Thank you for sharing your day-to-day process as a recruiter. It seems like a pretty rough job, honestly, and I'm more sympathetic to your struggle now that I have a clear view of what you must endure.
I think the reason the satire is missed because this is how genuinely exhausted and frustrated a lot of people are with the current market.
Posts like this just aren't funny anymore. People are fed up of being treated like second class citizens at this point.
I agree. But I instantly saw the satire. Maybe it's because I'm more used to being out of work and getting fucked with by employers. #oldoutofworkvsnewoutofwork
It was hilarious. And well done. Everyone too dumb to see CLEARLY that it was satire/a joke ironically makes me a little sad for actual HR/recruiters. lo and smh Because it shows the amount of people being mostly stupid people applying for stuff. š¤¦š¾āāļø
āĀ a role I posted one week agoā¦ had around 3 candidates that made it to the final round.āĀ Everything else is believable, but 1 week turnaround time for multiple rounds of interviews? Seems very ineffective and slow compared to your work pace Ā /sĀ
You should bring up the subject of work schedule with your boss. It is way too extensive, and also a bit intense. What about getting up for coffee at 10AM? That would be an healthy compromise.
Wow, thatās quite a routine! Itās interesting to see the behind-the-scenes perspective, but the part about ignoring applicants and gaslighting during layoffs seems a bit harsh. Maybe a touch of empathy could make the process smoother for everyone involved?

Geez. Not sure how this is suppose to make people not like recruiters/HR. Comes off as someone who doesnāt like confrontation. Then again, that area is plagued with derailers. No wonder the people who donāt like them put them on the same pedestal as real estate agents.

Lol. This was hilarious satire. Nobody seems to be getting it.

>blacklist come candidates from the company as I didnāt like their vibe This is the realist shit I will read this quarter.
Too many people here not realizing it's satire. I bet you got your inspiration from those 'homer simpson job descriptions' on tiktok?
šÆ
Sounds about right
Lol I'm glad I read the whole thing. Was about to post saying how ridiculous this is only working six hours a day.
im sending this to my recruiter gf
You forgot to include the applicants that applied 5 months ago haha.. need to keep leading them on while you think of a unicorn application
well played
Omg this is hilarious!š
2 Hour lunch?! 4 hour for Europe!
Reminds me of this: https://youtu.be/Kma2sPrIYCg?si=rPIATyADC8_K7fjI
Glad you are getting some work life ruining balance in
Takes you two hours to make coffee ?
I think you'd be more efficient in the 11am timeslot if you didn't craft individual unused responses. A template is best.
Do you folks really think recruiters make hiring/firing decisions, decide how much people get paid, or set macroeconomic conditions?
...is there any job that attracts the most sociopathic, lazy, and unskilled grifters as recruiting, real estate, or used car sales?
Why yes, onshore maritime managers for maritime terminalsāparticularly with APM Maersk, you can add unprofessional, and misogynist to the listā¦

It's satire.
you must be a part-time job if you wake up at 9am and get off at 5pm with a 2 hour lunch?

Satire mate.
