Hey!! I’m 28 and I rent this upper half of a duplex with my husband! He is a teacher and I am a nanny. We got the table and chairs second hand on Facebook market place and all of the glassware and plates are from thrift stores! The plants have been growing for 10 years plus so now they look luxurious! Hoping to own a home some day too!
You guys have done amazing with the place 🥰 I honestly couldn’t imagine being married at our age, and rent is too expensive where I’m at even for a couple 😭 I also dream of a home one day, but yes happy for you guys it is a nice home 🏡
I'm in Ohio and my plants all do great this time of year. The sun is lower in the sky and trees are bare so they actually get way more light November through March than any other time. It's crazy how many things bloomed in February last year.
Hmm yeah you’re right. It was sold to me as a variant of African milk weed like 5 years ago. The name milk weed makes sense as it secretes a white milky substance when cut for propagating or if a leaf gets pulled off.. I guess I’m not sure what it is now lol.
Wow some people’s houses are so nice, I’m 27 and never been able to buy my own furniture so this sort of stuff really sticks out to me lol

Not to be a bummer but with thrifted china it is very advisable to test it for lead! Your decorative skills and plants are gorgeous though
Our thrift shop claims to only re-sell tested and safe china!
Wow that’s awesome!
The glassware and plates and linen on the table are so delightful. Beautiful.
Oh wow this is all so whimsical, i could live in this room forever

Such a beautiful vibe!! If I kept those doors open my cat would sleep in there and break half of the glasses 😅
Thank you!! I want a cat so bad… then I look around my house and realize it may not be the best idea. Worth it tho lol
