My two cents: if you are going to play the old ass versions of golden tee fairly often, do it. If not, I would ponder a bit. Reasons to keep even if it gets limited use: the “look” is better overall on the cabinet with one in my opinion. Two, with some quick shortkey swaps in BB it’s nice to have a mouse and a left click button without digging crap out

You can use it for games that would normally use an analog stick like Sinistar and Star Wars. I've also used one for light gun games like Terminator 2 and it worked pretty well. I guess it could also be used as a spinner if you wanted. If you're worried about not having enough space you can get a smaller 2 1/4" trackball instead of a 3", I think happ makes one.

I have a 32" wide cabinet with 2 players with a trackball in the middle. It has been used probably 5 times in the last 2 years. I don't think it's worth it. I'm actually considering replacing the panel with one with no trackball. Save the money and put it towards something that will get used like a light gun.

Just play Neo Turf Masters if you're worried about it.

I use it a lot as a mouse. Dealing with combinations and stuff is confortable to have it here. Never used for a game , lol

For me, a trackball is a requirement, as I love Millipede. It's also important enough to me that I'm using a genuine Suzo/Happ trackball.

I play golden tee and shuffle shot enough to make it worth it. Basically there are at most 10 trackball games that are worth a damn, if you have no interest in them, maybe leave it out.
