Might get some shade for this but Savannah. I just love it. (I also have an affinity for place names 😂🤦🏻♀️).
More underrated names of mine:
Girls:
Lydia
Mary
Sadie
Josephine (admittedly seems to be getting its flowers lately)
Eloise
Boys:
Beau
Adam
Declan (popular for a hot second there)
Keegan
Ansel
Nina is a highly underrated name in my opinion. Hugely versatile. Strong yet elegant. We are having a boy in a few months but if he were a girl we would have chosen Nina.
Stella is actually in the top 50 (US statistics) It's had a huge jump in popularity over the last couple decades. I know of 2 Stella's under the age of 5. Love it.
I wonder if it's because it doesn't really have any notable history outside of being a nickname for Queen Elizabeth. She called herself Lilibet as a toddler because she couldn't pronounce "Elizabeth," and the nickname stuck- later being used by Harry and Megan as an honor name for their daughter. I think it's very cute, but it doesn't feel like a real name to me outside of the royal family.
Yeah it seems weird to me to use a totally made up family nickname for your child when you're not a member of, or even know, said family.... My toddler Catherine says her name "Caffrin". It would be a bit like a friend naming their kid Caffrin. Like sure I guess it could be its own name but kinda strange, in my opinion.
Annabelle
April (with all the fuss over June and August I thought it'd be more popular)
Carmen
Coralie
Darla
Elara
Fauna
Gwenna
Leona
Loretta
Mina
Nina
Raina
Twyla
Winifred
(Only girls names because I'm terrible with boys names 😊)
Felicity and Simon!
I love Simon!! I’ve always wondered why it’s not more popular, I think it’s due for a comeback
I know! Sometimes I regret not using it for my second son, but we already have a Theodore and I didn’t want the chipmunks jokes.
We have two in our family, Uncle Ted and cousins Theedie
My sister was about to be named Felicity
We’re planning on another baby and I told my husband, if we have another son, I want to name him Simon!
You’re not by chance a Libba Bray fan with that name combo are you? :)
No, but now I’m going to look it up. Maybe I should be!
Simon is such a great name... I'm shocked how few there are!
Tessa
And Tess!
I have an aunt named Theresa nn Tessa. I only like Tessa as a nickname for Teresa/Theresa.
Loved this name since that Mary Kate & Ashley movie, I cant remember which one
I find Dawn so lovely. It's short, well-recognised, and I think the imagery and connotation of a morning dawn is sweet. (A bright, new beginning.)
I love the name Dawn, it’s so pretty.

It's a beautiful name!
In that vein also Siena and Sierra!
Love Sierra!! Good call!! Sienna is very popular in New England!
I've always liked Sadie too. Adam is another really solid name that doesn't get used much, at least lately.
I love them! Classic pretty names but not over used.
Claire
Annie
Melody
Rosalind - Pretty, Shakespearean and uncommon.
Nina is a highly underrated name in my opinion. Hugely versatile. Strong yet elegant. We are having a boy in a few months but if he were a girl we would have chosen Nina.

I think Ingrid is so pretty!
I adore Ingrid, and that's my twin daughter's middle name. It's a wonderful name.
My daughter’s name is in the list. I love it so much but don’t mind that it’s a bit slept on!

Barbara is such an "old grandma" name, but like ignore that and just enjoy the name. Barbara is such a nice name!
Lilibet
I love this one! I’m surprised it’s not mentioned more often on here
I wonder if it's because it doesn't really have any notable history outside of being a nickname for Queen Elizabeth.
