I wanted Sami and Roman at mania and was pretty disappointed. I just feel like Cody being injured hurt him(figuratively) and was rooting for Roman to retain.
Honestly now I'm okay with Cody winning and if they build on it in the next two weeks I am mostly likely going to root for Cody. It's not like he doesn't deserve it(as a wrestler and a human being) it's also the correct business decision. I just hope it doesn't mean Roman moves further to Hollywood. He's found his zone. He could be face in 10 months time and he would be getting cheers like no tomorrow(not saying he should be) I'm not done with heel Roman either. I feel like they can transition away from the Tribal chief stuff and still have sooooo much more compelling things to do with him. He is in God mode after all

Was pumped to hear Santos and Zelina getting more and more of a reaction tonight, and honestly Zelina makes for a much better babyface than I would have thought with that moveset
I knew it was coming but that Riptide on Zelina was crazy. I always thought it looks kind of meh on "regular" sized opponents or when Rhea is too tired to lift them all the way up etc. But it looks crazy good with smaller opponents.

I really liked JD vs. LDF, Legado really symphatetic as babyfaces. The only thing I dont like is that all they take are loses. Give em some Ws man.
I'm a massive fan of Drew and Sheamus so I'm happy both men are included. One thing I'd say, as huge as a Drew fan I am, I'd probably would have given this one to Sheamus. He deserves this WM moment. I hope he gets it, and Drew is there to witness it firsthans. Also - where were Ridge and Butch again? I find the lack of Ridge and Butch sad.

I love that they are showcasing women at WM with this tag match, ALTHOUGH - I prefer most of them as singles. Also, what happened to Liv and Tegan's tag team? I thought they looked badass together.
Dont need to say anything about KO and Sami - all time great moment, I love them both.
Sami slowly stepping back as Kevin comes into grab him for the hug was a beautiful little detail that adds so much to the gravity of that moment.
After weeks of begging Kevin to join him and getting brushed aside Sami needed that insurance the embrace provided.
I also loved that the commentary team let the moment breathe right after Kevin delivered the pop up powerbomb to the moment Kevin and Sami are standing side by side staring down the Usos.

He's been losing, but he's getting plenty of spotlight with some pretty good names. (I suspect they were heading for him feuding with New Day/Kofi at Mania before Kofi got hurt) .
With the rumors swirling, I figure he'll interupt Mania for a bit, then Stone Cold surprises out and stuns him, everyone has fun.
I really wish they did something for St. Patrick's Day. All that really happened was Sheamus came out with a shillelagh, and didn't even use it against Drew. It was briefly mentioned by the announce team that "Sheamus couldn't return to Ireland if he lost on St. Patrick's Day."
They could have had Sheamus or Finn Balor give a promo or something. They could have turned the Drew vs Sheamus match into a St. Patrick's Day barfight match.
Without Swerve, Hit Row has predictably fizzled out while Lacey Evans hasn’t been seen in weeks because what else did you think would happen?

I don't know, Hit Row is probably gonna be kept around for a bit as jobbers to other teams since there needs to be teams that take loses. Plus with how much they ragged Top Dolla, something tells me they have something planned for him.
Lacey Evans though is the more likely to be released. She's not a bad wrestler but her problematic social media behavior, and not really doing anything with the crowd is not really working and they brought back wrestlers who can do her job better. Of course they may keep her as an extra body, but same time they need room for other newer talent.
Fair. It’s interesting how they and Legado have switched roles (babyface/heel) as lower mid-card tag teams.
Lacey has got to go soon. With all the women that HHH has brought back, there’s no point in trying to reboot her over and over again in hopes that something will finally click. Heck, Tiffany Stratton could probably come onto Smackdown right now and do her job better.
I wouldn't say someone has to go because I'm not the type to wish for someone to lose their job unless they themselves want out. That said, with Lacey her big issue is really her attitude, there's plenty of stories about her and her social media post don't help her at all.
And to me it seems like it'll be something Trips new regime are gonna be less tolerant about compared to Vince regime who designs around their personal vision, which includes hot young blondes.
That’s a good mindset to have. I am just a curmudgeon so most of my takes are normally on the negative end of the spectrum by default. With that in mind, the impetus of my original comments stemmed from the fact that I saw a tweet stating that releases were coming soon so I simply felt like speculating.
With the pandemic behind us, I reckon that WWE will go back to their standard routine of roster cuts after every WrestleMania.
As for the hot, blonde comment… yes, my running joke has always been that the sole reason Dana Brooke has held her position in WWE after all these years is because she is a buff, blonde lady and that is something that Vince can never resist.
I dont think there will be much from the main roster, if anyone at all. Lacey would make sense, given besides she cant get over (just bring back the southern sassy character goddamnit), she had some questionable political opinions which I'm sure caused backstage heat. Having said that, I dont think they gonna fire her. Hit Row I think would be sent back to NXT which is really needed.

