Sometimes the hacked stuff is good tbh. I put in some shinies I don’t care about into the GTS, get a hacked mon in return, and then go look on the GTS for legit mons (GO mons especially). Its such an easy way to get good, legit mons
That's a good point. Also so you don't have to transfer your pogo shiny mew to SV and run it's value to complete 💩 lol. I get so mad when I see rare pogo with SWSH or SV stamp. Why 😭

The thing about blaines Is that his pokemon are exploited in a way that they are able to be used online without problems. I made use of his non perfect iv shiny deoxys giveaway just so I could transfer my shiny deoxys I had from home. His recent giveaway is the unova legendaries kyurem, reshiram, and zekrom. These, however, are perfect iv shinies which I got just because I never had black and white so it's cool to have them. I never use them tho
He’s a known hacker, and worse, much worse, throws massive amounts of his hack mons on GTS, taking people’s legit mons for them. He’s the biggest kind of asshole.
That's kind of an odd conclusion to make? If you can hack in legal mons, why would you waste time on GTS and its terrible interface? It's much more likely other people are taking his giveaways and trading them out. Blaine's still responsible for the scum in the machine but I think you're giving him too much credit lol
Regardless of whether it’s him or his sycophants, they’re washing mons that pass Home/BSS basic hackcheck but would get you kicked out of any VGC event that checks like Worlds by trading them to people who don’t know better and/or wouldn’t do the trade if they could see the OT/IVs. Then they either use those legit mons themselves or sell them on VGC discords to “pros” who don’t even play the game and so don’t have legal mons to play when the meta shifts.
As long as it's legal it's fine for online. In-person play is different but for VGC ladder etc it's totally fine.
I've even seen illegal Mons used on the ladder, like specific combinations of shiny Cherish ball Mons and whatnot. As long as the moveset is correct it's fine.
They 100% will not lock your HOME account or access to online features in Switch games for receiving a hacked mon through Wonder Trade or the GTS, don’t worry.
However, if you know it’s genned or hacked, don’t use it in any online tournaments. Keep it and use it in-game, or trade it, or release it. That is fine. Just don’t enter it into a tournament and you’re good!
It is true since I've received a hacked Urshifu & nothing has happened to my HOME account and I didn't receive any punishment for transferring it over to the Switch games. As long as you don't use them for online battles, then you're basically safe.

Exactly, my raging bolt I got from GTS has Giratina as its OT name which is in a black list. Son Goku is also in a black list and I have called many of my past characters that as son Goku is my fave character.

I think the data that makes up cloned and genned Pokémon is pretty much the same as what is generated by the games themselves. People use them all the time in online battles. I see pimpnite battle people who have Pokémon with .com on their names.
Those kinda hacked mons are the ones you should worry about.
It’s been hyper trained which means someone has used a bottle cap on it, this thing cannot be captured with perfect IVs. The nature has had a mint used in it and it’s perfectly possible to catch it in a premiere ball.
I also checked both the trainer OT name and ID on the black list and neither were on it.

I put up on gts for gouging fire knowing it’s gonna be hacked if I get it. But I wanted that dex entry. Shiny den is snatching up everything. You can trade it to someone else on gts or dump it if you don’t want it.

I don't really do online battles, so if I end up getting any hacked Pokemon, I'm happy to take it & transfer over to the Switch games.

Raging bolt is super high demand, you should be able to trade this for something else, and then trade back for a legit R.B.
Hyper trained is not max IV by default. U can talk to a guy and hell max ur ivs, thats called hyper trained.
Use it to complete your pokedex and then put it back up for someone else to either keep or do the same. Not many legit ones being traded.

I think the data that makes up cloned and genned Pokémon is pretty much the same as what is generated by the games themselves. People use them all the time in online battles. I see pimpnite battle people who have Pokémon with .com on their names. Those kinda hacked mons are the ones you should worry about.
