No stud should be left behind.

NichtMenschlich

I always freak out if I play with someone else and they don't collect every stud, especially when they break stuff and don't collect everything of it :')

JotPurpleIris

Me too! I always run behind, and am zigzagging all over the place, to collect them all before they blink out of existence. It's less stressful once I get that Stud Attract or, but still...

Few-Juggernaut8723

I’m not sure how many people actually think that way but I don’t get the hate for Lego Marvel 2. I’m 80% complete with the whole game rn and don’t get why most of this sub dislikes it. So far it’s one of my favorites if anything

Longjumping_Horse392

Exactly what I was gonna say! I seriously need someone to enlighten me on why it's that bad, sure the final boss isn't that exciting but the open world and side missions are great!

Libras_Groove3737

That’s my second favorite Lego game after DC Villains

JamesMcat777

I think the main thing was that it was too different from the first two marvel games, and it took a different approach from the safe and effective plot, locations, and characters from its predecessors. What people were likely expecting going into it was more of that, and it was potentially off-putting when there was instead a completely different take on lego marvel, featuring a ton of characters and locations that are way less known, as well as the lack of many fan favorite parts of the first game, including deadpool, the x-men, and the fantastic four. While I do prefer the first game, I enjoy the second one for its unique characters, locations, and gameplay, with my biggest problems being the somewhat overdone plot and the poor voice acting.

YoungNightWolf

-Alot of the characters are the same in the sense of power set; bolt, beam, fly. The roster was Quantity over quality. -POIs feel very cramped -Kang fight was disappointing -It cut fantastic 4 & X-Men (not an issue I have, IK people do hate this tho)

Few-Juggernaut8723

Honestly I thought most of the characters felt unique enough that they didn’t really blend together. The game I had that problem with was Slywalker Saga which I think many also feel like

NichtMenschlich

I think, at least for the people that play it to 100%, it felt way to repetitive with it's side quests. Half of the quests was slowly following a character and defeating 3 waves of enemies. It took absolute ages, compared to the otherwise fast paced game. Personally it was a good game for the levels but the open world felt scrambled together (which is exactly what TT wanted and it is and that's fine, but it wasn't really for me) and compared to other Lego Games I played (to 100% so far) it was the first game that felt like a slog to complete. I pushed it around for months before finishing it. Even Skywalker Saga felt better for me in that regard, even though it suffers from similar problems with the quests, and I was able to finish it entirely in two big bursts.

Few-Juggernaut8723

The game got a little repetitive but all the characters are really good and make up for it imo. Skywalker saga on the other hand was very repetitive and no characters felt fun to use

SipChlorine17

I’m gonna make some people unhappy, but the Lego Batman games (not including DC Supervillains I haven’t played that one yet so I don’t have an opinion) get better overtime. So LB3>LB2>LB1

Temporary_Bad983

I’ve always believed this but I couldn’t find anyone else who agrees, although as someone who has played DC Supervillains the trend continues imo

NichtMenschlich

Havent played 2 in a while but the main "hate" for Batman 3 mostly stems from the open world which felt like a huge let down when compared with previous ones like from Batman 2, Marvel Superheroes and Lord of the Rings. Idk what others thought the world would be like before it came out but I remember something like the DC MMO with both Gotham and Metropolis to be explored. Something kinda like what they eventually did with Marvel Avengers, with multiple hub worlds and one or two big ones. Also I think there is critisism about the levels feeling repetitive / having a very similar style, which I kinda get but which isn't really an exclusive problem of Batman 3 so idk why it's a more prominent critisism in that game as it also had a few of the most unique ones (especially the one where you go across many capital cities around the world)

AspectCR

Lego Batman 3 is incredible apart from the world's. The batcave and other hubs are fun, great character roster, incredible levels (+bonus). But the 5 identical planets are a let down :c I agree, Little Earth is fire

SipChlorine17

So I replayed them and it’s actually 3>1>2

draxion64

The complete saga is way too overrated, and it actually isn't a very good game when compared to its contemporaries

RDDAMAN819

I always thought Lego SW 3 was the best of the Star Wars games

NichtMenschlich

I haven't played the SW 3 levels in probably a decade... I always played the battle mode with my sibling haha Should probably get the game on Steam or install it via the disk of it (idk if it still works but I'd probably rather get it on Steam for the Play Together thing)

Connect-Anxiety5359

The ninjago game should be the example of good combat in lego games, not skywalker saga.

