Tobec_

I tried but my local GW store told me I can’t bring a cat as a proxy

m1ndwipe

Not without strapping a howda of Chaos Warriors on top at least.

StepwisePilot

Well they're just no fun at that store.

Prestigious_Chard_90

Needs some green stuff, but the cat as a War Sphinx works well. A bit problematic gluing it to the base though.

FlashCell816

It may be used as a Tyranid bio-titan.

TheUltimateScotsman

Check the gargantuan squiggoth. It's about right

paulmclaughlin

It's a Bloodthirster of Unfettered Furry.

Quiet_Rest

Fricking rules on animals...

Tobec_

Yeah they got nerf since it make skavens unplayable

Luknron

A cat, as a lore accurate felinid titan that doesn't care about the rules and calls no man mister

Aenerion

Anything can be proxied as a Lord-Solar!

LordTengil

He even put it on a square base.

Blastaz

Lies, they make a perfectly fine Keeper of Secrets…

Gnarlroot

You could bulk up the fighting platform of a boar chariot and whack him on there to lead a nomadic waaagh. Black Orc boss of some kind on a Black Orc Chariot.

StepwisePilot

Huh, I hadn't considered putting him on a chariot. Thanks for the idea. 🙂

Gnarlroot

My current passions are reusing AoS models, and putting characters on chariots, so it's my default suggestion!

StepwisePilot

As a plus, his pose would look pretty good on a chariot, I think. Only downside is that he has a pesky "tactical rock" under his foot.

BlackJimmy88

That's not a tactical rock. It's now the breaks to his shiny new chariot!

StepwisePilot

Hahaha

LokyarBrightmane

Force a load of goblins to lift his beloved rock in his chariot because he needs something to dramatically pose on.

StepwisePilot

Now there is an idea. 🙂

General-MacDavis

Remove rock, replace with pile of corpses, boom

InevitableCarrot4858

In my head canon you've got Alerielle on her stag beatle on top of a chariot.

thalovry

Love this idea. He could even have something like a "fight deck", something like the sideriders on Biggus Piggus

Yamama77

Khemrian war sphinx The orc can go on top

StepwisePilot

Hmmmm.... I'm aware that 40K orks loot a lot of stuff. Now I wonder if Fantasy orcs do the same, hahaha

Yamama77

A giant cat would be the perfect weapon of destruction and also still cute.

StepwisePilot

So, fun fact, but I didn't realize she was in the picture until I put it here to post. When I saw her there, I decided against retaking the picture. I mean, I knew she was there, as I was talking to her, but didn't realize she was in the shot. Since I was focused on her, I didn't pay enough attention to my phone as I took the picture, and she ended up there.

ciarogeile

You could put him on a 60mm square base and use him as a unit filler amongst an orc regiment. The chariot idea sounds fun though

StepwisePilot

Thanks for the idea. 🙂

AlexStonehammer

I like to do that with named character, my Belegar Ironhammer is flanked by a couple of Hammerers on a 50mm base to count as him and 3 models in his unit. Started because he looked a bit weedy compared to Skarsnik and Gobbla

Stonefly_C

Khajiit has wares, if you have coin.

StepwisePilot

🙂

artsyork

May you walk on warm sands.

Optimal_Question8683

he is too big so go for a black orc warboss on chariot

StepwisePilot

Sounds good to me.

mrsgaap1

your cat has real pretty eyes

StepwisePilot

She's just gorgeous all around. ☺️

edmc78

Cat can proxy as a Godbeast but 3k points so idk.

StepwisePilot

She's a tough one, that's for sure.

gwaihir-the-windlord

The cat could proxy as a tyranid bio titan! The orc can proxy as a very large black orc warboss maybe?

StepwisePilot

It would be neat to say I can show up to a game with a titan, hahaha.

Hip-hop-rhino

No, He's too big to base, would bat your models off the table, and people at the game store might be allergic. Or do you mean the orc?