You know ...I admit I hated everything bloodline last year especially Roman because I have never liked him and have stayed consistent with that no matter what I'll never change that.....but every other thing about the bloodline story and ppl in it has me on edge every week, I love it! From Sami getting in Jeys head to him struggling with that realization that Sami IS right about the abuse and angry at himself for not hitting Roman first and than Sami/ko coming together my God what a ride!!! Can't wait for Mania Cody HAS to finally slay the final boss and end the strangle hold he has on his family and the titles! Even though I don't like him seeing Roman go over the edge after losing it all will be must see tv
Jey calling out Sami for betraying him was so, so good. They have done an *incredible* job of portraying Jey as a victim of psychological abuse who is absolutely torn on which direction he should go next but ultimately can’t break the cycle.
Seriously, this is emmy level storytelling and acting. I can’t remember any storyline in wrestling being this good for this long.
When Jey does eventually turn on Roman, its going to be a pop for the ages.

Then the WWE operantly conditioned us with a flash to Cody. Cody = the best and happiest of feelings. Just like the bell ringing for the dog to tell it the food is here.
I mean. It’s not as good as Sammy fighting for the title at Mania (versus Cody and Roman) while Kevin and some other Bloodline abusee go after the Usos.

Hard to say. They COULD have her cooling her heels til after mania because they need to focus on that, especially if they're wanting to build her up as important, as opposed to use her just as a "tv ready wrestler" like they're using Teagan and Emma.
They could also want her out of the spotlight while she gets this whole "show everyone how awful of a person you are on twitter" phase out of her system....of course she could be going all maga on twitter to keep from getting fired, because that's a pr hastle WWE doesn't want to deal with right now.
I think with what we learn from the last mass releases WWE had under Triple H, they all mainly come down to either not improving enough and underperforming or being problematic backstage like Bodhi supposedly was.
The latter is probably the likely reason if they decide to give up on Lacey Evans, because oh boy the things she says online were not good and unlike others like say Braun she doesn't seem to be close with the other talent.
Honestly I've been thinking to myself that they'll be looking at releasing some people soon.

I like LDF and Reed both but you can't say they're over atm. LDF sudden face turn seemed to confuse the audience and could have been handled better. We need Reed to cut some promos and beat the shit out of someone that we like or loathe. He keeps squashing other wrestlers the audience don't give a shit about.
Charlotte is an awful baby face. That’s the primary reason this feud doesn’t feel like a main event at all. How is the crowd supposed to root for and sympathize with someone who wins nearly all of her matches and talks about how good she is constantly?
Charlotte couldn’t cut a proper babyface promo if you put a gun to her head, her delivery and cadence sounds way too arrogant for someone trying to garner sympathy with the crowd.
They had so many options for Rhea and they choose the worst one. Rhea vs Bianca or Rhea vs Becky would've been so much better because Bianca and Becky can create sympathy and both of those matchups haven't happened on multiple PPV's before. The biggest problem with Charlotte as a face is she's never in danger, her spot is never in doubt, she's superman, everyone nows she'll win and always be fine. It's boring. Actually on second thought she's worse than Superman because at least with Superman we knew his backstory of becoming a hero and he wasn't always perfect, also saving the world is much better than woooing.
Roman hasn’t appear on Smackdown for 2 straight weeks with 2 weeks left till Mania. Cody/Roman have met once lol. What is this build?? No chance for Cody tbh.
Roman can choose his own dates. WWE has to book around him. It's not like they are asking him to come less to Smackdown. We must remember he is a cancer survivor with a young family.

