I got there at 9:45 AM and was 27th in line for Philly. We did get barricade and probably could've gotten end of runway but we went for the left corner barricade instead as people started rushing. However, even 5 minutes after we got to our spot, there were still some barricade spots open. It got pretty crammed at barricade once the show started but I never felt like it was too crammed up where I couldn't dance, as everyone respected everyone's space. She was on the main stage a lot and walked along the runway a bunch so I did enjoy our spots, but if I were to do it next time I'd go for center of end of runway. The people I saw who got barricade for that spot were there since 6 AM-9 AM, but after we went through security, people started pushing and running in front of us that were behind us in line after hours of waiting and secured barricade at the end of runway. However, if you don't care about barricade, then get there at any time. Jay-Z hangs out in the back and so do celebrities that go to the show and every view seemed amazing as she walks around a bunch and has amazing stage management. But what amazed me was how much more crammed it looked in club renaissance compared to Europe/Toronto (even in the back where there's usually a lot of space). However, this heat is no joke and if you don't come fully prepared (with lots of water - we drank like 8-9 bottles and never had to pee because you just naturally sweat it out, food to fuel your body, chairs that you're willing to bring back to your car/leave on the sidewalk, umbrellas to protect you from the sun and heat exhaustion), I'd recommend getting there later. I was feeling extremely sick from the heat and only came with water, food and sunscreen and the sun was terrible.

Thank you for such a thorough answer! One of my major things is that I got CR with the intentions of dancing so I was wondering if the capacity would even allow for it. I give so many kudos to those willing to stand in line from the AM until doors open. With the way my outfit and this heat is set up, that feels like a impossible task, however I wanted to know if you're still able to have a relatively good spot (not so much at barricade but in general) if you didn't line up so early in the day. But you saying her stage management is amazing makes me feel like it doesn't matter if you're at barricade or towards the outskirts

I got you, sorry I went too in depth šŸ˜‚ Iā€™d say you have a good chance of getting a good view even getting there once doors open! People moved around a lot around club renaissance from what I saw. Like not to spoil, but she moves around the outside of the circle during one song and everyone was following her around who wasnā€™t at barricade. Also during that part Iā€™m sure you could sneak closer for a better view!

SyanideElix

Don't ever apologize! Depth is what helps everyone wondering the same questions! I've heard that there's no bad spot in CR and the way it's constantly repeated, I hope it's true! Ideally I would like to move around and not be married to one spot so this all sounds pretty good to me! Thank you! One burning question I do have is about Jay Z in CR. He's just chilling in the back comfortably and nobody bothers him? Lmao I have stayed spoiler free with this show so I haven't seen videos so I'm just trying to imagine him towards the bar, just vibing

Fine-Sandwich6643

Yea thereā€™s truly no bad spot! I was surprised with how close barricade was to the stage, photos donā€™t do it justice! So anywhere even not at barricade is a good spot. If you want to move around freely and have a great spot of the entire show, Iā€™d chill in the back center. And yup, he just chills in the back and vibes šŸ˜‚ people will sneak photos and stuff or ask him to sign things but no one really bothers him much!

Could you see the beyhive and how that looked?

Fine-Sandwich6643

Yes! The line for Beyhive looked to be around less than 20-30 right before doors opened and line was fairly short all day! Section is a bit smaller and less people in there so any view looked great over there

Melodic-Squash-1938

Thank you. 4000 dollars later I am pretty excited

Fine-Sandwich6643

Itā€™ll be money well spent! She interacted with beyhive pit a lot!

Melodic-Squash-1938

We did vip club Carter at Otr 2 and were surprised that jay interacted a lot more with us, hoping this is my year with b!!!

MrWanderlusst

Thank you so much for this! Can I ask, where exactly did everyone lineup earlier than your arrival/or when you arrived at 9:45am? I thought you couldnā€™t line-up on stadium grounds until parking opened ..?

Fine-Sandwich6643

We got an email from the venue about where the CR entrance is and we went there and people were already lined up. It definitely depends on the venue since I know Toronto didnā€™t allow lining up before noon. They didnā€™t move us or anything until closer to doors opening so we werenā€™t getting mixed up with other floor sections.

MrWanderlusst

I take it the golden email came a day before the concert? Now that makes more sense, because I couldnā€™t wrap my head around where everyone kept saying they lined up in the morning, or just forming a made up queuing line. Thank you for the relief! šŸšŸŖ©

I was at Toronto night 2. Came at 4/430ish. Was in line for like 45 mins ? Maybe shorter, but I was at the back of the line lol. I ended up getting closish to the end of the runway, like I could see those people diagonally from me. I wasnā€™t barrier, but only one person in between me and the barrier. I could have gotten closer if I wanted to push my way to get right at the barrier, but Iā€™m tall and could see just as well standing behind one person.

H_painter06

Could Beyonce read a sign from where you were standing? Iā€™m trying to see if I should queue early for barricade or do what you did to avoid the heat, but I really want her to read my sign!
