Agent Venom will always be my favorite incarnation of the character (to much chagrin) but I legitimately feel like most any incarnation of Venom would be an amazing addition.
Sersi & Black Knight, they haven't been on panel together since the 90s & both are in DESPERATE need of more exposure to general audiences. (They're also 2 of my favorite characters in the Marvel Universe & I'll advocate for them to be in literally any comic)
Sersi was on the team between 1990 & 1994, so just about any Avengers comic in that span. Their most iconic story together is the Gatherers Saga from Avengers 343 through 375. They're also the main characters of "Black Knight: Exodus" from '96 (which is also the origin story for the X-Men character Exodus, great read).
Nova (Richard Rider) was actually the person who suggested that Quill use Knowhere as the base of operations for his Guardians incarnation. And yes, more recently he did join the team.
Chasm, once he gets over his evil phase. He's an empowered Spidey at this stage, with less morals (so happy to kill if need be) and ripe to learn new lessons.
Cyclops, Spider-Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Punisher. Cyclops because of his relationship to Corsair. Spidey, so he can get away from NY drama for a bit. Hulk since he might do better on alien worlds. Hawkeye for the shenanigans. Punisher, cause you told him there is more crime in space than on Earth.
Probably wouldn’t last long, but I feel like a more action-oriented Bruce Banner (as he sometimes has been) + a slightly more intelligent Hulk (like Avengers: EMH level) being part of the GotG would be very entertaining for me personally.
My ideal Guardians of the Galaxy lineup would be:
Star-Lord, Photon, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Mantis, Blue Marvel, Korg, Groot, Rocket Raccoon.
Mark Russell and Michele Bandini would be my preferred choice to work on the book.
As I said in a previous reply:
Agent Venom will always be my favorite incarnation of the character (to much chagrin) but I legitimately feel like most any incarnation of Venom would be an amazing addition.
Sundragon/ Pamela Douglas
Moondragon/ Heather Douglas
Genis-Vell
Lunatik
Midnight Sun
Dr. Sun
Captain Comet
Crime-buster
Maxam
HERBIE
Widget
Cerise
Deaths-Head
Dark Angel/ Hell’s Angel
Star-Thief
Longshot
Centurius/ Dr. Noah Black
The Men in Black
I don't have an explanation for some of these but I do feel they would work
Gambit
Deadpool
The og F4 members
Black Panther
Loki
Captain America (Sam particularly)
We have only seen Monica from the Next Wave team yet. So any of these I would love to see in the Guardian of the Galaxy, looking forward to the banter:
[Elsa Bloodstone](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elsa_Bloodstone)
[The Captain](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_(comics))
[Tabitha Smith](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabitha_Smith)

Well if we're not going to go for the classic future GotG, there's a lot of cool space characters that aren't being used that'd be great for a "Space Avenger/Defenders."
Marvel Boy: I don't know what they did to him over @ AoA, but the classic 1950s version would be cool. Retcon the retcon.
Midnight: Space martial artist
Any of the Champions of Xandar, dead but they can get better. Comet or Crimebuster would be my choice.
Blue Diamond: Love classic characters, let him switch between his human and diamond forms
Stardancer: ties to the above and they've never used her much.
A Snark character would be cool but the only named one i know is from the OG GotG future.
Some of the Shi'ar Imperial guard would make for interesting characters, maybe bring back Cerise or Adam X
Too bad Pym-tron wasn't real, he'd was cool when he first appeared and added a new dimension to Hank. That said Hank Pym would be great in space, just de-MCU him.
Nightcrawler, whenever there's a change to get Kurt out of the X-ghetto, do it. Still miffed they didn't put him in the Mighty Avengers, I caused a minor issue years ago when Dan Slott told me he had wanted to use him but was denied permission by the X-editors.
Corsair (Kind of a Starlord type)
Ch'od (I think he's got kind of a drax-y energy)
Hepzibah (she's always reminded me of Gamora...)
