MynameisMatlock

A new star fox game that doesn't try too hard.

Get_your_grape_juice

A sequel to Star Fox: Assault. And maybe an HD remaster (or sequel) to Adventures.

theschlaepfer

I would die for a modern version of Assault

[deleted]

[удалено]

leiablaze

I just started replaying it a bit ago. Forgot how much mashing that fire button hurts my thumb ;n;

xCaptainVictory

I think they were on to something with Assault 's game play. It just came out before 3rd people knew how to make person shooters, so it's a little rough around the edges. A proper sequel would be awesome.

invert16

Oh man yes please! Bring back that era of Star Fox. Adventures and Assault are my favorite games in the series hands down. The world of Sfar Fox is so rich and ripe for exploring. I personally always imagined a solo game with Krystal in the same vein as Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Maybe having her being hunted down by a new enemy as the jedi were in order 66.

KatamariRedamancy

They should make a $20, no-frills rail shooter. It can lean into the retro trend, or not. But it should be $20. I will die on this hill.

Schmenza

Nintendo saw this and decided it should be $70

duckwizzle

I'd be happy with a remaster of starfox 64

BleachyMartini

A remake of Mario Sunshine with all of the annoying and broken stuff from the original fixed.

Get_your_grape_juice

A question, because Sunshine is genuinely one of my favorite games ever, but… what aspects are annoying and/or broken?

BleachyMartini

There’s some obviously broken stuff in Sunshine like the pachinko and Lilly pad level. There’s some stuff I think should be reworked too, like letting people select which shines they want to attempt for each level. I also would like to see the movement tightened up a bit. I found Mario a bit too slippery, which made the FLUDD levels really annoying. Idk, I loved the setting and FLUDD movement, but I also found the game really frustrating.

jj_sykes

I remember sitting in a class by a well known video game developer (I can’t remember his name but was uk based) and he basically spoke for 45 min on how fluid and great Maria moved in Sunshine… each to their own I guess

BleachyMartini

There’s parts of the movement that I really like, but I think it kinda falls apart during the FLUDD-less levels. Mario moves really quickly and kinda slippery, but it balances out when you have FLUDD for more intentional and precise platforming. I found that during the FLUDD-less levels that Mario would slip and slide too much, which was frustrating without the counterbalance. I love jumping into Mario sunshine and just messing around in Delfina Plaza and Bianco Hills, but I can’t imagine myself playing through the game all the way through again. In short, I agree the movement is great, but I think the levels are sometimes designed in a way that makes that movement feel frustrating.

SegaTime

Don't forget the lack of reward and satisfaction for the blue coins.

shgrizz2

Jank all over the shop. It's my favourite mario game, and one of my favourites ever, but that game is weird. I'd recommend the matthewmatosis review of it.

[deleted]

Pachinko, Lily pad, Mario, stuff like that needs to get ironed out of jank.

TheVibratingPants

I don’t even care about the unpolished stuff so much, but I would love a Sunshine that adds back in all cut content and maybe some original maps/features.

Yarael-Poof

Sunshine would legit be a 10/10 game if he could just do a damn long jump

[deleted]

Zelda 3D All-Stars: OoT, MM, WW, TP all remastered in one cart

Nudist-On-Strike

Whoa now, I’m asking for dream games not the crackpot ramblings of a mad man.

Anotherspelunker

GameCube Classic

TammyShehole

A turn-based, party-based Zelda RPG, similar to Super Mario RPG.

Falawful_17

Pretty much mine, I was going to say Paper Zelda. Heck, can even lean into the breath of the wild survival/crafting direction by letting you pick up anything in the over world and use it in combat. Now, these items just need a papery aesthetic...Oh, I know, how about stickers!

Avangeloony

If they do something like this I feel like they will only do three and call it Triforce Trilogy or something.

OceanCarlisle

This is mine too, except I think it could work with only one person ala the Elder Scrolls series.

Flabnoodles

So then not turn-based, or party-based, or similar to Super Mario RPG lol You want a First/Third Person Fantasy-Action RPG set in Hyrule

Aleclom

Honestly? Doing new production runs of their old systems and games. Build some new NES/SNES/64s and reprint the bigger games for each, kinda like the NES and SNES Classics but the actual real consoles. The retro game market is prohibitively expensive to dive into now, and doing this would help a new generation of gamers play the classics on original hardware. A pipe dream for sure.