Custodian_Nelfe

You could proxy it for a Shaggoth or something like this, although he won't probably cooperate. For the minis on the left, sorry no idea.

StepwisePilot

She'd be the mightiest Shaggoth to ever be seen!

PabloTrance

Maybe you can fit him on a 30mm base, I see a lot of empty space on his base.

thalovry

His feet are too far apart, sadly, without a lot of overhang.

WranglerFuzzy

Put him on a tall and narrow tactical rock?

LokyarBrightmane

If you play Imperial Guard he'd make a great Lord Solar

StepwisePilot

I've seen an Imperial Guard ork army before, in which each model was an ork or grot disguise as an imperial guard unit.

Scatamarano89

It might pass as a warsphinx but the base would be huge

StepwisePilot

Hahaha

HydroSloth

Photogenic cat tho

StepwisePilot

Thank you. 🙂

Darnok83

I have seen people use the big Ironjaw heroes as giants. That model should fill a 50x50 or 50x75 base well enough, and it stands tall about everything outside of trolls or actual giants. Bonus points for doing it in a Black Orc themed army! Catto can work as one of the bigger gribblies from "Monstrous Arcanum". Extra bonus points for mounting an actual Orc boss on it!

Little_hunt3r

I like your cat! But to be serious and answer your question, yes you probably can! The model itself is fine, the only issue is getting him on the base. The AoS orcs have very wide stances. But I’m sure there’s something in there!

nurielkun

The lack of cross compatibility between TOW and AoS (or 40k and HH for that matter) never ceases to amaze me.

StepwisePilot

It's why they removed beastmen/beasts of chaos from AoS. I get that they want to keep the lines separate, but they have to realize it annoys people.

Bright-Barracuda2713

Could you use him as a Commander (searget equivalent) for a unit of Ogors? I quite like the idea of using brutes as ogor proxy?

Thelastdance89

Cat mounted on cardboard box

DinoMANKIND

I don't think you can use cats as proxies, but I mean... dr. Frankenstein started somewhere

BallAlternative1029

You mean the cat or the orc??

Environ_Mentalist

I saw a battle report where they put a megaboss on a 50mm square base and used him as a giant in a black orc army which was quite fun. The other one could probably proxy as a furry wyvern? I think they’d do better as a beautiful mammoth or a bio-titan though to be honest…

StepwisePilot

How tall is the giant model currently sold by GW in the Old World section? I actually really like that idea. And yeah, the containment unit failed. The beast is loose.

Environ_Mentalist

I just happened to have one of the old metal ones here! He’s 9cm tall.

StepwisePilot

Thank you. 🙂 I'll see about sourcing a 50mm base for him (maybe . Might go with the chariot idea. Not 100% yet on either). I'll just check how tall he is.

Environ_Mentalist

No worries! You could always put a magnet in his foot and use him in a chariot or directly on a base as well?

tervindavvvvvr

you could have him go on a 60x60 that just takes up 4 bases on the unit. or a 30x60. Otherwise on a chariot could be cool! Will be cool to see what you come up with.

Thannk

Use cork to make a rock that overhangs the base for him to stand on.

SpareCountofVukograd

Yes, she would be quite a powerful agent of Tzeentch. Doing whatever she wants while having a dumb hooman under her thumb. As for orc, I will let that for others to help you with. I have no idea.

bcav27

The cat jokes are top tier. For your orc, I’ve put him on a 30x30 square and use him as a BSB/Black Orc Bigboss

chariotaflame

That looks like a really big model. I’d say giant squiggoth but they just discontinued those…

springheeledjack66

If you give him a hat he might work as a Felinid guardsman and if you claim he's on all fours as part of a attack pose you might be able to blab he's a Beastman from Ind? Don't know about the orc

IamAlphariusCLH

You could....how cute is this cat?!

BJ3RG3RK1NG

Cat is good

ChrisBatty

He’s probably too big to go in a unit but perhaps he would suit a chariot boss