Raza Longknife (wild card weaponsy cyborg like Rocket)
With or without the existing team members, I'd love some combo of Thor, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Charles Xavier with legs and portable cerebro, Storm or Crystal, Forge, Agent Venom, Nova, and either Blink or Cloak and Dagger. Maybe Magneto, Colossus, or Cyclops, definitely Deadpool. Several heavy hitters with tons of experience in combat and leadership, that can survive space or harsh planets (or Storm can make an area habitable), a couple that can travel across a system in moments, at least one that can take teleport the whole team with them. Forge would scavenge better tech and weapons than he usually has access to, to enhance for the team, and Storm has been shown to be able to control everything that would be considered weather in space. Professor X because of his ties to space and some of the others, and to add a strong psychic
Probably never going to happen but I'd love a limited series that features Spider-Man and space just to see how he would adapt to that environment
And more chances of things actually happen I'd say hulk's son's Sakkare
Amadeus cho
Speed from The Young avengers (honestly I just want to see him get some love)
Daredevil also interesting to see how his powers would work in space
Vision let him explore Galaxy get off of Earth for a bit it could also lead to some interesting stories if people know he's the son of Ultron
Bucky and Rocket need to be on a team together. Its truly a crime it hasn't happened.
Blue Marvel with his disdain of the Avengers would be a great addition.
Colossus just so I can have two of Kitty's exes on a team.
I think 3D Man would work better a character in space too so throw him there as well.
America Chavez. I like to think about her getting Vance Astro’s time displaced Captain America shield, in a call back to the DnA gotg run. She’s friends with Hulkling and Wiccan so she already has a reason to be in space. It just makes sense imo
Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Adam Warlock, Mantis, Moondragon, Phyla-Vell, Major Victory, Jack Flag, Bug, Quasar and Nova.
That's about it.
Thena ROM (if Marvel got the rights back) Hulkling The Thing Beta Ray Bill Hercules
Beta Ray Bill was on the team during Cates' run and Hercules during Ewing's run.
I believe Thing joined up during Bendis's run
Right, would be cool if he joined up again or maybe makes some guest appearances along with the rest of the F4.
Add nighthawk or Hyperion
Hell yeah.
Oh I like the Hercules addition
He was on the team during Ewing's run.
Oh cool, didn’t know that. Thanks for the info
He was really great there
Warlock (Technarch), Invisible Woman, Magik, Wolverine (Laura)
I really liked when Agent Venom joined up with the guardians.
Agent Venom will always be my favorite incarnation of the character (to much chagrin) but I legitimately feel like most any incarnation of Venom would be an amazing addition.
Cannonball, Squirrel Girl, Gwen Pool, Cypher w/Warlock.
What if? Cannonball became a nova? I think those powers would combine nicely.
Muh helmut! (I know he doesn’t talk like that anymore.)
Sersi & Black Knight, they haven't been on panel together since the 90s & both are in DESPERATE need of more exposure to general audiences. (They're also 2 of my favorite characters in the Marvel Universe & I'll advocate for them to be in literally any comic)
Any recommendations of good black knight and sersi content ?
Sersi was on the team between 1990 & 1994, so just about any Avengers comic in that span. Their most iconic story together is the Gatherers Saga from Avengers 343 through 375. They're also the main characters of "Black Knight: Exodus" from '96 (which is also the origin story for the X-Men character Exodus, great read).
Sleeper (the symbiote), Xavin, Korg, and Thor Girl
Was Nova ever a member? I don't know for sure, but he seems a natural fit
Yes, Ewing made him a member
Nova (Richard Rider) was actually the person who suggested that Quill use Knowhere as the base of operations for his Guardians incarnation. And yes, more recently he did join the team.
He's been an honorary member since it's Inception in Star-Lord Annihilation and the Annihilation series. 💀
Corsair
Gambit Howard the Duck X-51 Genis-Vell Elsa Bloodstone Hepzibah Doop
Genis-Vell is one of my favourite Kree in the comics... And Hephzibah was a member of the Starjammers, wasn't she?
Yes. It’s weird to me there isn’t more overlap/ crossover there.
Skaar would be great
Chasm, once he gets over his evil phase. He's an empowered Spidey at this stage, with less morals (so happy to kill if need be) and ripe to learn new lessons.
Taskmaster I think would be a good addition. Merc-ing it up in space would be tight.
Copying some alien's moves would be neat.