I think, the women's single titles seems the ones being less than intriguing ahead of WrestleMania. All the other championships, including the women's tag, are interesting and I am looking forward to the outcomes.

I think the bloodlines title run is done now. Come wrestlemania Cody takes Romans titles, Sami & KO take the tag ones. Maybe afterwards Roman vs Jay continues, but the silverware will be gone & the family broken. It’s been a wonderful watch
I doubt it. They need Roman to keep the belts so that he can chastise the Usos for losing theirs.
There's still a LOT of tread on the Bloodline storyline, but if you have all the belts dropped at Wrestlemania you may as well just pack it up and say you're done with it.
I expect they're going to get Roman to at least 1000 days, and probably have him have a series of matches with Cody before losing, with the match he does lose likely having some sort of stipulation that prevents outside interference.

An important point to consider: how fucking *furious* is Roman going to be with the Usos because instead of getting rid of KO and Sami, all they did was bring them back together lmao
I think this is leading to the Usos losing the tag titles on night one, then refusing to help Roman on night two after he presumably destroys them both for losing
I worry I’m too jaded because I didn’t feel anything during the reunion. Love both guys. Great pop. But I’ve seen these two reunite, feud, etc so many times now.
Man I hated Cole's exposition during emotional moments under Vince but his commentary to close the show was awesome, even if it was chock-full of platitudes and cliches, and a bit cheesy. I think the mark of a great storyline is when you see them showing Cody backstage smiling knowing it's to rub off Sami's momentum for his own and not caring because it's so well executed.
I wasn't originally sold on Sami/KO vs. the Usos, but they got it to work for me. Great moment at the end, and the crowd really sold it.
Other positives were both Drew and Sheamus advancing (predictable but good), Charlotte/Rhea finally getting some heat, and Liv's butt in those shorts
I know a lot of people are complaining about LA Knight eating a lot of losses, and while I agree it sucks, the thing is I remember him losing a lot at the beginning of his NXT run as well. Then when they started the Grimes/Dibiase storyline he started getting booked much much stronger. I think it’s just gonna take one feud that’ll allow him to really break someone down on the mic to push him to the top and get some more wins. He’s clearly already super over, it’s just a matter of time for the booking to catch up with it. Most likely right after the draft.
Also, I know it's gonna get lost in the big reunion, but I still liked the interaction between Jey and Sami, short as it was.
Sadly the people who believed it was all a secret plan are gonna be going home disappointed, but this is really the first time they spelled out what a lot of people had been inferring from Jey's acting and speeches: Jey's not mad at Sami, he's mad at himself for not being strong enough to break free from Roman. Deep down he knows Sami is right, but Jey at the moment has way more to lose by leaving the Bloodline than Sami did. Him constantly saying "I had no choice," is pretty much him trying to soothe his conscience.
But yeah, as I said before, sometimes the only way for someone to escape a situation like Jey's, is to hit rock bottom. Wrestlemania needs to be the moment where Jey loses everything. His titles, his value in The Bloodline, and whatever leverage of safety for Jimmy that he had. Once Jey has nothing left to lose, he'll find the strength to turn on Roman and help bring his rule to an end.
EDIT: And advice for Sami in the future: if Jey begins his entire speech literally with the phrase "I got a job to do tonight, but first..." at that point you only have yourself to blame if you get surprised by a punch.

