Weird way to spell Genbu's Darkness there buddy

I don’t get what everybody likes about Genbus darkness. It’s just like a dark blue sword with a weird texture. Breath of Hachiman is a huge improvement.

For me the rule is: different outfit, different sword.

Idrk, it looks low Res for me. I prefer moonbears paw with the black gosaku armor. Matches the hair on the back of the helmet really nicely.

I have the Gosaku sunset armor with the Hijiki in Sunlight sword.

Even if it doesn't match my outfit, I always use the default one. It feels wrong using a different set when people go "Is that the sword of clan Sakai?" to you in game and its just a big fluffy fur lined sword kit. Gotta represent Jin's pops and his clan.

Agree. I think the midnight one is amazing as well, because I love the colour black. I always try to wear only black clothes and so on, in a video game, if I can. But yeah, the storm of sakai look is great and it truly feels weird to use something different. Jin is emotionally attached to the sword. ANd with the ghost armor, it is even better. He got the family symbol on the cape, a third short sword on the back (storm of sakai) and you can also use the headband of rebirth. It also got the sakai logo on it.

To be fair it’s still the same sword or at least the same blade. That’s why they’re vanity kits and not specifically swords. Katanas are kind of known have their furniture replaced over time from wear or by different owners. That being said Storm is the only kit I use when I’m wearing the Ghost Armor.

I bought it at Dutch comic con in Utrecht for €40. It was honestly a bargain. It’s surprisingly heavy, and the pommel is engraved and very detailed

No one saying islands protector or the true best one, the one you get during the iki island side quest. Don’t google it, pick up your sword and get it. Totally worth it

I think the one I just got is Twilight Oni and it's pretty dope. Before that I was using Emperor's Tears.

Is no one really talking about warrior's brush? Duality of colors with a zest added by purple chord and those long brush like cords along with square tsuba just turn it into art piece. Though I gotta say ALL of the kits are something special that emphasizes the difference between bandit/crazed swordsman and samurai

Hidden heart for me

Bishamon's Fortune is my ultimate favourite. The little skulls, red sheath and intricate oni designs are all too beautiful.

Default storm of Sakai most the time, but I also like hero of tshushima, black and gold has always been a favorite color combo of mine

Hidden heart with Travellers attire. Stone cutter with Sarugami Armour. Sea dragons wing with Tadayori’s armour. Storm of clan Sakai with the Ghost armour and Sakai clan armour.

150 hours in and I've still only used the Storm of Clan Sakai. Narratively I feel like Jin would drop this sword only after fully embracing the mantle of Ghost. So for next playthrough I'll use Storm until then, and then switch to maybe Genbu's Darkness or some other dark blade

My 3 favorite colors are Black, Red and white, so indeed it's my favorite one

If you have a red armor set, Breath of Hachiman is nearly guaranteed to be the best sword kit

Never changed to anything else the second I received the ghost armor. The default one has to be the only pick for that canon route.

Twilight Oni for me

I really like the stonecutter. Its different.

For me it's Azure Dragon, I like the tassels and I like the blue I like the pink on Immortal Hope but I don't have that one yet (I chickened out at the warning about Iki Island and decided to go back when I'm stronger. That day might be today!)

Hidden Heart because I like shirasaya mountings that show off the natural wood grain. I also like the tsuba-less aikuchi-style mountings in general. Other than that, Storm of Clan Sakai also looks neat to me because of the overall color palette, the saya looks awesome, and it's one of the few kits that has an adorned kashira without cheerleader pom-poms or covered up by the tsuka-ito. Ideally, the game would've allowed us to mix-match different parts and colors.

It needed to be like 20% less vibrant and it would have been a perfect fit for the red Gosaku dye 😭

I have a bunch of “favorite” sword kits as I. They are my favorite to run with a bunch of different armors.  I use Breath of Hachiman when I run Gosaku cause I love the red set for Gosaku.  I use Mamushi Venom sometimes depending on what color the armor I currently am wearing is. Same with Warriors Shadow I use Snow Dragons Tears with the Sakai armor because I never take off the Kratos skin. And I use the Hidden Heart for both Sarugami and Ghost armor.

The one I like the most doesn't combine with my loadouts colors so I don't use it. It's the spring bamboo one. It's simple and humble, It has an interesting handle, guard and scabbard tip formats, it also comes in nice shades of green.

I always like to color code my outfits. If I'm wearing something in red or crimson, I'd go with the breath of Hachiman. And so and so.

I stick with the default for 2 reasons. 1 the art team killed with the design and 2 the sword on your back with the ghost armor can only be the default clan sakai kit.

I'm a basic guy, Storm of Clan Sakai and Hidden Heart I just love the default weapon's design, and I love the concept behind Hidden Heart, you think it's just a wooden practice Katana until the blade slits your throat
