Plucking can lead to ingrown hairs or infected follicles, which I imagine are absolute agony if they happen inside your nose.Â

Seriously though, nose stubble causes way more daily anguish with my rounded Norman blow holes than the risk of ingrowns deters.
Don't trim, don't pluck, just get an electric nose-hair trimmer (often included as an attachment with beard trimmers). They're easy to use and painless, and you'll wish you got one years ago.
Grab your mustache scissor with one hand (make sure it's an ambidextrous scissor so you can use both hands) and do the pig snout with the other. Put the blades along the perimeter of your nostrils and snip whatever pokes out. The razor blade that has 5 blades on one side and the single blade on the other helps on the inner side of the nostrils too, but shave down, not up.
I have one of these things and it works great. No electricity needed!

WAX THEM!  Get a home waxing kit.  Watch a video how to do it.  Be careful cause you can fuck yourself up (watch you don’t get it on your mustache/beard cause it’ll leave a bald spot, don’t wax the same spot too many times in one sitting, nothing too bad). It’s awesome, you don’t have to worry about trimming your nose hair for a month and over time the hairs get thinner and blonder.
Wax! Plucking them one by one is the most painful thing ever, but for some strange reason pulling them all out at once i can barely feel anything. (see a professional, do not do it yourself)
Frost the tips
Buy a trimmer. Stash it where you will notice the hairs first.
Maybe in your car. I keep my tweezers in my car because every time I glance in the mirror, the bright sun shows me some out-of-place eyebrows.
The staff restroom in my office is super brightly lit and has a huge mirror, so I keep the trimmer in a desk drawer.
Do not wax them. Your nose will leak constantly
Other downside: sauna suuuuucks. You feel every last follicle wound on every inhale.
I do cocaine so its my excuse when my nose runs, 🤣😂🤣.  I’m sniffling cause of my waxed nose and definitely not the cocaine…

I once rubbed my nose to scratch an itch, and didn’t realize I had an ingrown hair. Might’ve invented a new cuss word that day.

Don’t trim I’m too close. You’ll get ingrown hairs. Look like a coke addict that went on a bender and they are painful.

Esthetician here. Never pluck or wax nose hair. Just use micro scissors or electric nose hair trimmer.
I pluck
Have mild OCD, pull them out with your fingers since you were 10. ....its still hard at 40, but i can get them now. Problem solved!!!!
Those ones near the front hurt the most...tear inducing sometimes

Put on a rubber glove (for the extra grip) and just pull them all out by the handful.
