I'm watching the weather. We're under a severe thunderstorm warning, which could include 2.5" hail, hurricane-force wind, and possible tornadoes, for the next 2 hours.
After storms, I like to go out and look for mushrooms when I walk my dogs. Found this beauty last year. Chicken of the woods for anyone unfamiliar.

Storm chasers showed up in town this afternoon

I don't know about that. We had a bad storm last evening. We'd been getting storm advisories for 2 days, that it was going to be bad. Several different storm chasers came here because of the tornado warnings and hurricane force wind advisories. We didn't get as bad as predicted in my town, but several area communities did. Reports of 91 mph wind (we had 60mph), large hail, and heavy rain. There were trees uprooted, and buildings damaged in area communities. There were 2 tornadoes within 45 miles of here.

We get so many tornado warnings here where I am in Canada, I HATE them!! In the past few years 3 have already destroyed part of our small city , it’s so scary. One was just down the street from our home. I’m so glad we live in a building now..feel a little safer. Hope the storms didn’t cause too much damage where u are?
