Fuck no. It's like bingewatching The Office crossed with chatting shit with old mates. It's comfortable, familiar, low stress & it gives me a few chuckles here & there.
It's why we've all been listening for over a decade.
It’s my comfort podcast, I know what I’m getting every week and I listen to podcasts while I’m working so having a 4 hour podcast for a Monday morning makes the day go much quicker
The first paragraph reads like a post from r/atheism from 10 years ago lol
PKA demands very little attention in order to follow along, especially when you’ve been listening for years, and that’s kind of what I like about it. Listening to PKA is to me a lot like watching a good tv show that you’ve seen before. You can game, workout, work etc with it going in the background and it’s very entertaining in that context
No. It used to be funny at least. Now I fast forward through a lot of it. Mainly when Kyle is rambling about nothing meaningful. Kyle kicked the guy who made PKA special off and it has never been the same since. It just became the lesbian book club like Shoenice said.
All i'm asking is for 30 minute - 1 hour of some kind of planned content by the boys. Like Taylor's bible story, the conspiracy power points, etc - some kind of planned topic that had at least an hour or two worth of thought put into it prior to the show. Hell, they can even make is easy and something low effort that they can mail in every week once they get used to it. They need something to spark interesting conversations
It's strange. There are honestly a few things I learn from the show. Sometimes one of the hosts will drop an odd pearl and it will trigger me to look further into something I'm interested in. They are also great conversationalists, and I steal jokes and takes from the show on occasion to spice up my own conversations. Other than that, this show is like junk food. Pleasurable to consume, but not substantive.
I don't listen to PKA for information or news, just to chill and have a chuckle and some beers after work for the week. Usually have it going in the background while gaming or doing house work.
Absolutely not

This is the Truth.
Gotta keep an eye on that information diet
big ups xjawz. shout out adderall.
lmfao bro
You’ve got me listening to that episode for a 4th time now lol. Episode 161 for those who haven’t seen it, it’s a must watch
I literally listen to this show as a comic break between what are typically much more mentally stimulating podcasts. This is not an educational show 😂
Stimulated might not be the best way to describe it, but when the boys are laughing I forget I'm wrist deep in shit.
You need a new career
I just like hearing someone talking in the other room while I'm doing things, and pka is 4 hours of just that.
So basically I’m being a pretentious podcast snob
It could be that you just don't listen to a verity of podcasts, PKA has set a standard and you can't see how low the bar actually is.
It’s my comfort podcast, I know what I’m getting every week and I listen to podcasts while I’m working so having a 4 hour podcast for a Monday morning makes the day go much quicker
I just listen to it for a laugh and background noise it’s just like listening to a conversation in a pub
Just my cock
Then let me sit on it.
Nah not at all. I just started following these guys in 2008 and now I can’t help but wonder how they’re doing.
I actively feel myself losing brain cells, actually. It's surprising that after 12 years of watching my heart still remembers to beat on its own.
Absolutely not. It’s great to put on when trying to sleep, I’m usually able to fall asleep within 5 minutes or less of starting it.
I have a bunch of podcasts where that happens, PKA isn't one of them
This podcast is highly regarded
Only when Kyle talks about lady boys
A headache? Soft. I usually have a brain aneurysm every episode
Naw PKA is background noise for me now.
I mostly use it when I'm driving or working to help pass the time. I find when I have interesting things to do I stop focusing on the show lol.

I feel mentally disabled and that’s why I laugh
Yeah what limited brain cells I have left start fighting each other to the death making me a gooder idiot.
No. It used to be funny at least. Now I fast forward through a lot of it. Mainly when Kyle is rambling about nothing meaningful. Kyle kicked the guy who made PKA special off and it has never been the same since. It just became the lesbian book club like Shoenice said.
Stimulated? Idk I usually use podcasts when I’m grinding in a game or on a long drive
These guys aren’t smart like Dan Carlin.
Bro did not just talk abt jerking his brain
I listen to the show when I work so no it's not mentally stimulating but good background noise
Not everything I do is about thought provoking ideas, sometimes it’s enjoyable to listen to some funny guys talk. Not much too it.
It’s where I get my American news, so yes.
If you are loosing brain cells by listening to other people speak you have a weak and Malleable brain.