Jasper_kokoko

They already did that with NES/SNES Mini, I don't see them doing it again with actual new retro hardware. Maybe in 20 years I could imagine Switch 3 having a NES/SNES special edition that looks just like the retro consoles but runs modern software. It would be just fine actually because everyone agrees future consoles should always have backwards compatibility to not lose thousands of titles. (So I imagine that by that time, we would already have a complete retro collection either on Switch Online or proprietary emulator)

userlivewire

Seems a lot simpler to just publish all of their old games into a Nintendo Online arcade service.

MCHenry22

I love this. Being able to buy a brand new SNES without having to sell half of my organs would be amazing

MenaNoN

Pokemon harvest moon Wario and Waluigi in the form of a Mario and Luigi game A Bowser game

neon

just a new Avance wars that's all I want

Dry_Ass_P-word

Trying to start world war 3 eh?

custardBust

An advance wars with a lot more unit types and commander attack types

CokeZeroFanClub

GameCube virtual console

Hungry-Influence3108

Mother 4

jj_sykes

Feel like they have done everything they can with Mario Kart… time to add double dash mode

drybones2015

Nah, time to bring back Diddy Kong Racing.

UraniumRocker

A new F Zero

shgrizz2

We don't need a radical new idea or a new way to play, Nintendo. Just give us more super fast rocket cars in space.

UraniumRocker

It seems like it would be so easy for them to just make a new game with new vehicles and race tracks. No gimmicks, just hyper fast racing. It’s the only thing I look forward to every time there’s a new Nintendo Direct.

tj8686_

Hell, I'd take an F-Zero X remake at this point. Add the DD expansion to it so we can have custom racers and tracks.

jessterswan

Zelda Maker.

spooker11

If you’re talking about the old school Zelda dungeons this would actually be amazing.

jessterswan

Yup, original zelda. You can have all the items and weapons. Graphic filters from the first 3 games...basically a carbon copy of Mario Maker but a puzzler instead of platformer

Whisnant

Wario and Waluigi. RPG like Mario and Luigi but playing as Wario and Waluigi instead

president_gore

Triple pack of Earthbound/Mother 1-3 remastered or remade for 50$

Nudist-On-Strike

Remade in the style of the claymation promo art? I’m in.

Darknety

Galaxy 3 with Rosalina as playable character

Wobzter

An RTS game where you’re Bowser or Ganon trying to stop Mario or Link

WitheredTechnology

I wanted more classic systems ala NES and SNES classics. N64, GBC, Gameboy Advance etc;

JaxxisR

New Advance Wars. I'd settle for a Reboot Camp-style remake of Dual Strike and Days of Ruin. My ultimate magical Christmas land wish is for IS to give Advance Wars as much love as they do Fire Emblem.

Eldritter

Flip open dual screen Phone that doubles as a Nintendo ds

Nudist-On-Strike

Dude, a Nintendo phone that doubles as a console would be the coolest thing ever. They’re the kings of portability, if they ever figure out how to enter the smartphone business they would be unstoppable.

userlivewire

That’s just a Pixel Fold.

Dreyfus2006

3D Zelda game but the entire world is like Atlantica from KH1, bringing back the Mermaid Suit from Oracle of Ages. But with KH2 Atlantica controls, preferrably. Shimomura can do the soundtrack but I'd *really* like something like Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future's soundtrack!

PhilosopherBarbarian

Heart Gold and Soul Silver ports for switch, or full on remastering would be even better!

Hollywoodrok12

A Rosalina spin-off where she has to save the Lumas from a universal threat

Flynn_22

A remake of TTYD, and I finally got it this year. Now… I guess a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising?

HaruVibes

A new Pokémon Pinball

your_awesomeking1

to re release older systems and re print older games

mcsassy3

A sequel to 3D World

totallynotussopp

I genuinely thought I was the only one who wanted this

DB10389

When they announce 3d world for switch I was really hoping for a character pack dlc with 4-5 unique characters like Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Pauline and Daisy, or something like that, I think that would have been so cool

PixieDustFairies

They aren't exactly the same thing, but Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and Bowser's Fury are smaller spin off games that use the same game engine and many of the same mechanics.

Dry_Ass_P-word

Zelda 2 remake in the vein of Elden Ring.

Nudist-On-Strike

If Nintendo were to make a Souls-like, a remake of Zelda II would make a lot of sense.

