It depends if you primarily ride/push or carry honestly.
14 way bags are usually heavier and can be a pain to carry. Many also don’t have stand legs. If you primarily ride or use a push cart then this will be fine, but if you’re carrying I would get a 5 way.
I use the Titleist Hybrid 5 and I love it. It’s light enough to carry but has cart bag features as well.
I have a 14 way hybrid bag.
I like having a putter well. And the individual slots make it readily apparent if any of my clubs are missing.
But- I’ve used other bags in the past without any fuss too.
I hate generic slot bags because of grip friction making it harder to take clubs in and out. I have a 14-way cart bag and it’s just better in every way. I’m also of the opinion that stand bags suck because the leg folding hardware always wears out or breaks on those over time making them sloppy and difficult to use. 14-way cart bags forever.
I know what side I represent, dawg...

I “like” my Bloodz option on the cart when doing drive-bys, but i’m Crip-walkin with slots when I carry.

Fuck you golf bag.
I like the organization of a 14 slots bag. I can tell at a glance if anything is missing and everything is always in exactly the same place and I spend zero time looing for a club that I want. Add in zero issues from grips getting tangled and friction pulling a club. 5 way bags suck.
I personally prefer stand bags as the best all around bag for carrying, pushing, and riding. Most stand bags have 5/6 slots, the ones with 14 look bulky and dumb.
14 slot here. Will never go back to generic slots.
It's nice to know exactly where each club is, and makes checking at the end of the round that you have them all extremely easy.
Plus 14 slots make them less likely to bang into each other.

awesome, thanks for the response. I typically use a push cart!
Then I’d get a 14 way. Maybe search out one with legs - better to have them and not need them, than need them and not have them.

I've used a 5 slot bag for awhile but I might buy a 14-slot, why not
I went from a 5 slot to a 14 3 years ago. I can't wait to go back.
what made you regret the 14?
I hate how disorganized the bag looks on a golf cart. Carrying or push carts its fine. I used a 5 slot for 21 years. Maybe I'm just used to it.
fair enough! thanks for the response.
Isn't it the exact opposite? I use my 5 slot for carrying and 14 slot for pushing or riding.
It's all personal preference.

I have a generic slot hand me down, would prefer an individual if I HAD to get a new one

I have a 14 way and regret it but I can’t justify getting a new bag
Definitely the crip side of things. I don’t play 14 clubs so having a couple open slots would drive me crazy.
I’m on the side of whichever the player likes better

It’s a joke dork
What makes this post the reason golf is going to shit? Literally just asking people's opinion on what type of golf bag they prefer.
Nothing screams high handicapper more than a 14 slot bag.. besides black irons
