I want to go to this sooooo bad. Why do I live on the other coast - so far away? Why is this happening right when school starts? It would take 35 hours to drive there. They're most likely going to play a ton of stuff from Gleam III, if not the whole thing. I wonder if Joe can come pick us up in San Diego and we can carpool out to NC. Joking. I joke. I want to do this soooooo bad. I'm so hard up for SOMETHING GOOD. I'm nuts, right? Am I nuts? Guys, we lost sooooo many concerts this summer. This could be the *one thing* that gets us by the shittiest of all shitty summers in the shittiest year ever. I don't know. Maybe I'm being dramatic. "All heart, no brains that's me." Ugh.

Pack a change of clothes and a pillow for the road! You're not nuts at all! The route you'd take through the southwest & south would allow for lots of amazing stops along the way, you could make a memorable vacation out of this if you're able to take 2 weeks off work. The biggest COVID risks would be getting food and lodging, but you could mitigate this by camping and grocery shopping instead of dining out every meal.

>Pack a change of clothes and a pillow for the road! Yes!!! That's like a siren's call to my ears! ONWARD! lol You're speaking my language. It would take three days - both ways. My friend is telling me going through New Mexico will be difficult because we'd have to make it through in one day. Ugh. My husband says to try to get a ticket. If we can score one, we'll see. We can always offload it. If we *can't* get a ticket, then it's settled. Heck, we don't even know how much these are going to be yet, do we? Goodness.

vistagirl4

My husband says I'm nuts. We can't. Ugh.

We just did the round trip from Concord to Berkeley and back. We were only gone a week and we stayed in Berkeley 3 days. You can do it easy.

bananner5

Ticket sales was a shit show.

stanleythemanley44

4 hour drive from me.... Strongly debating this. I'm curious if the sound will play over the radio or over speakers like a regular concert.

MKEcasey

They said in their announcement video that it would be through car speakers

ps2sunvalley

Did anyone actually get tickets in the pre-sale? For me site crashed and when I finally got in nothing was available

bananner5

Same! It would seem like I had one and then I couldn’t check out. Even when some were still available! It sucked!

ps2sunvalley

Yeah I’m not a fan of that. Tomorrow will be worse

bananner5

Do you think tickets at all levels will be available tomorrow?

ps2sunvalley

Yes because if you look at lot 1 at the individual spots some say not-available and some say booked. It looks like about 50% went on sale today in those sections, as for the rest I have no idea how many were released today, but it definitely wasn't all of them. Edit: formatting

I’m pissed. We pay extra to support these guys and the site crashed. I had one in my cart and pressed pay and it crashed. There are only 940 tickets left to be sold. 560 were just sold, and they had over 2000 people trying to buy 560 tickets.

bananner5

Yeah, same. Tomorrow will probably not be any better then..

[deleted]

It’s complete bullshit. Personally, I think they should have limited everyone to 1 ticket since you can put 6 people in your car.

Stan_Halen_

Does anyone know if I were to come down on Friday night could I camp out like a NASCAR race?

Roquer

How will tickets work? Is it 1 per person or 1 per car?

ps2sunvalley

Details are up now on the website

FinancialEgg9

Got our tickets. Can’t wait!

GoofTroop_PoopChute

Strongly considering the 11 hour drive from Michigan... A weekend road trip for a concert in my car seems like one of the best ways to SAFELY escape the cabin fever feeling I’ve had since March and itch that concert scratch I’ve had for a while.

weaverce

Anyone know the presale code?
