They reminded me of rathalos aswell, you could make the HQs ascending like azure and silver etc. for your tyranids

It's lovely. The colours really bring out the details of the miniature. If it's not a pain to accomplish it should be great for a whole army. Maybe some skin colour, blueish or purpleish contrast instead of whatever contrast you are using on the skin? It looks a little muddy on the white.

I really love this color scheme. Especially the dark spikes. I think adding some additional highlights to the scales would bring it to the next level. The grey skin looks good and think adding a few highlights would be a good next step.

Overall it looks good, I'd suggest working thinner with the contrast and trying to push it around a bit more to smooth the tradient on the scale, and as others have said a little bit of that on the pale part of the face to set it into the scales more I think would look good. I think that looks great!! If you really are looking for some color input - I would say that the white on the face and underside is too cold in temperature - maybe like a parchment white or a butter yellow could look as an alternative? Only you know what’s best for your army - looking forward to seeing more of it!! 🤘👌🙏🫶😆

I think it'd look better if the skin part of the lizard was more tan/orange but keep the scales the same. That would give a lot more color to it imo