And there it is, Zayn and Owens back together as always, and big shocker it's Kevin's music playing, just like when they were a tag team the 1st time. Sami has spent his entire career either being attacked by Kevin, having his titles stolen by Kevin, or getting on his bosses bad side and eventually fired on Kevin's behalf. And now, to end Sami's big story that had him with THE faction, we end it in service of getting KO the tag title he needs for his grand slam. Fuck Kevin Owens (the character)
I thought they were gonna wait till the night before WM for them to be friends. I started to feel like KO was coming back cuz of how hard they sold KO driving away. But I wasn't gonna let myself get heartbroken. Happily surprised.

Bobby needs something for wrestlemania and hopefully it's not that fatal 4-way tag team match and speaking of which, I hope the winner gets a title shot or at least a trophy otherwise it would have been a waste of time, it's so hard to put up those battles royals in the pre-show?.
Rhea put Charlotte quite OVER in her promo to the point of seeing herself below her (a bit at least), which is rare for a heel, the Brawl was good but in no way this should close the night 1
The crowd was ready to see Rey hit Dom.
Jey and Sami's promo was very good and the meeting at the end was great, very well done.

Cody, Sami, Kevin are basically Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man. They all need to work together to take down their biggest threat
Roman is Thanos and The Bloodline is his army that needed to be taken down
The best part of this whole Bloodline thing is that Jey knows Sami is right, but he can't turn on Roman because Jimmy won't.
If he leaves Jimmy alone with Roman, the Tribal Chief will beat the brakes off of him in retaliation and Jey won't/can't abandon Jimmy to that fate.
You can see Jey's soul breaking every time he has a conversation with Sami.
Yet for some reason it's rumored WWE wants to make Charlotte vs Rhea the main event LMAO do they not hear that pop after that hug it's a no brainer imo.
Liked how Cody was inserted into this bloodline story acting as the bridge with KO/Sami both KO/Sami got their moment and shine everybody has in this Hunter and company really handled this well WWE has three red hot babyfaces heading into WrestleMania there's is no question all three should be holding up titles when the shows ends with the Bloodline defeated no reason for Roman to retain all for just 1,000 days Roman has nothing else to prove it's time for him to drop the titles at WrestleMania.
It's only Meltzer spreading the rumors for the Flairs. I bet Ric is the one telling Meltzer that Charlotte is going to main event with no proof. I'll believe when I see it. WWE are booking Sami/KO/Usos like the main event which is why they main event SD every week.
If they do that, I really feel for the task Charlotte and Rhea have ahead of them to make anyone give a shit. Or anyone who has to follow that tag title match.
Maybe if you put it first, but then you're also wasting the perfect visual of KO and Sami ending the night as new champs.

Great Smackdown tonight. I really liked JD vs. LDF, Legado really symphatetic as babyfaces. The only thing I dont like is that all they take are loses. Give em some Ws man. I'm a massive fan of Drew and Sheamus so I'm happy both men are included. One thing I'd say, as huge as a Drew fan I am, I'd probably would have given this one to Sheamus. He deserves this WM moment. I hope he gets it, and Drew is there to witness it firsthans. Also - where were Ridge and Butch again? I find the lack of Ridge and Butch sad. LA Knight, what a guy. Love him to death. As I said with LDF, they need to start to give him Ws, man is a big star. I love that they are showcasing women at WM with this tag match, ALTHOUGH - I prefer most of them as singles. Also, what happened to Liv and Tegan's tag team? I thought they looked badass together. Dont need to say anything about KO and Sami - all time great moment, I love them both.

Sami slowly stepping back as Kevin comes into grab him for the hug was a beautiful little detail that adds so much to the gravity of that moment. After weeks of begging Kevin to join him and getting brushed aside Sami needed that insurance the embrace provided. I also loved that the commentary team let the moment breathe right after Kevin delivered the pop up powerbomb to the moment Kevin and Sami are standing side by side staring down the Usos. Great stuff all around.

LA Knight lost to Xavier. and then offended Rey...so he gets to wrassle him next week. I really wish they did something for St. Patrick's Day. All that really happened was Sheamus came out with a shillelagh, and didn't even use it against Drew. It was briefly mentioned by the announce team that "Sheamus couldn't return to Ireland if he lost on St. Patrick's Day." They could have had Sheamus or Finn Balor give a promo or something. They could have turned the Drew vs Sheamus match into a St. Patrick's Day barfight match.

