1.19+ modded is still a bit raw IMO, but ATM 8 is fairly good. It’s a kitchen sink but has end game content for a long term goal. Unless enigmatica’s normal mode has changed the formula it won’t have any end game goal
Enigmatica 9 doesn’t have an expert mode yet. That team’s last expert pack was Enigmatica 6 expert. The differences between their modes are that expert packs have heavy recipe gating so you have to progress through a set of mods before you unlock other mods. Personally I wasn’t a fan of E6E and I wouldn’t recommend an expert pack in general unless you’re pretty familiar with all the mods included.
E2E is their best pack by far, but it’s an expert pack so I’d only recommend it if you’re really familiar with 1.12.2 mods. For newer versions of MC, unless you’re set on playing enigmatica, I’d recommend ATM 8 just so you have a goal. I know I lose interest pretty fast if there isn’t end game goals and none of the enigmatica’s after 1.16.5 have end game goals. So really it’s up to you
I would not really recommend any of their packs since they don't appear to want to make it easy (or easier) to be able to use their modpack without a third party launcher. Mostly because they don't have a collection of the mod jars used for the modpack and one would have to download each one themselves for that. Other modpacks that do distribute the jar files needed to play the modpack deserve more promotion in my view. Which is most modpacks, really.
E9 is very stripped down compared to E6 and E2. You'd be better off just playing ATM8 if you want a basic kitchen sink pack, despite it being called "All The Mods" but doesn't have basic necessities like pocket storage. Modpacks really hasn't hit it's mark since 1.12.2 in my opinion. There's a few good ones on 1.16.5 but there's not much going for 1.18 or 1.19.
If you want to stay on 1.19 and get some exploring and overall adventure feel, I'd go with Legend of The Eyes from FTB. It's theme is all about exploring and finding different unique Eyes of Ender for each slot to unlock the End. It has tech and magic as well.

I see, thanks! Last question, would you recommend E8 or E9? Or maybe an even older version? I read that E2 is pretty good.
