Tuco may not have been the most dangerous villain in BB, but he was definitely the most unpredictable. You never knew if something a character said would piss him off or make him laugh. And you never knew what he’d do if he was pissed off. He could just shout at you, or he could fucking kill you.
Every scene could go any way with him.
Practically the whole Salamanca family can fit here honestly. When Hector was still mobile and verbal, everyone around him seemed terrified of his every move, no matter how mundane.
Fucking Homelander, man. There’s just something about him that makes me terrified for someone’s safety whenever they’re alone in a room with him. He’s got this look in his eyes, like he’s imagining all the awful things he could do to you and deciding whether or not to do them. Like a machine wearing a skin suit.

The man had PRESENCE. He could show up at the most random times in the story and the mood of whatever scene was going on immediately changes to tense, fearful and making both the characters and even the viewers shit their pants

When Joseph was using hermit purple to search for information on a TV screen, DIO showed up out of nowhere and knew exactly what Joseph was doing. Joseph and Avdol shat bricks when they saw him and the entire scene from casually looking for info to pure terror when he showed up
Honestly same. He does not look like a monster. And i really like that. He looks like a normal person. And ultimately i think its important to realize that evil usually looks like everyone else
Honestly im a sucker for a good villain in kids cartoons.
Literally im currently watching Centaurworld on Netflix and it’s purely because the villain is soo cool / well done
Then you clearly haven’t watched the series. The man’s an absolute menace that runs magical circles around anyone who tries to fight him. Just a very menacing, cunning, dangerous presence.
Dude is so extra. His introductory scene has him emerge from the ocean in front of terrified sailors, walk down the deck of their ship, stop in front of one, smoke his pipe and say “Do you fear death?”. I aspire to have that level of drama one day

Annie Wilkes(Misery). I didn’t watch the movie yet, but she’s terrifying in a book, reading that is a roller coaster of emotions
Never read the book. But saw the movie for the first time last year (despite seeing pop culture references to it my whole life). I was not ready for that scene in the gif. Kathy Baites OWNED the screen. Her presence was incredible. And i was honestly not sure whether the writer was going to out alive or not by the end.

Legato bluesummers imo is even more threatening than Millions Knives. Perhaps he’s less dangerous. But his drive to force Vash to kill means he’ll do whatever fucked up thing he needs to achieve his goal. Whether that’s forcing a bunch of people in a bar to kill each other or maybe threatening an innocent child. His aura is so disturbing and he makes every scene he’s in incredibly tense.
Homelander is the first time I really understood this. Anthony starr's expression somehow pulls this stepford smile crossed with barely concealed rage. It's genuinely terrifying.
