I installed a dual-dual exhaust system lol. It’s 3” hooker long tube headers going to 4 individual pipes. I’m running true duals out the back through flowmaster 40s. Then if I flip a switch, my electric cutouts close the rear pipes and routes the exhaust straight out the side pipes, completely open and un-muffled. It’s loud as hell
When I was a young airman in the early 90’s, I wanted one of these so badly. The guy at the car lot wouldn’t even let me sit in one. The bank wouldn’t hear of financing it either (because of age, not credit).
Last month, my wife and I pulled into a dealership, and the guy tossed me the key fob for a 300 horsepower EV and said have fun and let us know what you think. No paper work, no drivers license check, nothing.
I guess I look more respectable now. Looks can be deceiving…I’m still just a big kid! XD
My uncle briefly had a Corvette of this era. The only difference was it had side exhaust pipes - holy shit could those things burn your legs getting out! Looked cool as hell, though :)
Thank you! They are the factory original wheels with a lot of elbow grease polish. I’ve debated buying a set of the slotted aluminum ones but the ralleys look so classic
They could have added some on the dash too like on the center console or inside the glove box or even the dash counter, they just put a pannel on each door and one on the gear shifter.
Beautiful. Love the color
What’s up with the exhaust goes at the sides and the back?

Ok that’s really cool! I bet it sounds mean as hell.
I want this after riding in my buddy’s Mustang GT. It’s so cool flipping the “mean switch” to make the car sound badass.

Very cool story. It’s beautiful.

I removed those like 6 months into owning it. A couple 2nd degree burns and I was done lol
What’s the engine?
350 SBC Stage 2 Crate Motor from JEGS
Carbureted?
Yup! The Rochester 4 barrel is the only original part of the engine.
Beautiful Vette! Love that color!
Really cool car
Bicentennial beauty!
Yup! I named her ‘Betsy’ to honor Betsy Ross and the original American Flag !
Next to last year of the sugar scoop rear window. That change to the bubble glass, while not ugly, isnt quite my thing. Either way gorgeous vette
Very cool story and a beautiful vehicle.
Holy Batman!! I’m in love with your vette!! Those side pipes are sexy! Wish I could hear that beauty purring!

Its neat they added a bit of wood but its quite lacking
Only thing it’s lacking is a backseat lol. What do you think it’s lacking in??

Sometimes simplicity is best. The didn’t have a glovebox until ‘77 I believe. But yeah could have had more wood
What is the name of theses paper holders "that i called glove box", its not the first time i seen one and i don't know the name of theses.
They are called ‘map pockets’. I keep a set of vintage 70s east coast atlases in there
