Yup. Been listening to the album since it was released in the 70's where I was still in school (ya am old now, sigh), and it is still one of my favorite top 10 albums ever.
IF you grew up in Milwaukee and listened to the radio at all, you knew Supertramp. I'm not necessarily a fan and I can recite the lyrics verbatim, 40 years later.
No idea what the connection is but at least 2 FM stations would play about 10 Supertramp songs at least every other hour, every single day. I’m pretty sure if I tuned into WKLH for an hour I’d hear something.
Saw them in St. Louis just two years before this video. It coincided with the release of Even In The Quietist Moments. One of the very best live shows I've ever seen. Theater was less than half full, and it was only a 4,200 seat venue. Utterly ridiculous. A lot of people I knew back then weren't really into them. I was a big fan, had 4 of their 5 albums that were out at that time, and had a Supertramp T-shirt I wore out. Great memory.
Logical Song is one of best songs that never gets old. It resonated with me thirty eight years ago when I first heard it and it resonates with my kids even today. The whole album is fantastic.
Only band other than the Grateful Dead that I followed the tour (‘79). Caught Portland, Seattle and Spokane. Was on my first road bike and had horrible weather. Rain, snow and wind the whole time. Definitely worth it though.
This whole album is great.
Best live performance ever, IMO.

It is, it's an incredible album. It really brings me back.
Good I love supertramp, Roger Hodgson is a gem

Yes! Grew up in Milwaukee, know all of their popular songs too! I’m 42…
I’m out of the loop: what connection does Supertramp have to Milwaukee? Also, I love Milwaukee. Great beer, great food, great coffee.

Man I miss when music was good. Yeah yeah yeah I'm going to bed
I love that Gypsy waltz vibe with the clarinet. Classic

So good
I wore this 8 track out! Great album.
Homer Simpson saying “the rise of Supertramp, the candidacy of John Anderson, it was an exciting time to be alive!”
Favourite band for sure
Supertramp/Rush supergroup would be mind blowing
So good. And that rock clarinet…

The last great album of the 70’s 🎹🎷
This song sounds very similar to another song but I can’t think of what it would be…
Gym Class Heroes - Cupid's Chokehold is the one you're thinking of
Sorry to be obtuse but I don’t get the reference.
Loved the 80s, take me back for another go at it.
