat me to release. This is my first time actually having this many downloads
Im just happy that my xbox and dualsense UIs are not affected by this and works great haha. Imagine having to update 14 layouts because of this :-0
Im not installing that shit. They fucking fixed the dup glitches.
Lmao they fixed it cause dupe glitch, nothing more, just stay on 1.1.1
Wrong. This patch fixes getting stuck in main story quests that prevents players from advancing. My girlfriend is stuck in her save because "Camera Work In The Depths" is bugged. This patch fixes it. I hope mods get updated to 1.1.2

You can or will be able to use cheats for this... In any case you are contradicting your original comment
Realized about the existence of a save editor so no issues anymore, just waiting until mods (the ones i use) get updated to 1.1.2.
what i read not worth it, and if you like to duplicate you are screwed when updating so imo hard pass
I don't think they will because 1.1.2 fixes the dupe glitch.
Bro people really like breaking games and cheating don´t they It´s kinda pathetic
not good new because nintendo maybe fixed glitch

Who hurt you?

I don't live on Reddit, you shouldn't also, just ignore it lol
Stay on 1.1.0 boys unless you want grievances.
MODER HEAD
Forgive my ignorance but how do I update the game to the latest version on YuZu? Thanks in advance.
