The animation wasn't even that bad, but the CGI was sometimes jarring. I assume, because of the movie, that S2 will look much worse than S1.
I somewhat expect them to have at least 1 recap episode
S2 is going to be just one cour, and from what I've heard the movie wasn't particularly well animated either, about the same level as the first season. But yeah, definitely don't expect it to be better than S1.
It's so frustrating with this anime, like the art style & character designs are so on point, and it would seriously be so fucking peak if it had some good animation.
I haven't watched tsubasa remake. For aoashi, the quality is not that much different from blue lock from how i've seen it(though the latter has more CGI imo)
I wish there share a little more context or emotion as a preview. This really doesn't give us anything to latch on especially with the anticipation for it.

Yea, I hope at least there’s better animation in the anime compared to season 1. The majority of the plays were lots of still frames and CGI

There are TONS of match scenes they can show without spoiling anything.

AoAshi and the first season of the Captain Tsubasa remake were both awesomely animated!