Starfox, Korg, ROM, Sif, Crystal, Lilandra
ShatterStar or Longshot would be incredible
Cyclops, Spider-Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Punisher. Cyclops because of his relationship to Corsair. Spidey, so he can get away from NY drama for a bit. Hulk since he might do better on alien worlds. Hawkeye for the shenanigans. Punisher, cause you told him there is more crime in space than on Earth.
Dark hawk, Nova, Star hawk, Quasar, Beta Rey Bill, Moon Dragon, Pip
I would like to see a little guys team. Rocket, Puck, Pip the Troll, and Howard the Duck
I wanna see Spider-Man (the first one) dealing with space.
OG nova
He was on the team during Ewing's run.
Probably wouldn’t last long, but I feel like a more action-oriented Bruce Banner (as he sometimes has been) + a slightly more intelligent Hulk (like Avengers: EMH level) being part of the GotG would be very entertaining for me personally.
Black Panther
My ideal Guardians of the Galaxy lineup would be: Star-Lord, Photon, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Mantis, Blue Marvel, Korg, Groot, Rocket Raccoon. Mark Russell and Michele Bandini would be my preferred choice to work on the book.
Adult Franklin Richards
I liked when Venom was with them.
Who’re the two characters in the top left and the one character below them?
Sersi and Ikaris of the Eternals, and Shatterstar
Cyclops, Deadpool, Peter Parker, Punisher, Scarlet Witch, Blade and Storm.
As I said in a previous reply: Agent Venom will always be my favorite incarnation of the character (to much chagrin) but I legitimately feel like most any incarnation of Venom would be an amazing addition.
Darkhawk would be fun to see. Rom of course. Monark Starstalker is a natural choice. Frog-Man. There’s never a reason to not use him.
Sundragon/ Pamela Douglas Moondragon/ Heather Douglas Genis-Vell Lunatik Midnight Sun Dr. Sun Captain Comet Crime-buster Maxam HERBIE Widget Cerise Deaths-Head Dark Angel/ Hell’s Angel Star-Thief Longshot Centurius/ Dr. Noah Black The Men in Black
Deadpool, of course
Volstagg might actually be kind of fun
Shatterstar is a great call
Shatterstar and Skaar would be great.
Blue Marvel Sentry
Quasar Bug (microverse) Fire-Lord Adam Warlock
Skaar would be a great replacement for drax
I don't have an explanation for some of these but I do feel they would work Gambit Deadpool The og F4 members Black Panther Loki Captain America (Sam particularly)
Always thought Scott Lang would fit well in there
He was a guardian sometime after secret empire
Damn really? How tf did I miss that?
We have only seen Monica from the Next Wave team yet. I’m thinking Vance Astro, Martinex, Charlie-27, Yondu, Starhawk, and Nikki…
I’d like to see more interaction between Captain Marvel’s kids. Genis-Vel Phyla-Vel Hulking
Who's the hot armpit lady and the dude with the swords (?)?
Sersi (Eternals) + Shatterstar (X-Force)
*Domino *Cable *Psylock *Colossus *Storm
Jean Grey (w the Phoenix, ofc)
Corsair (Kind of a Starlord type) Ch'od (I think he's got kind of a drax-y energy) Hepzibah (she's always reminded me of Gamora...) Raza Longknife (wild card weaponsy cyborg like Rocket)
Nightcrawler seems like he’d be a cool addition. And sticking with X-men, I’d go with Gambit too.
Longshot?

Bucky barns Wolverine night crawler antman she hulk phsylocke daredevil rogue punisher war machine narya
No Silver Surfer? Come on, people. Unless someone mentioned him and I missed it.
The Great Lakes Avengers
Rogue
Bucky and Rocket need to be on a team together. Its truly a crime it hasn't happened. Blue Marvel with his disdain of the Avengers would be a great addition. Colossus just so I can have two of Kitty's exes on a team. I think 3D Man would work better a character in space too so throw him there as well.

Or villains 🤔🤔
Storm, Jean (Phoenix), Warlock, Gambit, Punisher, She-Hulk and Daredevil (dealing with galactic litigation would be helpful) Maybe Black Panther
Skaar sucks. Every second generation hero sucks.
That wasn’t the question
He’s in your picture, so I assumed you wanted him as a Guardian.