I don't know, Hit Row is probably gonna be kept around for a bit as jobbers to other teams since there needs to be teams that take loses. Plus with how much they ragged Top Dolla, something tells me they have something planned for him. Lacey Evans though is the more likely to be released. She's not a bad wrestler but her problematic social media behavior, and not really doing anything with the crowd is not really working and they brought back wrestlers who can do her job better. Of course they may keep her as an extra body, but same time they need room for other newer talent.
Fair. It’s interesting how they and Legado have switched roles (babyface/heel) as lower mid-card tag teams. Lacey has got to go soon. With all the women that HHH has brought back, there’s no point in trying to reboot her over and over again in hopes that something will finally click. Heck, Tiffany Stratton could probably come onto Smackdown right now and do her job better.
I wouldn't say someone has to go because I'm not the type to wish for someone to lose their job unless they themselves want out. That said, with Lacey her big issue is really her attitude, there's plenty of stories about her and her social media post don't help her at all. And to me it seems like it'll be something Trips new regime are gonna be less tolerant about compared to Vince regime who designs around their personal vision, which includes hot young blondes.
That’s a good mindset to have. I am just a curmudgeon so most of my takes are normally on the negative end of the spectrum by default. With that in mind, the impetus of my original comments stemmed from the fact that I saw a tweet stating that releases were coming soon so I simply felt like speculating. With the pandemic behind us, I reckon that WWE will go back to their standard routine of roster cuts after every WrestleMania. As for the hot, blonde comment… yes, my running joke has always been that the sole reason Dana Brooke has held her position in WWE after all these years is because she is a buff, blonde lady and that is something that Vince can never resist.
I dont think there will be much from the main roster, if anyone at all. Lacey would make sense, given besides she cant get over (just bring back the southern sassy character goddamnit), she had some questionable political opinions which I'm sure caused backstage heat. Having said that, I dont think they gonna fire her. Hit Row I think would be sent back to NXT which is really needed.

You know ...I admit I hated everything bloodline last year especially Roman because I have never liked him and have stayed consistent with that no matter what I'll never change that.....but every other thing about the bloodline story and ppl in it has me on edge every week, I love it! From Sami getting in Jeys head to him struggling with that realization that Sami IS right about the abuse and angry at himself for not hitting Roman first and than Sami/ko coming together my God what a ride!!! Can't wait for Mania Cody HAS to finally slay the final boss and end the strangle hold he has on his family and the titles! Even though I don't like him seeing Roman go over the edge after losing it all will be must see tv
Jey calling out Sami for betraying him was so, so good. They have done an *incredible* job of portraying Jey as a victim of psychological abuse who is absolutely torn on which direction he should go next but ultimately can’t break the cycle. Seriously, this is emmy level storytelling and acting. I can’t remember any storyline in wrestling being this good for this long. When Jey does eventually turn on Roman, its going to be a pop for the ages.

I mean tonight it is already a better story than Cody vs Roman. Jey and Sami’s emotion really brought the pop tonight. Then the WWE operantly conditioned us with a flash to Cody. Cody = the best and happiest of feelings. Just like the bell ringing for the dog to tell it the food is here.

Hard to say. They COULD have her cooling her heels til after mania because they need to focus on that, especially if they're wanting to build her up as important, as opposed to use her just as a "tv ready wrestler" like they're using Teagan and Emma. They could also want her out of the spotlight while she gets this whole "show everyone how awful of a person you are on twitter" phase out of her system....of course she could be going all maga on twitter to keep from getting fired, because that's a pr hastle WWE doesn't want to deal with right now.
I think with what we learn from the last mass releases WWE had under Triple H, they all mainly come down to either not improving enough and underperforming or being problematic backstage like Bodhi supposedly was. The latter is probably the likely reason if they decide to give up on Lacey Evans, because oh boy the things she says online were not good and unlike others like say Braun she doesn't seem to be close with the other talent.
Honestly I've been thinking to myself that they'll be looking at releasing some people soon. New management isn't as petty and vindictive as old management but surely you'd look at some underperformers and say it's time to cut ties. How much talent are they going to hoard otherwise.