Brollygagging

An HD-2D Pokemon collection Gen 1-5.

portorange

Baten Kaitos 3

beatsprout64

animal crossing ports on switch

Smeeb27

Picross 3D: Round 3

poisonousflames

New Animal Crossing game or unexpected major update for New Horizons, honestly so disappointed they stopped updating NH when it started to catch up to New Leaf.

Winged_Rodentia

A Nintendo-branded handheld portable PC that can play all Nintendo games from the NES to the Switch and beyond. It's also very powerful - and capable of 4k gaming.

MZago1

One cartridge with the entire N64 catalog. Same for NES, SNES, Gameboy, and GBA.

TastySnorlax

I think they should abandon mario kart and make Super Smash Racers. Make it literally the same as Mario kart but with full smash roster. An ARMS 2 would be amazing- the first is one of the greatest fighting games ever made.

Cassofalltrades

Fire Emblem Elibe remake and Tellius remake

Bootyholetrolll

a new donkey kong country

GalacticJelly

Kid Icarus Uprising 2 lol

titations

I want a new F-Zero game. Please let us have one, Nintendo!

WhWBlue

F Zero with modern graphics, 60fps, online and split screen MP and some wicked customization

PixieDustFairies

Honestly, I really think it's high time Bowser gets his own spin off. Now I know that many of you will say that Bowser's Inside Story should count, and it is a genuinely amazing Mario RPG and as of right now, my favorite Mario RPG of all time. But that doesn't change the fact that it is still a Mario & Luigi game where Bowser is the subtitle of the game as the game's gimmick is him being both playable and explorable. Basically all of the main characters in the Mario cast have gotten their own spin offs now, many having multiple. Luigi's Mansion is a trilogy, Princess Peach has two games now, and even Toad has a lovely little puzzle platformer spinoff. That's not to mention how Donkey Kong, Wario, and Yoshi have their own spin off franchises, and they are far less iconic than Bowser is. (Sorry Donkey Kong, you may have been Mario's first antagonist, but Bowser is undeniably Mario's true nemesis) Not only is Bowser an icon of video game villainy, but he is also one of Nintendo's mascots at this rate. Why else would they have him star in their parental controls video for the Nintendo Switch? An official Bowser game feels like an inevitability, but at the same time Nintendo dropping this in a Direct is far, far less predictable than wondering when ports of Wind Waker/Twilight Princess will come for Switch, or all those times people were speculating about Mario RPGs and Metroid, because at least those franchises were established and Nintendo usually does circle back around to their popular series, even if it does take a while. Most Mario stuff that gets announced are just remakes/ports or continuations of existing series, with the exception of Princess Peach Showtime being announced last year, and I really don't think anyone really saw that coming. I'm very happy that she got her chance in the spotlight, but once a Bowser game is out there, we will truly have spin offs for all the main characters in Super Mario.

cpt_fancycheese

F-Zero GX HD and/or Mother 3 localized.

sweaty_palm_trees

New F-Zero in the style of GX or FromSoftware Zelda game

lamekiddkash

An extremely polished pokemon game, filled with side quests.

Evelyne-The-Egg

Well since TotK and botw already exist... Big budget, AAA open world Pokemon game that has the effort of botw put into it

Donkeytonk

A true sequel to Super Mario World set in Dinosaur Land, modern 2D art style made by the current Mario Wonder team. Release in the SNES Virtual Console. On a similar note, get the internal teams to continue developing for the SNES, GBA, NES and N64 virtual consoles. Games can be turned around quickly and the fans will go insanely hype. There was a semi president here already with Star Fox 2. While it wasn’t made from the ground up in modern times, development was completed just a few years ago. A sequel to Star Fox 64, no fancy big gimmicks just bigger and better everything. Star Fox 64 at the time was one of the most cinematic arcade style shooters ever and the graphics for the time were on another level. Just make me feel that awe again with a gameplay jump similar in scope we saw between Star Fox SNES and N64 (ie., don’t reinvent perfection too much and no gimicks) A true sequel to FZERO X. GX in GameCube was great but the gameplay was perfected on N64. The weight, vehicle control, sense of speed, everything was so tight. Give me a sequel by that team with modern day retro-influenced graphics. A true gameplay sequel to Goldeneye/Perfect Dark… but stick with the bond license or something in that realm (Kingsman?). Get the old Time-splitters team back, pay them whatever it takes.

grizzlyblake91

Either (or both): 1) a sequel to Donkey Kong 64 (lots of unique levels and characters with lots of open world exploration) 2) Donkey Kong 64 on NSO Either way I’m happy, although I would love to have both!

