I consider myself somewhat "in" on the internet wrestling game, so I totally get what this picture is. God it's hilarious how inside this picture is. Man, I'd feel so bad if someone clicked on this and didn't understand it. I feel so bad that I really think someone that isn't me should explain what this meme is so other people that aren't me can be in on the joke, because I'm totally already in on it because I totally know what this picture is.
Kurt's face has become an extremely popular meme as of late. Kenny shows some kudos for Kurt here by photoshopping his own face which has also become a meme over Kurt's meme face, thus uniting both of their meme pics in a synthesis of sorts, and drawing a parallel between himself and Kurt. As the scholar Omega himself quoth: "game recognises game."
Might also be because he did a bit of a review on his twitch stream of a Kurt vs Rey match and called him one of his favourite wrestlers of all time, also called the match a perfect opener and said he'd make it required viewing if he had a school.

Somehow Billy Gunn, Dustin Rhodes, Luther, Jeff Jarrett and Paul Wight escaped my memory.
But in terms of 50+ who wrestle regularly that adds Gunn and Jarrett, so that’s 6 regular 50+ wrestlers.

They are the heart and soul of AEW right now!!!!! But seriously seeing how Jarrett and Gunn work in AEW I do often forget that they are like 55 and 60 respectively.
Is that really true after we just had Sting have one of the best retirement matches against the Young Bucks? If Kurt did the Sting tag team route, just off the top of my head he could team with Omega, Shibata, Garcia, Yuta, Moriarty, or Hook. And have a final tag match against FTR, Ospraey and Takeshita, or BCC.

I was not aware of that interview, in that case then yes I agree if that's what he wants. Just like how I hope Jericho finishes his career against Lance Storm.
He's already been offered big money by Tony to work in AEW but he declined it, saying he was way too banged up to ever get back in ring shape. There was also a report a year or two back that said Kurt Angle was one of the only wrestlers that stem cell treatment didn't help because he was just way too injured. It's never happening
Maybe in a few years if Kurt really wants to, and more importantly can, wrestle again.
He's been saying he'd do it for a lot of money but he probably just doesn't want to do it because he can't anymore.
As a big Omega fan, it's been insanely frustrating since "Brawl Out" 2022. First he couldnt wrestle cuz of CM Punk/Tony Khan/lawyers, then his post surgery recoveries. The guy has barely wrestled a singles match since 2021 Fall Out against Hangman. If he only has only one more solid singles run, I will be ok with that.
Can we have Kenny and Kurt in a tag match so Kenny can do the heavy lifting? Please give me a one off retirement match for Kurt beyond his retirement with Corbin.

We do have ~~4~~ 10 wrestlers 50+ already on the roster as it is
