After him being demon lord whole jura domain given to him so its not federation anymore Since he is the owner and ruler of the lands He is king

wolololo00

He shouldn't have named it federation in the first place. He needs to accept that the cardinal world's nature is not the same as the earth. Monsters went along with his federation idea just because he's the strongest in Jura Forest, and they can get some merits & most importantly his protection in Veldora's absence, not just because they agree with his ideals. In a world with world-shattering magic that can be cast by many individuals and a large gap of power among different species, earth politics and government types that are used to control one species, humans, are pointless since the rules will be dictated by the strongest among those top powerhouses. If he said he wanted to change it to Jura-Tempest Kingdom, no monster would disagree with him since he's the strongest. Black and white is useless against pure power anyway.

No-Elk-1958

The oni, they agreed with rimurus ideal if they didn't they would have left, a peaceful world, geld agreed because a world which is peaceful and coexisting gives food essentially his peoples problem, A federation worked before Because rimuru had the representatives of each race(geld orcs, the oni, rigurd for goblins, gabiru for the lizardmen) which is what a federation is, a collection of different states under 1 union, and there WERE technically different states(villages)now tho it's changed, because I think tempest is kingdom now or is still a federation.. but they did praise rimuru as a king in s2,..so it's a kingdom now

wolololo00

The Oni follow the strong; whatever Rimuru's ideals are, it doesn't matter for them whether he is destroying the world or protecting it; they will still follow him. They only knew Rimuru's plan to build a nation after he named them. Hakurou already said they will follow Rimuru on whatever path he chooses; good or bad, it doesn't matter for them; what's important is whether Rimuru wants it or not. Remember, they're battle-maniac monsters that believed in survival of the fittest, not weak and frail humans that want constant peace for their safety.

To be fair Countries in real life are never named as accurate as they should be named. Take for example, North Korea which is the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. It is not at all accurate and completely false in nearly every single aspect with it partly being right about the Korea part. Now to move away from the politic side, the fact Rimuru named it the Jura Forest Federation isn’t that bad of a name actually. Rimuru essentially handles the external affairs of the member states involved(Aka the various tribes that form the Jura Tempest Alliance). There is no restriction on a Federation having a king/dictator and there’s examples across the world from Canada, Australia, and Russia. People often forget that the Jura Tempest Federation isn’t just Rimuru City. It’s mentioned countless times that it isn’t just that city but that there’s hundreds of other villages scattered across that forest that have faith and owe loyalty to Rimuru. Yet they literally make their own rules and govern themselves for the most part. When it comes to major issues, Rimuru isn’t afraid to use force to put the tribes back into place(Aka the Gozu, Mezu, and even the Rabbitfolk to some degree). The name fits well and it doesn’t behave like a kingdom at all since all the races get representation and aren’t repressed at all. More importantly, Kingdoms are often made up by a singular race of people. Empires are made up by multiple races being ruled over by a singular one and being oppressed. To name the Jura Tempest Federation a Kingdom would suggest that all the residents belong to the same species(which it clearly isn’t) while calling it an empire would suggest that a singular race is ruling over all the empire which is not true at all… the administration is literally made up of what is considered the weakest of the races to literal demons…

GodOfArk

Demon lord is itself a title

Important_Sound772

Canada for example is a federation and technically has a king so not it isn’t necessary to rename it

Creative_Fly_1675

A prime minister.

Veldora-Destroyer

Seriously no one is talking about Veldora Whole jura forest is Veldora’s domain that why their was an unspoken non aggression pact between demon lords and jura forest and since rimuru is having completely support of veldora and he is now also is demon lord so……………………

MovieMaster2004

Veldora no longer has rule over the forest. He gave it up during Walpurgis when Rimuru declared the Forest his domain. I don’t see how it’s relevant to my question?