TippedJoshua1

A galaxy 3 that’s more open, like there’s so much more they could do with the space theme, but in many levels it just seems like normal Mario. A new F zero game. Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remake. I know this is gamefreak, but a good Pokémon gen 5 remake.

Talanock

New F-zero that is just F-Zero GX/AX but bigger, better and online. (Maybe slightly easier overall...just slightly.) Pretty sure they own the rights to Eternal Darkness, would be awesome if they internally setup a western studio to continue that franchise somehow. either remake or sequel or both.

linkling1039

A 3D remake of a 2D Zelda game.

Nudist-On-Strike

Any game in particular? Minish Cap would be awesome to see in 3D, especially the parts where you’re tiny.

linkling1039

Either Minish Cap or A Link to the Past. Although personally, I dream with Minish Cap getting a HD-2D remake.

TheVibratingPants

An open-world Mario game that looks as cohesive and beautiful as Sunshine, plays as smooth and dynamic Odyssey, and feels as big and surprising as Galaxy.

crhampton1

Yes!!!

WizardInBlue

Nintendo X Ghibli, Miyamoto X Miyazaki.

DarkBrave_

Honestly a new (3)DS product. I loved those systems and something with cellular capabilities that can play tons of games would be really cool.

Stoney-McBoney

I just want to play wind walker and twilight princess on the switch.

weberlovemail

pokémon ranger but the joycon is the styler. they could release a custom case that is stupid expensive for the joycon to sit in so it like you're really using a styler! i've been BEGGING for this for YEARS

Mrofcourse

The next Mario kart to be a Mario kart maker game where people can make their own tracks and have deeper cosmetic customization of their karts. Or maybe just go full smash bros style and have all sorts of characters, items, and tracks from a bunch of different franchises.

megasean3000

A new Kid Icarus game. Xenoblade Warriors. A Star Fox game that isn’t a rail shooter. I’ll gladly take another Adventures if we can spice the series up a little. Fire Emblem Radiant collection remakes. Kirby x Metroid crossover game.

wilsontron

A kirby/metroid crossover? Why? How?

TheDoctorDB

I’ve got a couple ideas.  1) A Pokemon compilation. 2) Alternatively, a Pokemon game like Gen 2 but that takes advantage of modern hardware. Instead of a compilation of old games, we could have a new game that allows the player to traverse multiple regions (Kanto, Johto, and Hoen, for example), getting badges and doing other story-based quests throughout the whole world). 3) A Fire Emblem compilation. Would prefer remakes of all the GBA games in the Echoes format, and each one can come with the original game. Ofc that was the original dream, but if the originals are going to continue to be released on NSO, I guess it’s not 100% necessary, but would still be nice to say I own them.  4) A legit game where you play as the opposition. Seen a comment already with Bowser or Ganon as the main character. Would also be cool to have an official game like the old Team Rocket rom hack for Pokemon.

Conversation_Dapper

Nintendo kart or super smash bros racing

GrayLetter

A breath of the wild style open world zelda but set on the high seas ala wind waker

paulct91

Virtual Reality Metroid Chronology, there is the obvious one Prime, then more interesting remasters, Metroid: Zero Mission, Super Metroid, Fusion, Hunters, a more 'free' open-world version of Metroid: Other M, or S VS S (Samus VS Starfox) a bounting hunting game plus throw in the past bounty hunters from (MP Hunters) for a super bounty hunting gamefest!

Blood_Paragon

Personally, I'd want a (Rollercoaster/Zoo) Tycoon-style park building game that you can set up and then go into with friends as the actual park attendees. Imagine being able to make your own Nintendo Land (2) type thing, with each building attraction potentially having a minigame that you can play with those friends (or just enjoy views of the park from a coaster or Ferris wheel)

WillsMonsters

Zelda 1 recreated in the breath of the wild engine. Or voxel like the amiibo

Spirited_Actuator406

Pokemon Sun ported to switch

Super-Franky-Power

Xenoblade Musou

FPHOBIA771

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story collection Final Fantasy VI remake using Octopath Traveler’s Engine Shining Soul I and II remaster

stipo42

I always thought Hyrule would be the best setting for a survival / crafting type game. Not a main Zelda game of course, but there's plenty of lore to work with

DredPirateStorm

I want some sort of game that combines the universes of Star Fox, F-Zero, and Metroid. I envision something similar to GTA5 where you bounce back and forth between Fox, Captain Falcon, and Samus as they try to fight some intergalactic foe.

