I used [one of these](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RTL328/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) to humidify my whole room because I have a bunch of instruments out.

Should I have a humidifier? I also have several instruments hanging up on the wall. Live in PNW which is typically pretty dry in the summer especially.

Maybe. I live in MA and have forced air heat so when the heat is on it gets wicked dry in my house. I pretty much have that thing on all winter to try and stay above 40%. If I don't run a humidifier in the winter my hands get super giga dry and I'll sometimes get nosebleeds it's brutal dry here for some reason. Now that it's summer it's less necessary, the AC doesn't dry things out as bad and it's been raining today besides.

I like those Boveda packs, seem to work pretty well and last a decent amount of time.

TehMasterer01

Boveda pack in the case is the easiest way. Toss it in and forget about it for a while.

I recently bought a D’Addario Small Instrument Humidifier for my Eastman 514 oval hole mandolin

I use a dampit violin humidifier. And thanks for the reminder to go load all my humidifiers.