I really like how they've been using Legado. I think that whole feud has elevated everyone involved. I'm even happy that LA Knight is getting involved. Everything has been so much better since they pulled Kross out of it.
I like LDF and Reed both but you can't say they're over atm. LDF sudden face turn seemed to confuse the audience and could have been handled better. We need Reed to cut some promos and beat the shit out of someone that we like or loathe. He keeps squashing other wrestlers the audience don't give a shit about.
Charlotte is an awful baby face. That’s the primary reason this feud doesn’t feel like a main event at all. How is the crowd supposed to root for and sympathize with someone who wins nearly all of her matches and talks about how good she is constantly?
Charlotte couldn’t cut a proper babyface promo if you put a gun to her head, her delivery and cadence sounds way too arrogant for someone trying to garner sympathy with the crowd.
They had so many options for Rhea and they choose the worst one. Rhea vs Bianca or Rhea vs Becky would've been so much better because Bianca and Becky can create sympathy and both of those matchups haven't happened on multiple PPV's before. The biggest problem with Charlotte as a face is she's never in danger, her spot is never in doubt, she's superman, everyone nows she'll win and always be fine. It's boring. Actually on second thought she's worse than Superman because at least with Superman we knew his backstory of becoming a hero and he wasn't always perfect, also saving the world is much better than woooing.

Whoever they choose to end Roman's over two year long reign of terror is going to be the defacto top guy. It's bad messaging to say "yeah, you guys stuck it out with us through no audiences, Covid, management shifts and all other kinds of chaos, but we're going to give the top spot to the guy who left the company and came back. It'd be a nightmare to keep any up-and-coming talented midcarder at that point as you just have AEW wave a contract at them and promise them a run at the top, they know that so long as they make their mark, they'll come back to WWE making more money and getting more respect than if they do their job, do it well and trust the WWE's booking to do right by them.

I think the bloodlines title run is done now. Come wrestlemania Cody takes Romans titles, Sami & KO take the tag ones. Maybe afterwards Roman vs Jay continues, but the silverware will be gone & the family broken. It’s been a wonderful watch
I doubt it. They need Roman to keep the belts so that he can chastise the Usos for losing theirs. There's still a LOT of tread on the Bloodline storyline, but if you have all the belts dropped at Wrestlemania you may as well just pack it up and say you're done with it. I expect they're going to get Roman to at least 1000 days, and probably have him have a series of matches with Cody before losing, with the match he does lose likely having some sort of stipulation that prevents outside interference.

I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't really have the wind in my sails for the Bloodline/Sami/KO/Cody stuff anymore. I'm sure at the end I'll be able to appreciate it, but now I just lose all momentum when they're on screen.

An important point to consider: how fucking *furious* is Roman going to be with the Usos because instead of getting rid of KO and Sami, all they did was bring them back together lmao I think this is leading to the Usos losing the tag titles on night one, then refusing to help Roman on night two after he presumably destroys them both for losing

Man I hated Cole's exposition during emotional moments under Vince but his commentary to close the show was awesome, even if it was chock-full of platitudes and cliches, and a bit cheesy. I think the mark of a great storyline is when you see them showing Cody backstage smiling knowing it's to rub off Sami's momentum for his own and not caring because it's so well executed.
Cole’s longevity is really incredible. He sucked under Vince for sure but he’s great now.

I wasn't originally sold on Sami/KO vs. the Usos, but they got it to work for me. Great moment at the end, and the crowd really sold it. Other positives were both Drew and Sheamus advancing (predictable but good), Charlotte/Rhea finally getting some heat, and Liv's butt in those shorts

I know a lot of people are complaining about LA Knight eating a lot of losses, and while I agree it sucks, the thing is I remember him losing a lot at the beginning of his NXT run as well. Then when they started the Grimes/Dibiase storyline he started getting booked much much stronger. I think it’s just gonna take one feud that’ll allow him to really break someone down on the mic to push him to the top and get some more wins. He’s clearly already super over, it’s just a matter of time for the booking to catch up with it. Most likely right after the draft.