MiracleDinner

A true Paper Mario 4

VaicoIgi

In like 5 to 10 years when mobile chips get stronger and VR becomes cheaper to make while also easier to use standalone I would love a unique spin on a VR headset from Nintendo. And then a standalone big open world Zelda game that makes you feel like you are in Hyrule with Nintendo's quirks and unique design philosophy it would be amazing. If anyone has a quest and a decent PC you can try going into Breath of the wild through VR chat and that experience is insane.

soliddd7

I dont have one dream game tbh, theres a few I would think would be dope, but nothing that stands out too much. Give me a new good starfox and f-zero game with classic but evolved gameplay. Give me a new famicom detective club and punch out game. Give me more nintendo-land like games with crossovers for the nintendo games. Give me nintendo vs capcom. Maybe my dream game would be a pokemon and monster hunter crossover game, but that will never happen.

Slunk_Trucks

Kirby Air Ride: Oops all City Trial

Vestrill

This is going to be extremely random and will probably never happen but if they ever make an HD port of Dissidia Final Fantasy Duodecim 012 and release it for Nintendo Switch then I would be over the moon.

metalforhim777

To finally truly get Online gaming right. Get social media connection added etc. And if you don't know how to add parental controls so that your 6 year old doesn't hear me drunkenly yelling after losing a rocket match league you're probably too old to be a parent anyway.

UltiGamer34

Good mario sport games and a return of the wii series to the switch mainly remakes/remastered

livipup

I think The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is about as close as we'll get

anchrone

A dark, gritty soulslike Zelda game

Origami_bunny

I want to stream everything through the Switch

xAlice_Liddell

Super Mario Kart all Stars. It can have 1-7 with updated and retro graphics, online play and battle modes an art book and music.

Last-Performance3482

Either a Red Dead Redemption like Metroid, where you could find or buy upgrades for your suit, your weapons, your ship, fulfill contracts, discover the metroid universe beside Galactic Federation, Chozo and Space Pirates, and also fight in spaceship battles. Though it could also be a good idea for a MMO, and a Metroid Roguelike could be great too. Either a Suikoden or Unicorn Overlord like Fire Emblem, were you would also manage your country beside just recruiting and fighting. Or a good Pokemon platinum remake And while I'm here, a Metroid or Fire Emblem adaptation could be great and attract more players for this games.

RaspyBigfoot

A GameCube mini loaded with good first party games

WanderWithMe

An N64 Mini including Blast Corps, Perfect Dark, and a few other favourites. I believed in it a few years ago despite most saying it was impossible due to licensing - PD and GoldenEye on Switch shows it isn't! The problem is, an N64 Mini in itself seems unlikely by now.

talllankywhiteboy

A Legend of Zelda game where you play as Zelda during the time jump in Ocarina of Time where she becomes Sheik. Basically an Assassin’s Creed game where Zelda learns the way of the Sheikah and works to buy her people time before the Hero of Time returns. Sheik also maybe visits temples to find the songs she will need to teach the hero for his journey. The game ultimately ends when adult Link first appears as the long awaited hero.

KexyAlexy

I would like to get a traditional Zelda game that would be all about combining items. Every item would have both shape and element, and you could combine them however you like. Like let's say that you get a gale boomerang and fire spin attack. If you take the boomerang and attach the element of fire to it, you get fire boomerang. Or if you combine them in the other order, you get air spin attack, that would push enemies away. And you would get new items / skills from dungeons like in the traditional Zelda games. This would make it so that whenever you would get a new item / skill, you would in reality gain a lot of new combinations, and it would be fun to play around with them. Or you could get items and elements separately: a boomerang is a boomerang and air element is an air element. If it would be like this, the elements could have cute elemental characters representing them. Or maybe you could just combine items, like attaching a rope to your arrows, shooting them wherever so that you could use the rope to slide down or climb up. I just want traditional Zelda where you could combine items. TotK had nice fuse system, but I also love the traditional dungeon items.

KatamariRedamancy

Soft reboot of Metroid Prime that is extremely cryptic, creepy, and has a much more realistic art style than some of the later games. Probably M-rated.

