When I was younger I didn't understand that weatherby was supposed to be weasly. And once I found out it has become my most hated thing about GoF. Its nothing like weasly. And its not like the weaslys are an unknown family.

Yeah sure he had a lot on his plate and wasn't in the right state of mind even before he was imperioused but it just seems like an incredibly dumb thing to add for the sake of comedy. It doesn't make sense for his character and it sounds nothing like weasly. Its got an extra damn syllable
It was in GoF at the World Cup when Percy was working on Cauldron bottoms. By HBP Percy was well disliked for siding with the ministry regarding Voldemort’s return, so he wouldn’t be casually hanging around the family talking about work like that
I made a Voldy based character named Tim Roddle, I call him Moldevort when referring to him in conversation. Something like that could work. Pick an interesting character from the series and swap a couple letters, maybe?
A prank call pun name perhaps?
I think Hugh Jass would be a great wizard.
Or you could freak the wizards out and name your character Mare Lynn. Naturally since you can use ancient magic and compete the Merlin trials you are his reincarnation.

Some I thought of while making this comment, others are inspired from elsewhere. Hustle Snuff is inspired from a Soviet womble video where Cyanide says Hustle Puff is where all the black wizards go, but I changed the puff to Snuff.
Slyther Inhurbed is well known but I had to make it look more like a name.
