Part of me thinks that this live stream and subsequent drop in stock price is to show that he isn’t manipulating anything for personal gain, in fact others are manipulating it for personal gain. Perhaps this is a “case building” piece to the puzzle.

As Roaring Kitty mentioned the thesis always involved evolving the business.. that’s what Ryan + Co is doing, because it’s the way for us to unlock and maximize long term returns. In order to do that you need $$. We now have tons of $$, oh and also for the ability of Ryan to invest that money (ala Berkshire Hathaway).

We'll see how the recent things play out but I think the sudden offering threw off the call's plans and hype a bit.

He said he had no backers, the account is all his. He was the one posting the memes on X (people were speculating that he had sold his X account). And he showed complete trust in GME management, and that he still believes in his original thesis from years ago.
I think people were just hoping for something crazy, like he is just going to get on YouTube and give out his masterplan or watch him try to manipulate the stock with his massive position, but he just showed that he's a normal goofy dude with complete trust in the company he's invested in.
I got the impression he was going to say something or make a move but decided against it based on how much the price was down. Left the move for another day. Today there was to much push back in the momentum.