Olorin_Ever-Young

Both Indy games are awesome. I think they complement each other quite nicely. Lego Batman 3 is also great fun. I find it incredibly difficult to rank LEGO games. While none of them are perfect, they all have something or other which make them worth playing.

EnigmaFrug2308

The Complete Saga pales in comparison to the Skywalker Saga. The only thing that the Complete Saga has that the Skywalker Saga doesn’t is character customization and it’s not even a good character customizer. The Skywalker Saga has more, and what it shares with the Complete Saga, it does way better.

KyleMatos1202

complete saga arguably has a much better level design

EnigmaFrug2308

I disagree, but your opinion has merit.

Remarkable-Beach-629

People constantly forget that the levels is all tcs has to offer compared to tss open world with side quests so of course the levels will be longer since its the only thing it has

KyleMatos1202

length doesn’t equate to quality. complete saga just has better level and puzzle design

Remarkable-Beach-629

What puzzle ? Theres barely any puzzle in the game and the few there are piss easy

KyleMatos1202

well it’s a kids game so the puzzles will be easy, but in skywalker saga 90% of the puzzles are “jump here and move this platform to get item” in complete saga there’s a bunch of different ways to unlock collectibles instead of the same challenge 1000 times

i_poke_u

The other drawback TSS has is the repetitiveness to 100% it, but even that isn't too bad for me

EnigmaFrug2308

At least there’s stuff to do outside of the main levels.

siccanimelord69

I'm not 100% sure if this is unpopular but I have always felt that besides batman 2 and undercover, the open worlds are the worst part of any lego game.

Budget-Description97

i personally REALLY liked Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens my top 5 lego Games from 1 being the best to 5 the worst of the best is: 1. Skywalker Saga 2. Lego Avengers 3. Lego Bat-Man 3 4. The Force Awakens 5. Lego Harry Potter 5-7 again ik some will agree and disagree but that's the awesome thing about lego games is that there's always something for everyone!

MikeR316

I love The Force Awakens and Avengers. 2 of my favorites to go back to.

JosephOnReddit1

Some of the Lego Marvel 1 levels were a slog to go through playing them, looking back they were cool but just so samey

YoungNightWolf

Lego City undercover is a top 3 (heck, maybe top 1) Lego game.

Remarkable-Beach-629

Skywalker saga is a great game

Competitive_Day7739

the skywalker saga is amazing and doesn’t need puzzles

Annoying_GayGuy

Lego Movie 2 was actually a nice change of fresh air with it not having any levels

[deleted]

LMSH2 is better then the first one.

Confused_Toothpaste

the lego marvel games were some of the worst ones but I see everyone praising how amazing they were

Narsil_FreeForge

I don't like collecting mini kits or replaying levels more than I have to.

Commanduf

Indiana Jones 2 is better than Indiana Jones 1. I haven't watched the movies, I played them as part of my 100 every game journey and among the 14 games so far ive 100%ed indiana jones 2 was better than 1 because it was so different, it was less about replaying and more completing the game as you go and it was quite freshing to have lots and lots of small levels than fewer larger levels. I quite enjoyed the mini hub worlds. My only criticisims is that the level editor levels in the story were mid af and the vehicle sections could be painful.

AspectCR

Pirates of the Carribean is overrated. Every boss basically comes down to 2 things: A) Jump spamming their health down. See Barbossa, Davy Jones and both mini Jack Sparrow fights. B) Throwing things. See Kraken, Barbossa's second fight, crocodile. The compass is annoying for 100%, too many ship levels, and an awful final level.

Rufcdave123

The original 3 games and Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 and Lego marvel super hero’s are the best 5 Lego game ever and Lego Batman 2 is the mosh overrated Lego game to date

KyleMatos1202

exact same opinion man

Corruptedplayer

I have some. DC Supervillains isnt as good as other people think. while the levels are good, they have made several changes which, over the course of the game, have took me multiple minutes. like why would you take away the quick character changer on the left shoulder button to add the camera mode. another is the 2nd movie game is way better than people think and i hope they continue the new formula in future games

Jin_Chaeji

I really like DC Supervillains but I agree so much with the quick character changer. I hate having to spam a button to change characters, especially since it sometimes looks like it's random
