Heat gun. Plastic trim tools to help pull it initially then just pull by hand. With enough heat it will not leave any residue. Take your time because if you don’t you’ll have to deal with all the residue which will make it a pain. If there’s residue, use isopropyl alcohol

If you can leave the car outside to bake in the sun that will help. A heat gun works and when you remove the vinyl don’t remove the vinyl at a 90 degree angle meaning. Don’t pull it straight up. Try to pull it as parallel with the hood as you can that will help pull the adhesive off the car too. 3m has an adhesive remover you can buy at auto parts stores that will help

With malice lol or a body shop/ detail shop

3M specialty adhesive remover. If you decide to go with a heat gun as others have suggested, be extremely careful. It’s just a seconds difference to some permanent paint damage.

Also be careful with that spray, it RUINS plastic. Don't let a SINGLE bit get on trim or plastic. Including the grill in the front, your windshield cowl, soft top trim, etc. I ruined a pair of side markers with it, and had to replace. I'd rather use a heat gun at a distance, goo gone if the adhesive sticks, and possibly a fishing line/plastic razor.

Bug and tar remover might be safer on plastics. Does wd40 mess up plastics too? I heard it's safe on paint but I've never used it myself.

silenc3x

wd40 is good too, ive used it. didnt mess anything up.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll post the results

Late to the party, but take a look at the 3M Adhesive Eraser Wheel. It's a rubber wheel that attached to a drill. It's what the pros use and will make easy work of this stripe. I'll add the caveat that it's mostly used for vinyl that doesn't come up easy and is just chipping and flaking instead. If the vinyl is new and you can pull it up in one piece, do that.

silenc3x

dont use 3m adhesive remover.

Grayman222

To be sure you should purge it with fire

There's a guy in the house on my driveway, you can just drop it off with the title I'm sure can handle it

Jesus, just dump acid on it... Please don't dump acid on it. Use Goof Off and a pressure washer.

Paint the car matte black so you don’t notice it

CheesecakeNo7371

Are you trying to remove the tiny silver one or the two black ones that aren't the same size? All joking aside they might be covering something so be careful and go slow.