Pearce should give some suspensions to Judgement Day. Every Raw and SmackDown they cause a major disruption two or three times.
Also, I know it's gonna get lost in the big reunion, but I still liked the interaction between Jey and Sami, short as it was. Sadly the people who believed it was all a secret plan are gonna be going home disappointed, but this is really the first time they spelled out what a lot of people had been inferring from Jey's acting and speeches: Jey's not mad at Sami, he's mad at himself for not being strong enough to break free from Roman. Deep down he knows Sami is right, but Jey at the moment has way more to lose by leaving the Bloodline than Sami did. Him constantly saying "I had no choice," is pretty much him trying to soothe his conscience. But yeah, as I said before, sometimes the only way for someone to escape a situation like Jey's, is to hit rock bottom. Wrestlemania needs to be the moment where Jey loses everything. His titles, his value in The Bloodline, and whatever leverage of safety for Jimmy that he had. Once Jey has nothing left to lose, he'll find the strength to turn on Roman and help bring his rule to an end. I thought they were gonna wait till the night before WM for them to be friends. I started to feel like KO was coming back cuz of how hard they sold KO driving away. But I wasn't gonna let myself get heartbroken. Happily surprised.
Very good show Very good opener, it was great to see Cody, Sami and Owens together. LDF are 0-3 against JD, they have really swept the floor with them. Bobby needs something for wrestlemania and hopefully it's not that fatal 4-way tag team match and speaking of which, I hope the winner gets a title shot or at least a trophy otherwise it would have been a waste of time, it's so hard to put up those battles royals in the pre-show?. Rhea put Charlotte quite OVER in her promo to the point of seeing herself below her (a bit at least), which is rare for a heel, the Brawl was good but in no way this should close the night 1 The crowd was ready to see Rey hit Dom. Jey and Sami's promo was very good and the meeting at the end was great, very well done.
As a close to night 1 it does seem underwhelming. Don't forget last year, the close to night 1 was KO vs Stone Cold.
Think about it Cody, Sami, Kevin are basically Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man. They all need to work together to take down their biggest threat Roman is Thanos and The Bloodline is his army that needed to be taken down

It would be a legit joke if another match has to go on after Sami/KO winning the tag titles at WM. No one is topping that.
The best part of this whole Bloodline thing is that Jey knows Sami is right, but he can't turn on Roman because Jimmy won't. If he leaves Jimmy alone with Roman, the Tribal Chief will beat the brakes off of him in retaliation and Jey won't/can't abandon Jimmy to that fate. You can see Jey's soul breaking every time he has a conversation with Sami.
Yet for some reason it's rumored WWE wants to make Charlotte vs Rhea the main event LMAO do they not hear that pop after that hug it's a no brainer imo. Liked how Cody was inserted into this bloodline story acting as the bridge with KO/Sami both KO/Sami got their moment and shine everybody has in this Hunter and company really handled this well WWE has three red hot babyfaces heading into WrestleMania there's is no question all three should be holding up titles when the shows ends with the Bloodline defeated no reason for Roman to retain all for just 1,000 days Roman has nothing else to prove it's time for him to drop the titles at WrestleMania.
It's not main eventing. If Charlotte Vs Rhea was main eventing atleast it would have main evented any show before WrestleMania.
It's only Meltzer spreading the rumors for the Flairs. I bet Ric is the one telling Meltzer that Charlotte is going to main event with no proof. I'll believe when I see it. WWE are booking Sami/KO/Usos like the main event which is why they main event SD every week.
If they do that, I really feel for the task Charlotte and Rhea have ahead of them to make anyone give a shit. Or anyone who has to follow that tag title match. Maybe if you put it first, but then you're also wasting the perfect visual of KO and Sami ending the night as new champs.
