I know a lot about D&D so I'll probably go straight to Waterdeep, and see what events have happened. I'd do well on Toril for a year I think.
But if im just stuck in the story of BG3, I'm kind of screwed because I'm just a commoner statblock. I know the story, so I'd have to amass a bunch of tadpoles so I don't just die. If I can't become a warlock based on my knowledge of HP Lovecraft, I'd have to have a conversation with Will and maybe me and his patron could work out something, but unlike Will, I'd be reading that contract top to bottom and I'd immediately take an oath to gain a level in paladin. I'd be doing all I could to
1. Survive
2. See if I could bring back one of my companions to the real world
3. Make sure Gale ascends and becomes a God
4. Become an ilithid ASAP to hedge my bets against dying.