HaidenFR

Metroid 3D breath of the wild Starfield how it should be...With coop and counter coop.(Players can hunt you)

jessehechtcreative

Metroid Samus Returns Remake, and then remaking Fusion, then a new game detailing Samus’ prologue, then Zero Mission as a direct sequel to that new game

Dont_have_a_panda

A the Legend of Zelda JRPG made by either platinum games (action styled in this case) or by Intelligent systems (turn based on this other case) or even both! Either of these would be a dream come true

Fishtaco1234

A new Dr Mario game. Really anything at this point. I do have dreams of Dr Mario 99 though

ElCidly

I can’t believe they haven’t done Kingdom Hearts but with Nintendo characters.

tragicjohnson84

Honestly, Nintendo made it a few years ago, it was Metroid Dread

TheFergPunk

New IP in a genre they haven't tried yet like stealth. Nintendo tend to do unique twists on genres. We saw that with Splatoon, Arms, Smash Bros, Pikmin and so on.

creaturecatzz

wind waker with unlimited dev time. give me a greatfish isle dungeon and a water temple to accompany the earth and wind. flesh out the hyrule under the waves and make ganons tower more than just a boss rush

ZebaZtianRamireZ

A new Golden Sun game, i was thinking that maybe Atlus or Monolith could do something interesting with the IP

akadebso

Snes2 and a game where Mario returns to dinosaur land

A clone console that plays GameCube, Wii, and Wii U games without the motion control gimmicks; preferably if it also has an adapter for DS and 3DS games that resolve the dual-screen gimmicks. "How would that even work?" "I dunno, I'm not a computer programmer!"

i_probed_spongebob

An open world collectathon 3D Mario / Donkey Kong crossover game where King K Rool and Bowser team up

michaelpjaffe

How about an upgraded Switch that has the power of the current Steamdeck?

MyDogIsDaBest

Right now, it's a Star Fox game that's the spiritual successor to Star Fox Assault.  I think Starlink was on the right track, but needs to be a fully Star Fox title. Make it Star Fox meets freelancer (old game, check it out) and has a fairly significant focus on multiplayer. Make the multiplayer part of it free to play and get everyone in on it. Make it take after classic Halo and add another shooter to Nintendo's belt.  When Nintendo were talking about BOTW being an open-air game, instead of just open world, I had hoped they'd expand the BOTW engine (which I think is still internally called lunchbox?) to more titles and Star Fox felt ripe for the pickings.  Traditionally, Star Fox has been an excellent technical showcase for Nintendo. Original Star Fox was the premier for the Super FX chip and what it could do and Star Fox 64 showed us the Rumble pak. SF adventures didn't necessarily show off new hardware, except for the fancy fur rendering effects and water techniques Rare built, and Star Fox Assault (I miss it so) was purely Namco making a Star Fox game.  To a limited degree, Star Fox Command tried to be the game where gestures and almost entirely touch screen controls were shown, but it's success was much more limited (and the story writing was atrocious) and Star Fox Zero was Nintendo's last ditch effort to prove the Wii U gamepad could enhance gameplay. It's a pity about the gamepad because Nintendoland showed some really really cool uses, but never really caught on.  On a lesser note, Star Fox Guard also tried to use the gamepad effectively and didn't really manage to prove itself necessary unfortunately.  I had hoped that the new tech in BOTW would be enough to get Nintendo themselves jazzed about building the Lylat system so you could fly around it and land on planets and stuff, but it doesn't seem like there interested in that.

irafo

Gamecude NSO

UsefulZucchini4868

Game and watch Metroid addition.

AtLasM0th

A sequel to Miitopia with fully realized areas the player can roam freely around instead of walking in straight lines with fork paths. Combat can either be done in real time or with command inputs ala Mario RPG style

Vandersveldt

My actual DREAM Nintendo game? That would be Microsoft working with them and giving them the reigns to Viva Pinata and then making Viva Pinata 3

MarleneCM

An open world Zelda but with grown adult link and Zelda

Melodic_Avocado_3388

A Mario is missing sequel where Luigi travels the multiverse while all of the universes are also merging

TheRealBrots

This one is easy. A new Zelda with OoT style dungeons, unique gadgets/weapons that don’t break, a more realistic, darker tone and graphics on par with Elden Ring.

Coolman_Rosso

A Mario & Luigi styled game, but starring Wario and Waluigi

gadgetclockwork

Ocarina of Time remake, like an actual remake along the lines of what Capcom did with Resident Evil 4. I would be so happy.

Complex-Shallot8179

I'd love a Mario Odyssey 2

QuadrantNine

A GameCube emulator for Switch Online.

Spirited_Repair4851

Pokémon Crossing: Animal Crossing with Pokémon. Instead of capturing them, you live among them in a community. Super Mario Galatic Odyssey: A follow-up to both the Galaxy games and Odyssey. Mario and Peach must assist Rosalina with rescuing the Lumas and the Galaxy. The gameplay is similar to Odyssey, with a wide variety of ways to win moons in the game. However, the lands are now designed in the style of Galaxies, with the game allowing different methods of traveling across each Galaxy. In this version, players can play as Mario AND Peach, with them using Cappy and Tiara, respectively. Luigi and Rosalina would both be unlockable later in the game. Double Dash becoming a playable feature for the new Mario Kart game. Motorcycles now feature a sidecar for the partner racer. A new 3D Zelda game that is the complete opposite of BotW/TotK, where it's set in a fully civilized medieval Hyrule, similar to Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time. Dungeons happen again in temples and castles. And there is now an overarching story.

sergiossa

I would love a sort of reverse Wii U Switch, where the console is still portable but it can wireless communicate with a receiver that streams to the TV. I think it may not be feasible at a price point that would make sense to Nintendo, and the Wii U being such a sales failure probably turned them off from the whole concept. But games like Nintendoland and Zombie U where so much fun, I would love to have more games like that.

Golden Sun remakes

DenryuRocket110

A world to explore like in Legend of Zelda, similar gameplay like A Link Between Worlds, that would let me build a town and have my own house like in Animal Crossing: New Horisons. The villagers are various creatures and monsters from across Legend of Zelda series, there's even some fun crossovers like Bowser and Mewtwo. Each creature could join you in adventuring and have unique abilities that assist you in exploring the world, similar to Dragon Quest Builder.  I'm just gonna go play Dragon Quest Builder.

Either a remake of my favorite game of all time... Or a new F-Zero. My favorite game is Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. While Roy got famous thanks to Smash Bros., the game itself isn't very popular... it has some questionable gameplay elements (e.g. forcing players to progress quickly to unlock the true ending. Or Roy promoting his class right before meeting the "final" boss), some elements seem really unfinished (e.g. Lilina's "protagonist" treatment), the game was never officially localized and the other two GBA games are simply better in many ways. I'd love to see a remake of it one day that is not super faithful to the original, but actually tries to improve on everything. With the budget of Three Houses and modern graphics. One day! 🙏

KorokGoron

I want a Zelda life sim/adventure game. I want to play as the different races, I want to explore dungeons, farm the land, get married, have tiny goron babies… I want to choose to be a good guy or a bad guy and go around thieving or just living life. I want to trade with local towns, build towns, destroy towns, ride horses… It’s never going to happen, but after every Zelda game is over, I’m hungry to just live in the world. At this point, I’d settle for a multiplayer Zelda game that’s traditional Zelda, not a four swords or triforce heroes type of deal.

An actually good pokemon game

I just want a fully 3D Zelda: a link to the past remake, no really big changes. A lot of the items are so cool, dungeons are fantastic, bosses are so fun.

ryandmc609

StarTropics 1 and 2 Remastered and a new StarTropics 3. And a new remaster Metroid Prime 2 and 3 for the Switch.

Franklin & Lamar Superstar Saga

TruePhazon

Metroid with online multi-player/pvp modes like Metroid Prime Hunters.

Round_Musical

Metroid 5: a sequel to Metroid Fusion. I waited 19 years for Metroid 5, aka Metroid Dread I am so glad it exists and that it fulfilled all my expectations

soulxhawk

A Zelda game with the open world of Breath of the Wild, but a story like Ocarina of Time and weapon that do not break or need to be recharged.

theboxturtle57

Sounds super basic but Mario Galaxy 3 where you can choose your character in the beginning like Mario 3d world. I would've said a new Mario and Luigi hut we just got that announcement

Sly_dawg_1-7

If Nintendo made a console based of the 3ds with some core features like street pass clamp shell design and flipnote studio (except on time release)

Sindy51

The switch sucessor fixes drift, and we are able to play our switch games on the system. n64 classic Game and watch with snes super mario world and mario kart with wifi multiplayer 2 player. Ocarina of time remade from the ground up. better graphics and mechanics, same story, but more modern side quests, larger map, updated activities and mini games and better npc interactions and not just 1 sentence like offering quests that unlock as the story progresses.
